So the next day I went to email them, but had seen that they had already emailed me apologising that they had no cars available and that they had refunded my £161 .....2 weeks later I'm still waiting for it to ping into my account

Booked a car for £101 through the Carjet website for the same day. Carjet accepted my order to hire the car for a total of 3 days.
Got to the garage, and they had no available vehicles and it was not made clear that they did.
I was forced to cancel and they only gave me a partial refund of 24£.
Disgusting company should be avoided”

“Dishonest customer service! They lie about location and then blame the customer. I wanted an airport site car rental at Vienna Airport as I was short of time and happy to pay more for the convenience. I used Carjet and selected Green Motion which they said was on site at the airport. This was NOT the case. When I complained to Carjet they lied and said they accurately stated the location was in another location (Fischamend) but I have the email from Carjet saying the Green Motion office is INSIDE the terminal, through the baggage claim and next to Burger King! So they outright lied. It also took them several days to reply to my customer service request. They are unprofessional and untrustworthy. Green Motion were excellent to deal with and great value. I will be going to them direct next time (despite them being off site) but I will NEVER use Carjet again!”

Sharp practice on insurance and now being pursued for a penalty relating to information at pickup that they have admitted they did not record (I drove over the border into Rep of Ireland which I declared) but they did not record. Drivalia vehicle was not roadworthy - tyre pressure in both front tyres was 25 (should be 33!!!!!). Mechanical errors displayed.”

I recently booked a car rental service through the CarJet website for my trip from Istanbul Airport from April 19, 2024, to May 3, 2024. I had reserved a Peugeot 2008 through the 7/24 car rental company, but upon arrival, I was informed that they could not provide the Peugeot 2008 as booked and instead offered me a Dacia Duster.
Despite finishing my work early in Istanbul and returning the car on April 22, 2024, the 7/24 car rental company has refused to provide a refund for the service that was not delivered as agreed upon. This lack of accountability and failure to honor their commitment feels like a clear case of dishonesty and deception.
Furthermore, my attempts to contact CarJet for assistance in resolving this issue have been met with significant challenges and have been ultimately unsuccessful, leaving me feeling abandoned as a customer in need of support.
In conclusion, my experience with the 7/24 car rental service arranged through CarJet has been extremely disappointing and frustrating. The refusal to refund the amount for the unfulfilled service raises serious concerns about their business practices and integrity. I would caution others against using this service and recommend seeking alternative options to avoid similar issues and potential financial loss.”

“I rented a car, last february and paid a deposit of €312,-. I delivered the car on time and without any damage at the airport. There were 2 guys who checked the car and said it was fine. after that they told me i would recieve my deposit back within maximum of 30 days. After that period I started asking when I recieve my deposit back. Since then they kept me on a line, telling me they have to ckeck it out, not responing at all and after 20 emails they claim that I made damage to the car, with a picture of date and time and that i signed for check out. i never signed for check out and my signature has been copy pasted by them, which is fraud. Online there are a lot of complaints about Carjet.”
“Booked and paid online, went to collect car at Heathrow, when we got there the office person said we needed to pay over £400 more for the insurance but I explained that in the email confirmation the insurance was already included. Cancelled there and then and we didn't go ahead and they now will not refund us even if we didn't take the rental car. Crazy dishonest people, do not use!”

“We fully paid for our car in advance, so when we arrived into Norway we’d be all set, especially due to impending snowstorm. When we got there, held up at customs for an hour, thrifty/hertz that car jet “brokered” with, said they didn’t have any cars available. Since there was a large snow storm, there was only one other rental car company that had a car available at 4 times the price, due to last ,the last reservation. We have been dealing with Hertz/ Thrifty and Car jet since December on this. Hertz & Thrifty say they refunded our $900 to Car Jet, however Car Jet will not release our money. Literally left us stranded in a snow storm in a foreign country and every time we call Car Jet to attempt to get it resolved, some woman screams at us. Sometimes they tell us it’s been refunded and will call right back, sometimes they say they can’t find our reservation, sometimes they say we must not have shown up, etc….do NOT use this company and certainly DO NOT pay in advance!”
