Total scam merchants do not believe ratings on trust pilot! I ordered a car the day after my mother died. In my panic I left my licence 20 miles away but had a copy. I offered to go and get it but they cancelled my booking. No refund at all and even if I had managed to hire 1 they take 1500 deposit and you only get it back 6 weeks later. You cannot ring them as they are in Spain, Avoid at all costs!So many complaints.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY Trying to charge £1500 to a credit card as insurance! Who has a spare £1500 these days then refusing to refund my money when I wanted to cancel booking. Also based in Spain…, hung up on me! Disgusting.

They are bunch of crooks who have no customer care. I booked a car at Tirana airport and later on when I tried to update the flight details they do not let me do that. When we got to Tirana airport the local car company asked me for €151.00 more because they had only bigger cars. I refused to pay and next day I booked another car. Car jet refused to give me refund even when I booked another car through them for next day. Later on I found that the company they booked my car is known for doing that to customers. Batter not use car jet.

I booked online and paid UK£104.41 for a car at Naples airport. Money was taken from my bank but did not receive any voucher to collect the car. Left without a car. Total disrespect for customers. All hassle and no joy. I have now hired a car from Maggiore NAC and very happy with the service I received from them. Would I be asking too much to get a refund please.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. We have arrived at midnight in prague and the offices were closed. Noone was answering their phone, no refund of money paid issued, absolutely shocking. Will never ever use again! Avoid this company at all costs.

rented a car for the 23 of Dec to be picked up from Larnaca airport . I provided my approximate arrival time. As I arrived I waited me and family members at the requested place for about half a hour but the shuttle didn't come to pick us up. I phoned them several times but no body answered the phone. I took a Taxi to the office and to my surprise the office was closed. I returned to the airport and rented another car from another company but have to pay mor than double since it's much More expensive to make a booking directly.next day I sent an email to Car jet. All what I got were More questions about the incidence

One star is to much. Biggest thiefs!!! They don't react on e-mail messages. They work together with the worst car companies in the world. One of them is ACTION. This is the worst car rental company telling me I'm not giving you a car from 2023. "when you have an accident". : EXCUSE ME!!!!! STUDIP MAN!!! He wanted to have me pay all kind of extra costs, didn't believe me whenI said I already have insurance. Keep your stupid car from 2023. I have my own car from 2023. I have been driving accident free for 25 years. I hope YOU HAVE AN ACCIDENT.

I do not recommend this company, we rented a car but due to the plane delay we did not receive it. The gentleman who was supposed to wait for us left and we had to take a taxi to get to the hotel. The next day we went to ask for the car which was paid for in 5 days but were told we wouldn't get it and they wouldn't refund us for the remaining days of the car rental. It's unfair of them. Please be careful with this rental company, it is not worth recommending.

Car jet and green motion. terrible companies, they are worse than a scam they are on the market to take money from your selves. I flying to Lisbon on a flight arriving at 8 pm, I was notified before leaving Dublin that the close hour was at 8 pm, but if I agreed to pay more than 50 euros there would be someone waiting for me just call when I arrive to Lisbon, is what I did but when I arrived there try servel times all the numbers I could find for green motion, no one answer at the other side after 2 waiting call car jet no one answer as well. Result in looked for a different car rental company, The next day presented my complaint to car jet, and they called me a liar, saying was someone waiting for me, but no proof that I had lots of tried calls and messages. SO IF YOU DONT WANT YOUR HOLIDAYS RUIN NEVER EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS 2 COMPANIES' car jet and green motion, for the one who do business with them good luck you will need for sure!!!!!!!

Hired a car though carjet on the 16 October in Inverness airport their has been 2 payments out of my account 161 carjet and 271 europcar which is 430 euros which should have have cost 140 for 5 days this is unacceptable

While the pricing may initially seem reasonable, the challenge lies in obtaining any form of reimbursement from this service provider. I decided to cancel my car reservation just an hour after booking, yet even after a week, I have not received a refund. Despite my daily calls to their customer service, I only receive a generic response instructing me to wait, with no indication of how long the process will take or how to expedite the resolution. Upon seeking guidance on potential solutions, I was advised to contact Avis and obtain a confirmation email for the cancellation. Despite following this suggestion, the service provider refused to acknowledge it. Each person I spoke to seemed unable to assist me. If this trend continues, I might as well take £500 and toss it in the street the next time I rent a car, opting to book directly at the AVIS counter for a similar experience to Carjet. Ultimately, I had to drive to the airport and book a car directly from the counter. The only positive aspect of this experience is that they do provide a customer service phone number

