DO NOT USE TIS COMPANY THEY ATE CROOKED If I could give them negative 500 stars I would ! We got to the airport an hour and a half late due to our plane delayed and found our via text our car was cancelled. I called immediately it took over an hour to get ahold of someone who did not speak English to inform us that our car was no longer available but we could have a smaller car for the same price. We booked a 7 passenger suv and we had 6 people including a car seat and bags also he was going to give us a 4 seat car this company is a complete scam they will not return my money I have been emailing them for 2 weeks now and now they are not responding. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

had a booking with you for the 30th April. When i got to KW in Lisbon i paid the amount left i had to pay and when they tried to use the card for the 2450€ deposit i was told the card wasn’t accepted. The lady tried it three times and couldn’t use my card. The refunded the money i had paid there cause it was clearly not my fault and I now ask you to refund the amount of 30.94€ i paid to CarJet for the three day rental i had booked with you. I couldn’t pick up the car and had to reschedule all the plans I had for the weekend which caused me some trouble. I sent you an email regarding this topic, and I have now been waiting for over a month for your reply but haven't heard anything from you. Could you help me, please?

ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!!! If I could give -1 I would. I rented a car from carjet and filled in all the details. It says Bristol airport but it not on the airport car rental area. You must walk for around 10min to get there which you might think it not a lot but with heavy bags it’s a dreadful walk. If the service was good this wouldn’t be such a problem. I arrived to pick up the car and they wouldn’t let me because I was 22. And minimum age is 23. This information was not displayed before renting the vehicle. I called multiple times and they only picked up after 1h after rental. Every time I spoke to them they were speaking in a very arrogant manner. First time I spoke with them they said they were having system problems and couldn’t give me the car yet and I had to wait for no determined time. Second time I called, and after arrival to the rental building, they said they would not give me a refund because it was in very small letters in the terms of conditions and I should have read them. Clearly there is a problem with the sites company. In every other company when you put your date of birth it gives you the options you have or if it’s even possible to rent a car. Sounds like a scam to get money from clients. Never again renting here!

Gearriveerd op Antalya Luchthaven en we werden geconfronteerd dat er geen auto gereserveerd stond op onze naam. Terwijl we bevestigingen hebben en ook deels de betaling hebben gedaan. We hebben een taxi moeten nemen naar onze verblijf en morgen op zoek naar een huurauto bij een andere auto rent car. Door CarJet helaas een slechte start van onze vakantie van maar 1 week.

DO NOT USE! Unless CarJet can explain why I have not been CONNED by them then PLEASE DON’T TRUST THEM! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DON’T USE THIS COMPANY it could ruin your holiday and may even be fraudulent. I think it is owned by Do You Spain. I booked a car through them for Crete. Voucher said an agent from Carplus Rent would meet us at the airport last night. They did not arrive. We waited over an hour and a half - none of the rental companies at the airport had even heard of them. We eventually had to get a taxi to our resort as we had no alternative at that time of night and it cost us nearly 100 euros. NOW THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW - the number they give to contact Carplus does not work and there is no website for Carplus. And the only way you can contact Carjet (puts you through to Do You Spain) is by phone as you will notice they don’t give an e mail address on their site. I WAITED AN HOUR for someone to answer. They said they could not get hold of Carplus and told me to re-book!!! I asked for the agent to send me contact details for Carplus but all he sent me was my e mail address, my voucher number and the website of Carjet! To get a car on Crete last minute will now cost about 3 times the going rate. It’s outrageous if not fraudulent and frankly I don’t think they care. Read the rest of the reviews on this site and the real reviews on Trustpilot ie. not the “invited” reviews which are controlled by Carjet and amazingly are all positive only positive!!! If CarJet or Do You Spain actually read this site maybe they would care to contact me and explain why this is not fraudulent and refund my money and expenses. For their reference my booking number is CJT-38760518. Keep an eye on if they reply. Until then do yourself a massive favour and use another company.

First time booking with this company. Seemed OK. Was emailed saying I needed a £200 cash deposit to which I phoned and asked would my visa be OK. Was told yes not a problem. When I arrived I wasn't able to use my visa and it was a £1000 credit card deposit I needed instead. Which I didn't have on me. So I have to cancel jetcars insurance then pay for the hire company's one. Paid £137 carjet also £149 for company plus deposit. I was mis sold information. In the end I never took the car. Got all my money back from budget car rental with no problems. I asked for a refund from carjet but now I'm not hearing anything back form them. I sent them the email regarding the £200 cash deposit they sent me. Also I sent them the receipts to show I never took the car and budget car rentals refund. I have emailed and phoned now I'm getting my phone calls declined. Very professional. I would advise not to use this company.

