“It was my first experience with them and terrible experience. I suppose to pickup the car from Casablanca airport and my flight was delayed two hours I contacted the local office directly before my flight and they didn’t pickup. When I arrived I had to wait front the office for 2 hours for someone to come and talk to me . After they come the said they don’t have the car I have booked and I been forced to take another sheep one falling apart has no AC and they promised me to come back after 2 days to exchange it . When I call them for exchange they said they don’t have no car available. I contacted the car jet service customer they emailed back sorry we can’t do nothing because u was light one hour after the pick up time . My advice to everyone don’t even book with them .”
“This company should be taken to court as I paid a deposit for the car to be picked up and they stated it wasn't available and needed to upgrade which would have cost me another 220 pounds for the week.
Everyone that has been scammed should build a case and take them to court together.
Useless and they don't answer the phone ever.”

I've been scammed with this company. I received a voucher for car rental from CarJet, voucher number CJT115142662 . A prepayment was debited from my account. I came to pick up the car, but there were no representatives of the service at the specified location, and the car I rented through CarJet website was not there. I called the support service of company for the first time, the operator said that the car would be there in 5 minutes, after 20 minutes I called again, the operator said that he could not find my reservation and offered me to call the another number I dialed several times but no one answered. I called the company operator again, this time I was told that my reservation was canceled the night before. When asked why, the employee said he didn't know and that they sent me an email yesterday, I checked my inbox and spam, there are no emails canceling the reservation. They do not refund the money that was debited as a prepayment for the car, they do not reply for my claim”
“Avoid this company as much as possible. I booked a car for my trip to Malta and paid the rental fee plus insurance. After making the payment, I received a confirmation voucher with additional charges: 29 euros for airport pick-up, 29 euros for an out-of-office charge, and a fuel policy that seems unreasonable. They provide you with a small Toyota Yaris with only half a tank of fuel, which amounts to around 20 litres, and charge 48 euros for it. While you can return the car with an empty tank, you won't receive a refund for the unused fuel. The Toyota Yaris is a hybrid and typically consumes 3-4 litres per 100km, meaning you would need to drive 400-500km to use up that fuel, which is already overcharged (20 litres should cost around 24 euros in Malta, but I was charged double). Additionally, I later discovered that if you receive a speeding fine, you're required to pay the fine plus a 70 euros fee (but why the extra fee if I've already paid a fee?). Essentially, the car rental appears to cost only 30 euros per week, but you could end up being scammed for an additional 100 euros. Avoid this company. In addition I been told if you are 5 minutes late to return your car you will be charged 70 euros (2.5 times your rental for a week).”

Next day told our car was no longer available … but were charged for it!

First day of holiday ruined having to make phone calls, e mails …further emails and calls during the week to no avail.
Just been told there will be no refund! Now proceeding with a fraud claim because conditions of car rental have not been respected.”

“Don't book through CarJet, I've been waiting months for my money!
What happened? I booked a rental car through CarJet in Morocco. When I arrived at the airport, the car rental company did not have a working card device. They then wanted to offer me a car through another company. The whole thing took place in a parking lot and was super dubious. But that's not the point.
Since the car rental company didn't have a working card reader, they couldn't give me a rental car. I was understanding and simply booked a rental car via Check24. Even though it was much more expensive, at least everything went smoothly here.
However, I had already paid €140 via CarJet. I then contacted CarJet and explained the situation. It is quite clear to me that the car rental company was unable to deliver the promised service and that I should get my money back. I would have taken any car, but they couldn't offer me another car for at least 2 days.
Now I have been waiting for my deposit for weeks. CarJet can only be reached by phone in Spain, so I had to pay extra money for a phone call to CarJet. They no longer reply to my emails.
Better pay 20% more at Check24 and know that you won't be scammed. Hands off CarJet!”
“Charged us with a very high no show fee, even though we called them as per instruction on website, and notified about flight delay from AM To PM hours days before arrival. We ended up paying eur 170 fore rent and eur 160 for no show fee the same day... A very big fraud, they just make money on tourists”
“Very unsatisfied. We booked car with carjet. later flight was changed and we have informed them as per instruction provided on booking confirmation. Once arrived in airport , booking was canceled and there was noone to explain and clarify. We tried to call cuatomer service and no reply. Trains were not working due to strike. Agent/okmobility told that We had to pay 160 eur in addition to get a car. Agent explanation was that carjet is not good company and they have troubles with them.”
“I reserved the car online with full coverage insurance. When I arrived at Toronto airport, I was charged $142 extra and the explanation was because I booked online. In addition, I was charged $749 for deposit while I paid for full coverage. Now, I found out that the deposit is not going to be returned. The company is scam. And there is no one to contact. “Car Jet offered vehicles for hire at a good rate. However, when I responded on 8/3 (Hyundai Staria from Europcar in Bloemfontein 18/3 - 27/3) my payment was declined. The apparent reason being that no vehicle was available. Car Jet itself calls it an offer. Legally if an offer is accepted (as I did) a contract is formed. Majel Wessels.”
“Wheego (Carjet's partner in Germany) refused to accept my Malaysian ID (even though it was in the terms, ID or Passport)

Offered to change driver - was told to contact Carjet directly, tried 3 calls, no one picked up.
Took the exact same documents downstairs to Hertz and got a car rented immediately.
It occurred on: 22/01/2024, zero response from Carjet's staff.

This meant that Had to cancel booking and rent with Hertz. I want my refund for carjet's failure to honour contractual terms. Its been more than 1 month and Carjet has refused to respond.”

This is a scam company. I booked a car with them and when I went to pick it up in Spain, I had a series of unpleasant surprises: 1. they asked me for €50 extra in cash to give me the car, in addition to the €1,600 deposit from my credit card 2. they didn’t have the car I ordered and I not talking the same brand, they didn’t have the same catergory eg medium size, automatic. The attitude was a bit “take it or leave, it is not refundable anyway so do whatever you want. When I tried to get in touch with the company, I had to wait for ages and twice when I explained the situation to the girls in the call center they simply hang up on me. I have never in my whole life experience anything like that. It was shockingly terrible.”
