Horrible company to deal with, in fact it is not a company at all, just an online entity, only smoke and mirrors. No customer service, nobody to talk to, only idiotic robot call answers. Lots of fine print in contract, ends up being extremely expensive

Dear fellows, friends, and families, We had not a good experience with this firm. One of the compagnies they work with in Corfu sells their own and lower deposit. They earn €75 per car. And Carjet - which operates from another country did not respond to our complaints. We saw a lot of disappointed and stressed people, who all had hoped that they would have had a less stressed start of their holidays. So we are not going to rent a car from these firms again.

Worst experience ever. Booked a car 4 days before, l paid the reservation and the assurance, when I got there they didn’t have a care, they didn’t have reservation, staff really impolite “that’s your problem not mine”. Left without the car, called for refund. There were 2 other groups in same condition when we surrendered and left. It’s a scam

We booked car in Switzerland from Zurich Airport. Payed the deposit in advance Canadian $99. Also took insurance from 2 days from July 7th to 9th. We were told to contact once arrived at the airport. We tried so many times from 6pm to 8 pm and no one picked our call. Airport information and police also so many times but no one attended the call. Eventually we booked the car through Enterprise. We as an international customer were completely cheated by the Car Jet company as later once we tried to contact them and provided all proof their AI generated information completely ignored and refused to pay our deposit back. We will never recommend anyone to utilize their services.

had booked a 7-seater vehicle, and according to the rental agreement, no changes to this booking were permitted. However, when I arrived in Bergamo, Italy, with my family, the local rental agency informed me that no such vehicle was available at that time. They advised me to resolve the issue directly with CarJet. After several unsuccessful attempts to reach CarJet by phone, I contacted customer service via WhatsApp chat. Unfortunately, they kept referring me back to the local rental agency, which was of no help. I was offered a 9-seater minibus as a replacement, but only on the condition that I pay a €300 upgrade fee – essentially a “take it or leave it” offer. I was left standing there with my children and had no real choice but to accept the minibus, despite never having driven such a large vehicle before. The agency also pressured me into purchasing an expensive insurance policy, clearly taking advantage of my stressful situation and lack of alternatives. Overall, this experience was deeply disappointing and unprofessional. To this day, I am still waiting for an official response from CarJet regarding this matter. ich habe über carjet Portal einen 7-Sitzer-Mietwagen gebucht. Man verwies mich auf CarJet, um das Problem zu klären. Nach mehreren erfolglosen Versuchen, CarJet telefonisch zu erreichen, wandte ich mich an den WhatsApp-Chat. Dort wurde ich jedoch immer wieder an die örtliche Mietwagenfirma zurückverwiesen, obwohl diese jegliche Verantwortung ablehnte. Letztlich wurde mir vor Ort ein 9-Sitzer-Minibus angeboten – jedoch nur gegen einen Aufpreis von 300 Euro. Die Situation war nach dem Motto „Friss oder stirb“. Da ich mit meinen Kindern dort stand und keine Alternative hatte, war ich gezwungen, den Minibus anzunehmen, obwohl ich noch nie zuvor ein solches Fahrzeug gefahren bin. Zusätzlich wurde mir unter Druck eine teure Zusatzversicherung verkauft – offenbar wurde meine Unsicherheit ausgenutzt. Insgesamt war die gesamte Abwicklung sehr enttäuschend und keinesfalls kundenfreundlich. Besonders ärgerlich ist, dass ich bis heute keinerlei Stellungnahme oder Rückmeldung von CarJet zu diesem Vorfall erhalten habe.

Terrible service resulting in car hire being extortionately expensive once you land. Went to pick the car up and the third party car hire company cited extra costs which tripled the cost of the car hire which I had paid Car Jet for up front. Complete scam and absolutely zero customer service from car jet. Avoid at all costs.

The worst service ever, terms&condition and communication with their suppliers. No problem solving. The most complicated car hire procedure. No refund. Never again booking with Carjet.

