Sells insurance as complete, which car rental companies do not accept (e.g. OK Mobility Zakyntos), requesting the conclusion of other additional insurance or the payment of a guarantee twice as high as the one mentioned in the contract by CarJet (1900 euros instead of 1000). Do not conclude insurance on the CarJet platform, but at the car rental company! Non-existent customer service, the amounts paid for unnecessary insurance are not reimbursed, you are practically paying two insurances for the same car.

I booked a car in dubai via carjet , but the car wasn't the one I was expecting, and I didnt collect any car, they charged my card for one month and they said its nonrefundable....stay away of this company very very be careful

DO NOT BOOK HERE!!! Total ripp off. We arrived 25 minutes after estimated arrival time. They wouldn’t give us the car (we already paid for) because of that. That was it. A ln elderly couple in front of us had the same problem, and if they would pay €800 extra (on the already paid €400) they could get a car. Rude staff, customer service out of reach. Unbelievable. This is not how you treat people.

Car jet charged me for higher category car and when I went to get my car at green motion car rental at Sabiha airport Istanbul, they gave me lower category car and even charged me extra to upgrade but still didn’t get the the car I was charged as per the picture or the same category by Carjet. My rental period was for 15 days and had very bad experience with these guys. Never will recommend to anyone.

To be avoided. They confirm that you can use debit card to rent a car by all the channels. Then, when you arrive at the rental company to get the car, you need a credit card and there is no way car jet refunds what you paid.

CarJet does business with fraudulent companies. I rented a car through CarJet in Fethiye, and the credit card I used to pay CarJet for the reservation was not accepted by the rental company. They simply left us stranded. CarJet is unreachable by phone, and calling from abroad cost me an extra €30. Now I want to request a refund of my deposit, but CarJet is being difficult and still unreachable. When I send an email explaining the situation, they don’t read it properly and just reply with a reference to their terms and conditions, stating that the credit card must be in the name of the driver. You don’t just get a Eurocard MasterCard Gold easily, and I used my credit card just before the rental (at the airport) and again in the evening without any issues. What a TERRIBLE company.

CarJet is the worst company I ever met. We called him on the airport on 10 o clock, we book the car for 10 o clock and then there was no car available. He said that we have to wait for 4 hours. After this we called many times but he ignore us a lot.

Booking Ref: CJT­179972817 I booked a car with CarJet for 09/07/2025 but never received the check code to collect it. Their staff promised a refund after escalation to a manager, but over 4 weeks later I’ve had no response and no refund. Terrible communication and zero accountability. I will be escalating this through my bank and consumer authorities. Very disappointing experience. Avoid this company!!!!

Because our flight had 1 hour delay Because our flight had 1 hour delay, the car i booked at Sixt car rentals through Carjet we arrived 1.15 hour later than the pickup time. The car was already rented out to someone else, my booking was cancelled and i didnt get my downpayment of 80 euro returned. This wasn`t in the general conditions from Sixt i got from Carjet. When i called Carjet, they said they couldn`t do anything for me. In an e-mail reply they advised me to put a claim at the airline company. For me no more Carjet

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID - DO NOT USE!!!!! BOOKING - CJT-185494677. Booked a hire car as my car had broke down and needed a car to go away in. I booked it on a Thursday evening to collect the Friday morning, I received a phone call from the hire company just as I was about to go and collect the car informing me that they could not provide me with a car as they didn't have any available. I have been unable to get a refund from CarJet who had taken ÂŁ115 from my account. Their customer service is non existent, if anything goes wrong with your booking you'll be unable to get through to anyone to resolve it.

