“I got in a bad accident with my 2004 Ford Mustang GT and totaled the car beyond the repairable point. I was in search of a 2005 Ford Mustang GT as a replacement and found one used with 14,000 miles. I had put a $500 deposit down on the car to hold it. I was smart enough to submit a Car Fax report on the car, only to find out the Mustang had been in an accident in Kansas City, Missouri. I withdrew my purchase offer and had to fight to get my deposit back. I ended up purchasing a new 2006 Ford Mustang GT for the same price. Thanks to Car Fax for saving me more grief. I will use Car Fax for every other car I purchase.”

“The vehicle that I paid to get 2 car facts report on was involved in an accident and had $35k worth of damage. The report indicated that the car was accident free. I notified you of these facts some months ago and never was contacted or followed up on. Very poor customer service and a true disservice to those who rely on your information.”

“I always ask for a car fax when i purchase a used Car. It helps me know previous owner(s), any issues with the car,where the car is from, whether it has been properly maintenanced, any warranty left and guides me in my decision of purchase! Trusting in the carfax has prevented me from purchasing a vehicle that has questionable mechanical issues and accidents. Thank you Car Fox for caring about My safety and My family safety <3”

“My Pops used my email to get his carfax. Cause he doesn't own a computer never has never will. AND it helped him get the information needed to follow through and purchase his Cadillac Biarritz :). “I was searching for the best used minivan I could afford for my business, so quality and price were critical. I found one online I thought was perfect at a fantastic price. After talking with the salesperson on the phone, I checked CARFAX and discovered the van was wrecked with a reconstituted title. I signed up for unlimited searches, and found a great low-mileage van, with more features than I wanted, and within my budget. When I saw it, the van looked brand new. CARFAX is a must!”

“By using carfax I was able to pick from three vehicles I was hoping to buy. It showed me several things about the cars that did not show up on another "car check" system. I am very pleased with carfax , and will use it on future used vehicle I plan to buy. I have also told friends and family about the value of using it.”

“I went to look at a low mileage car. It looked perfect. It clean and nice. I asked if it had ever been in an accident. No no. The seller saw me lean in to get the VIN number. He then stated that it was a very small accident and the airbags did not deploy. I went home and the car had been totalled in another state! Thank you CarFax!!”

“I used CarFax in the long search for our "new" to us, pick up - It was nice to have another layer of information about the vehicles being considered. Having the CarFax allowed us to feel confident in the choice we eventually made and we are loving our 05 Ford F-150! I would recommend CarFax and use it again when we are in the market to buy another car!”

“I was looking for a reliable used car for our daughter and her newborn son, and we thought we had found the right car for her. As an afterthought, I ran a CARFAX, and now I am SO glad I did. “Recently, I bought an old but well taken care Freestar 2005 minivan for my parents. The minivan past my "eye" and driving tests. However, I felt uncertain about proceeding with the purchase due to the lack of information shared by the seller. Carfax report provided me with the information required to be certain about purchasing a used vehicle. My parents love their minivan and I love to see them happy!”