Avoid Car jet and Green Motion. They stole my money and ruined part of my holiday. On booking the car, it all looked professional and straightforward. They then send a link wanting a review, which is how they have a few stars on other sights. I paid for 16 days car hire, plus insurance, plus the excess waiver insurance. On arrival, after 35 hours of travel from Australia to London, I arrived at the care hire place. They had stated that pick up and drop off was at Heathrow Airport. They lied. It's a £25 taxi ride away. I gave them all my documents but I didn't have a credit card, only a debit card. That wasn't mentioned during booking, neither was it said that I would need to put down an additional £1'500 deposit. A much later email stated it, by which time I was of the understanding that all was finalised and sorted with booking the car, therefore didn't think to be looking for another email from them. Then I was off on my trip. That's how they cover themselves. They wouldn't give me the car I'd paid for and refused to refund any part of my rental. They then said that if I wanted to use my debit card, I would need to pay an additional £400 for THEIR insurance, as Car Jet had used a random company that wasn't even connected to the car hire place. WHY? Another scam. I was desperate for the car, as so much of my trip was reliant on one, so I agreed to pay the extra money. They then said that their machine wouldn't accept my debit card and basically that I would not be getting a cent of my money back! By this stage, I'd witnessed numerous angry customers who were also denied their cars and were facing similar issues. People yelling and storming out. Not one satisfied customer. I'm amazed that these thieves are still in business. I've emailed and been dealt with rudely, then completely ignored. I called (from the Green Motion office phone, which is why I got through) and was yelled at by the so called customer support person. No more professionalism, like the booking process, just very rude responses and zero cares given. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!

THEY ARE A SCAM!!!!! I RENTED A CAR FOR 750$ AND I WAS DEBITED AND RECEIVED NO CAR!!! I HAVE BEEN SENDING THEM FOR A MONTH AND NOONE IS RESPONDING!

AVOID AVOID AVOID! I rented in Funchal on 1st December for 11 days - great price! I had a confirmation email to say that €1500 would be blocked on my card for the term of the hire - despite another part of the T & C’s saying with the premier insurance, this would not be needed. The email also stated ‘NO MONEY WILL BE TAKEN’. Arriving at the airport in Funchal, I and another couple of customers were looking for their office - but they use ‘Magic Island LDA’ car hire - there is no office, no name/poster anywhere - despite being told by the office it was there. I asked a number of airport employees and other people around but nobody had ever heard of ‘Magic Island’ - after half an hour or so I saw a guy wandering around with a fleece on with ‘Magic Island’ printed on it - they basically work from the back of a car/van. He had the car/paperwork - all was fine - then the €1500 - I was assured it was needed and would only be blocked on my card - so I agreed and this was processed. The money sat pending, which I thought was fine and I didn’t think anymore about it. I returned the car on 11/12 as arranged, all was fine, no damage, return slip said OK and the guy said the €1500 would be released. When I got home I checked my card only to find that the €1500 had not been blocked - but payment taken on the first day of hire - 1/12. I checked on Tuesday 12/12 and Wednesday 13/12 but no refund. On Wednesday evening on 13/12 I called the CarJet office and spoke to a helpful (I thought) lady who said I needed to provide proof that payment had been taken, she emailed me to give me the email to reply to her with proof. I did this but got no response back. I rang again on Friday 15/12 as still no refund. I spoke to another lady who said I hadn’t replied to the initial email and so emailed me and told me to send in proof. I sent it again, but then called her to check she had it. No email. After 2 more attempts, she still had nothing. Realising there may be an issue with attachments, I removed the proof attachment and the email went through - great - but I still need to provide proof! So - clearly their computer system appears to block attachments - so how do I send proof if their system will not allow it?????? As it stands I feel I have been ripped off for €1500 and nobody seems bothered to investigate it unless I prove it - but I can’t send proof as their system rejects attachments! I have spoken with my card provider and they will take up the complaint - I have also told CarJet I will report this as fraud. At the very least, this is very sharp practise, and even if an error - no-one is bothering to help me - they just want me off the phone ASAP - it is like dealing with a call centre in the UK! This is a very disappointing end to what was a great service!

Rubbish service, no car on arrival and still no.refund since August. They're yrying to find everything they can to refuse the refund. Changing reasons each time but non of them make sense. Do not trust this service. Its a con.

Scammers!!! Total joke who turn up with a rubbish car that's nothing like you ordered and won't give you back your deposit!! Do not under any circumstances hire a car from this fraudulent company!!

Scammer company. They have a plenty of special terms that won't let you get a car but pay for it(eg only specific cards are accepted, cant ammend booking if flight cancelled etc) SHOULD AVOID THEM IN ANY WAY