I recently rented a car through CarJet with GoldCar at their Prishtina Airport location, and it turned out to be one of the most frustrating rental experiences I’ve ever had. Before my trip, I paid in full and even purchased additional insurance twice after receiving an email urging me to do so. I wanted to be fully protected and avoid the kind of issues I had read about in other reviews. Unfortunately, those same problems happened to me. At pickup, I clearly informed the staff that I planned to drive to Albania, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Greece. They casually mentioned a €59.95 cross-border fee. When I asked if I could just pay fees at the borders myself, they said nothing more — no explanation, no warning, and absolutely no mention of required documents like Green Cards or travel restrictions. Due to this lack of transparency, I ended up paying €50 to enter North Macedonia and €200 at the Greece border — completely out of pocket. These costs could have easily been avoided had I been properly informed. To make matters worse: I was given a smaller car than the one I reserved I returned the vehicle in perfect condition and with a full tank I was still accused of causing damage that never happened And then I was charged an additional €200 for "violating cross-border rules" that were never explained This entire experience felt like a trap designed to hit customers with extra charges after the booking is made. It’s dishonest, misleading, and completely unacceptable. Please, read at least a few reviews on Google before booking with GoldCar or CarJet. Don’t assume they’re the best and won’t cause any problems. I have rented hundreds of cars in the US and other countries without issue, and I’ve rented in Kosovo in previous years as well. This was by far the worst experience I’ve had. Travelers: be very cautious when booking with CarJet or renting from GoldCar. What seems like a good deal upfront can quickly become a nightmare. Honestly, you'd be better off taking taxis or using public transport than letting these companies ruin your trip with surprise fees and shady practices. I will never rent from them again — and I strongly recommend others stay away too.

If I could give less I would. I had a terrible experience with CarJet. After booking, I noticed I had made a small typo in my email and immediately contacted customer service with screenshots. Despite sending multiple emails and calling over 20 times, I never received a proper reply – only automated messages. On the day of pick-up in Faro Airport, I had no confirmation, no instructions, and had to walk around asking more than 20 car rental desks until I finally found my booking. On top of that, the insurance I bought via CarJet was not accepted, so I had to pay an extra €94 at the counter plus unexpected fees. This whole process caused unnecessary stress and wasted hours of my time. Extremely unprofessional service – I demand a full refund of the amount I paid to CarJet.

Never rent a car from this company. They didn't accept my official cancelation in their agent office and didn't refund my money. There are two guys in charge of responding emails. They repeat a few meaningless sentences to regret for not refunding likke" the agent didn't announce us the cancelation " or " as your rental condition was not satisfied, no refund will be done " . They repeat these sentences in every other email to exhaust you.

Our flight was canceled due to air canada strike. We emailed carjet a few times within 4 days and got no answer back. Then we called there customer service centre and finally go through to some. We told them what was going on and that our flights were canceled and that wr had new dates if they could of changed and extended the car rental dates which we would pay the difference and we were told that no chages would be made and that we had a max of 4hrs from the original time of pick. If we didn't show, up to those 4 hrs our reservation would be canceled. Its hard to belive that they were not willing to accommodate even though we would pay the extra week. This was the first time booking through carjet and moving forward, we will never book using them nor will we recommend them to anyone.

I had made a reservation and even though I had paid, 18 hours before the reservation started, they sent me an email that the payment had not been made. So I was forced to make a new reservation and pay an additional €200. When I saw my bank account the next day, I realized that I had been charged twice and so I was forced to send them an email and a message asking for the cancellation of one of the two reservations, but I did not receive a response. When I arrived at Heraklion airport, the rental company informed me about the cancellation method, but 40 minutes had passed since the original start time, they replied that the reservation could not be canceled. The rental company in Greece informed me that the CARJET had canceled one reservation and that they would only be paid for one reservation. I feel that I was cheated and obviously I would not recommend it to anyone

The communication before and during our car hire was atrocious. Multiple emails were sent before the booking. None were answered. The car we received would be condemned in Australia. We had to pay a substantial amount more to Green Motion to receive a car we thought was acceptable. A very stressful process. There website is set up where zero human interaction occurs so receive a bot that answers in a generic way. Stay clear of this company.