READ MY STORY! NEVER EVER RENT W/ CARJET. The costs appeared to be TWICE as much as the low prices they entice you with. I used my creditcard to pay my deposit. It didn't accept my code, 3x. No other way of payement. I said I'll be back tomorrow, since I already payed for it. I had to take the metro, bus, use face-masks, a lot of annoyance and a lost vacation day. I called home and my bank (they said I entered the right code, but "annulated by merchant"!!) and tried different things. Came back next day. No car, no other car, however I told it was their fault. No mercy, no help, no money back. I had to travel more days by metro/bus and eventually I had to pay evth again, but went to another Car-rental. That went perfectly. They lied, they cheated, they didn't offer any help. USE YOUR MONEY WISE. THIS KIND OF CHEAP COST YOU A LOT MORE THAN A RELIABLE COMPANY!!

Booked and paid online, went to collect car at Heathrow, when we got there the office person said we needed to pay over £400 more for the insurance but I explained that in the email confirmation the insurance was already included. Cancelled there and then and we didn't go ahead and they now will not refund us even if we didn't take the rental car. Crazy dishonest people, do not use!

We fully paid for our car in advance, so when we arrived into Norway we’d be all set, especially due to impending snowstorm. When we got there, held up at customs for an hour, thrifty/hertz that car jet “brokered” with, said they didn’t have any cars available. Since there was a large snow storm, there was only one other rental car company that had a car available at 4 times the price, due to last ,the last reservation. We have been dealing with Hertz/ Thrifty and Car jet since December on this. Hertz & Thrifty say they refunded our $900 to Car Jet, however Car Jet will not release our money. Literally left us stranded in a snow storm in a foreign country and every time we call Car Jet to attempt to get it resolved, some woman screams at us. Sometimes they tell us it’s been refunded and will call right back, sometimes they say they can’t find our reservation, sometimes they say we must not have shown up, etc….do NOT use this company and certainly DO NOT pay in advance!

It was my first experience with them and terrible experience. I suppose to pickup the car from Casablanca airport and my flight was delayed two hours I contacted the local office directly before my flight and they didn’t pickup. When I arrived I had to wait front the office for 2 hours for someone to come and talk to me . After they come the said they don’t have the car I have booked and I been forced to take another sheep one falling apart has no AC and they promised me to come back after 2 days to exchange it . When I call them for exchange they said they don’t have no car available. I contacted the car jet service customer they emailed back sorry we can’t do nothing because u was light one hour after the pick up time . My advice to everyone don’t even book with them .

This company should be taken to court as I paid a deposit for the car to be picked up and they stated it wasn't available and needed to upgrade which would have cost me another 220 pounds for the week. Everyone that has been scammed should build a case and take them to court together. Useless and they don't answer the phone ever.

This is car jet faro Portugal infact hire the car in 2019 they have sent me toll to pay now after 4 yrs very difficult to locate the documents this shows how careless they are no support as to whatsoever I have email so many but no help this company is try to take money and when it's return deposit it makes fuss never use this company at all and be aware

Don't book through CarJet, I've been waiting months for my money! What happened? I booked a rental car through CarJet in Morocco. When I arrived at the airport, the car rental company did not have a working card device. They then wanted to offer me a car through another company. The whole thing took place in a parking lot and was super dubious. But that's not the point. Since the car rental company didn't have a working card reader, they couldn't give me a rental car. I was understanding and simply booked a rental car via Check24. Even though it was much more expensive, at least everything went smoothly here. However, I had already paid €140 via CarJet. I then contacted CarJet and explained the situation. It is quite clear to me that the car rental company was unable to deliver the promised service and that I should get my money back. I would have taken any car, but they couldn't offer me another car for at least 2 days. Now I have been waiting for my deposit for weeks. CarJet can only be reached by phone in Spain, so I had to pay extra money for a phone call to CarJet. They no longer reply to my emails. Better pay 20% more at Check24 and know that you won't be scammed. Hands off CarJet!

I am still waiting for a refund of £249 since August this year. I keep being fobbed off with a response ....."the colleague at the collection point has confirmed the information"!. I got a taxi to the collection office of Sixt in Milton Keynes. I had already paid the £249 to collect a car. I had organised and was prepared to complete the transaction with a deposit on collection. I was informed by the "Sixt" colleague that there was not vehicle for me to collect. And I asked "how does that work?, I've already booked and paid"!. The colleague informed me tgat they have this problem with "Carjet" alot as they don't update the system often enough to be current. I explained to.the colleague that I needed a car!!! The only option I was given was to hire a car from......him/colleague aka Sixt!!!. I explained I can't let the first £249 go and hire from you and pay s deposit ontop after booking and paying for a car to collect. The 1st excuse was.....you cancelled the order after the collection time. OF COURSE I DID!!! THERE WAS NOT A CAR FOR ME TO COLLECT!!! Next excuse was.....I "apparently " didn't have the deposit needed to complete. I didn't get that far because.....the car was not there for collection. Multiple emails with each one, a stranger answering, asking "what is the problem or how can I help!? Are these people fools??? Months....this is going on and still they're acting like they have no idea what I'm talking about!!!! Professionalism to the core!!! All this time and many requests to speak.to a person. Absolutely nothing!!!!! Do not use these people ever!!!! I want my money back from a service which was promised and never produced!! Disgraceful and insulting!! This company should be shut down. Give me my money back!!!!! You robbing gits!!