Two Bad Experiences – Still No Refund (€449,95!) This has been a frustrating and unprofessional experience from start to finish. I’ve now had three separate bookings with CarJet, and every single one of them went wrong — and I’m still waiting for €449,95 to be refunded. First, I was given a car that was already in terrible condition – visible damage, mechanical issues, and clearly unsafe to drive. I returned it within one minute. They cancelled the booking and told me I’d get a refund, but the money never came. Then today, I faced a second failed booking. Everything seemed confirmed, but upon arrival I was offered a completely different, dirty, manual Dacia Logan instead of the Opel Astra automatic I had reserved. Again: no proper car, no solution, and no refund. And on top of that, there was an earlier booking from April that also failed — I’ve already submitted a dispute, but still no resolution months later. In total, I’ve lost: • €133,27 (April booking online payment - rest on arrival) • €151,77 (insurance April booking) • €164,91 (July booking) = €449,95 gone — and not a single refund issued. I booked in advance, followed all the steps, and trusted the process. In return, I got nothing but stress, lost time, and lost money. The way this has been handled is absolutely unacceptable. If this is how they treat paying customers, I strongly advise everyone to look elsewhere. I want my full refund — immediately.

Losing my savings so quickly was heartbreaking. I was completely shut out of my account, unsure where to turn. A friend recommended Fred Mercy, and that changed everything. He took my case seriously and helped recover every cent. It was one of the hardest experiences of my life, but I'm grateful for the outcome.

I want to complain about car rental in car jet. I booked a car in Turkey. The car was in poor technical condition, very dirty inside and out. They took a deposit of €950 from my card. 80 days after returning the car, the deposit has not been returned to me. The company is silent. It seems that car jet does not value its business reputation ‼️

Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration regarding a car rental booking I made through CarJet with Goldcar as the provider. Due to an airline schedule change and a significant flight delay, I arrived at the Nice Airport approximately 6.5 hours later than originally planned. As a result, I was informed at the Goldcar desk that my reservation had been cancelled due to a "no-show," and that I would receive no refund, nor any support to modify the booking. This situation is completely unfair. I paid the full amount in advance for a 5-day rental (€212), and through no fault of my own, received absolutely no service. On top of that, the CarJet website stated the booking was non-refundable, even though the delay was clearly due to flight circumstances beyond my control. No attempt was made to contact me or offer any flexibility. I find it unacceptable that international travelers are penalized so severely when companies fail to take real-life travel scenarios into account. I kindly request: - A full or partial refund, or - A voucher/credit for future use If no solution is provided, I will be forced to pursue the matter further via my bank (chargeback/dispute) and submit a complaint to consumer protection authorities. I have been charged about £200 for not having credit card in my name and they didn't accept the same credit card I paid the deposit with!!! The car was absolutely dirty inside and outside,, the fuel tank was completely empty and fuel light was on and we had to desperately find a petrol station,, car was very old and end of the day we paid @£234 for a dirty old cat for a weej,, Not happy,, and not recommend it at all,,

Avoid CarJet – misleading and expensive experience! I booked a car through CarJet.com and paid €109 in advance. When I arrived to collect the car, I was told my booking was not valid because I only had a debit card — and I would have to cancel and make a new booking costing €600. This condition was never clearly stated during booking — it was hidden in the small print. I had no choice but to walk away and rent a car from another company on the spot, which cost me far more. CarJet refused to refund the €109, even though I never received any service. Their support simply pointed to the terms and conditions instead of taking responsibility for not communicating important requirements up front. This felt like a scam — misleading pricing, unclear conditions, and no refund even when you get nothing in return. I strongly recommend avoiding CarJet altogether.

Booking Cancelled, Refund Delayed, and Higher Prices Offered I booked a car with CarJet (Booking Ref: PRE-180124915) at a very competitive price. The payment was processed immediately, but shortly after, I received an email saying the booking was cancelled because no cars were available. Instead of resolving the issue properly, CarJet redirected me to their website with a “special offer” that showed higher prices than other platforms. This feels like a classic bait-and-switch tactic. To make matters worse, although they claim to have refunded me, there is no refund in my account yet, and there is no clear way to contact customer support to resolve this. I expect CarJet to process my refund immediately and stop these unfair practices. If I don’t receive my refund within 3 business days, I will escalate this through my card provider and report it to consumer protection authorities. 🚨 CarJet – refund my money and resolve this now.

Your provider is a rip off and when contacting you, you have sent me a message that the booking can't be cancelled or changed. The provider gave me a cancellation form and your customer services just have automated responses. I will never use your services again and block your website from my browser. Terrible how you take advantage of customers. And I was travelling with my son, so definitely ruined my first day of our holiday and overall impacted our entire week.

CarJet is crooked! We booked 4 cars through there service and had issues with all of them. They charged us $739 for damage to a car that was damaged upon pickup. We have photographic evidence but they still charged. They sent a damage report for another vehicle stating all four wheels were damaged. Nothing of the sort is true. This organization will not keep promises.