NEVER AGAIN !!! For a trip from Australia to Germany on September 21, 2023, I was looking for a full-size car using the CarJet portal according to the following criteria: Large enough for 3 large suitcases, 2 carry-on and hand luggage Comfortable because of our back problems Pick up and drop off at Frankfurt Airport Terminal 2 as we land and depart there. I was then offered a Ford Mondeo SW 5 from wheego for the period from October 11th to November 29th, 2023. This company advertises with offices in Terminal 1 AND 2. When we arrived in Frankfurt, we couldn't find a wheego office in Terminal 2. After researching, we found out that this office only exists in Terminal 1. We now had to make our way to Terminal 1 with our heavy and extensive luggage, confronted with a train, closed escalators and broken elevators. This was very tedious and took a lot of time. No wheego company could be found in the rental car area in Terminal 1. It was then explained to us that this was on a different level between all different businesses. Another tedious journey to the office as there were only 2 elevators to this level, one of which was broken and the other one was difficult to find and access. When we finally arrived we were told that they could give us a Peugeot 2, a SMALL CAR. When we pointed this out and presented our booking, it was explained that wheego had and never had no vehicles in the booked class. We pointed out that our booking was dated September 21st and they should have informed CarJet of the absence of this class. People weren't very interested in that and after loud discussions and almost 2 hours late, they "generously" gave us a VW T-Cross, also a small car. With great difficulty we stowed away our luggage and were finally able to leave. We were in a hurry because we had to go to the dock of our river cruise ship in Cologne the next day. That was about 300 KM with 2 friends (i.e. 4 people) and luggage. Very uncomfortable and tiring because some of the luggage had to be distributed on the seats and in the footwell. The chassis of the small car was anything but comfortable. The tire pressure indicator came on the very next day. The oil level sensor also signaled. The tire pressure was completely messed up, the engine oil level was at the absolute lowest level. I had to correct both because we had to drive to Cologne the following day. Since according to EU guidelines, vehicles should be equipped with winter tires from October 1st and this is also expressly confirmed in the rental agreement with wheego, I asked to be informed which tires are on the vehicle and, if necessary, to exchange them. There was no reaction to that. Immediately after the boat trip, I complained in writing to wheego and CarJet, especially since a wheego employee assured me during the handover that he would take care of the matter and also ensure that the price was adjusted. Nothing has happened until today. My various emails, setting a deadline. have not even been answered. For this reason, I would like to warn the public against entering into contracts with these two companies. My personal opinion is that cheating was intentional. The booking was accepted for a vehicle class that was not and never available. Pick-up was offered in Terminal 2 (Frankfurt), although there has NEVER been a wheego office there (statement wheego Frankfurt Airport). There's only one thing to do: KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF!!

I am not happy. I picked up the car yesterday from Gatwick. The Drivila office told me that it was better to pay their everyday cover instead of 1500 held on the credit card as i would have to challenge Carjet legally to claim back any money, should i have an accident etc... He told me that it was impossible to claim back money. And it would be better if pay Drivila 380 pounds to cover my 10 days and then any issues or damage would be written off and no issue.... How can this be? So I paid 360 pounds with Carjet, then another 380 pounds to Drivila as i was told that Carjet was not worth claiming against should anything go wrong. I feel i have been tricked and conned, legally of course as i am not an insurance expert..... It is misleading and quite wrong..... Also, impossible to contact anyone at Carjet, Drivila etc..... It is agent upon agent, not clear and i am now 700 pounds to the bad. When i assumed, stupidily it was a good deal at 380 pounds.... I am not rich and not looking for anything but fairness. Thank you for listening to my sad story.

NEVER RENT AT CARJET.COM…THIS IS A MAFIA GROUP I rent it new car and the agency CARANDGO RENT A CAR propose me very old small car ..23 year old without AC… They told me i can cancel for free and after cancelling they took they money from my credit card . Now they refuse to pay back. Always same game with rental cars company . Carandgo said contact carjet and carjet say contact carandgo. Never book at carjet!
