DO NOT BOOK AT NIGHT TIME .we booked through carjet for 10pm at Birmingham airport which was accepted ,we was delayed we arrived at the office 10.30 , there was a note on the door saying they was in the carpark after 6 phonecalls & 45mins waitiing we realised we was stranded & every other car rental shut .No one called us or email us which they had & we was NOT informed of them closing at 10pm.This booking should never have been accepted but they gain £136.00 And we was told it was our fault No customer service what so ever

They most un relabel un trusted company had to deal in my whole life.attracting fools with low price & fancy promises …never deliver & 24/7 customer service it’s far from true My personal advise do not get yourself in trouble with them…take your business somewhere else

Don’t forget to inform your customers about additional charges during the reservation not on the pick up !!!!! Scam!!!!!!!! CarJet wanted additional 240 pounds for insurance!!!!!

CarJet Very poor company, poor contact, poor service of VanFleet associate companies , I stood at the airport 2h , no contact , no car , no money . do not recommend , wasted my time .. avoid from afar CarJet i VanFleet

i have very bad experience with Carjet booking. If some reason cancel then never got refund deposit . They didn't listen customer problem. They point customer error and ignore for refund deposit if request cancel. I face problem with cancel booking for Lisbon and lost £71 deposit . even i didn't take any car. I did before car hire with many company and they always listen customer but this company didn't listen customer problem

I recently had a car rental booking with Hertz through CarJet at Heathrow Airport on December 15th, 2023. Upon arrival at the airport in the late evening, we were told that due a failed “address check” we were unable to complete our car hire booking. A prepayment of 1,710.19GBP had already been made for a two-week Tesla rental. As advised by staff at the Heathrow location, we were informed that we are eligible for reimbursement and would need to contact CarJet, their third-party agent, directly for the refund process. We arrived at London Heathrow after office-hours and were unable to contact Car Jet that evening, however, after receiving assurances from Hertz that the booking was cancelled that that we would receive a full refund. That night we paid in full for another rental for our two-week stay and made contact with CarJet the following morning. Despite our ongoing efforts and daily communication with CarJet during the course of our stay in London, we have been unable to obtain a refund. It's now seven weeks later. Our attempts to resolve the issue with their customer relations team have been consistently thwarted by frequent and intentional disconnections during our calls. Rude staff, eregreciously fail to follow proper trading practices. We later discovered, as indicated on their website (www.carjet.com), that the customer relations team is based in Spain and operates under at least two separate alias's. I'm writing to say that there is recourse! Yes, it takes time, but I'm fed up of returning to this website, only to see yet another person giving an account of losing money. FIRST: Contact your bank and register the transaction as fraudulent, and name CarJet as the fraudulent company. Most banks with temporarily reimburse the amount owed while they conduct an investigation. SECONDLY: Contact the European Car Rental Conciliation Service (ECRCS) ecrcs@ecrcs.com with a formal complaint that outlines your grievance. Your complaint must be directed to the care hire company that the broker (CarJet) are acting on behalf of. In our case, this was Hertz. There is currently no regulatory body that CarJet falls under, so we found this to be the best way to complain. These companies are just as culpable for using these third party agencies! CarJet have finally responded and we will receive a refund in 3-4 days. However, we are still pursuing a claim for compensation and a call for an investigation into the relationships between global car hire companies and CarJet. They cannot be allowed to continue robbing people with impunity. I encourage everyone on this platform to do as instructed above - believe me, someone will start to take note, if hundreds of us send on our complaints against CarJet. Keep Away from these Pirates. 1) VERY Rude when you call them 2) NOT flexible at all, with badly written instructions on their so called "Contracts" 3) Staff practically laughed me off when a refund was requested. If I had the time and the energy, I would open up a litigation with a European Customer Service Authorityy. But to me it is just not worth the time wasted with this scam-like business. SHAME on them!

Terrible customer experience. I was left in tears at the airport with no car and no refund, trying to speak to someone in Spain. Spend a bit extra and know you’ll get the support and customer care you need!

I have never had such a frightening car hire experience. I booked a car for 23-31 August and paid by debit card. Later, to make sure that I could pay the deposit at the airport with my debit card, I called CarJet customer service. The operator told me that the debit card would also be accepted for the deposit. However, to be on the safe side, I also called the airport car hire company and was told that only credit cards were accepted for the deposit. So I had to arrange to cancel the reservation, which was successful (as confirmed to me by a CarJet email) as it had been made 24 hours before the rental was due to start, and rent another car at the airport without CarJet's assistance. However, my debit card was still charged, so on 25 August (two days later) I contacted CarJet who told me that there were two reservations to cancel because during the booking process, when the flight number was entered on the website, a second reservation was created which also had to be cancelled. Despite the fact that there are still 7 days left until the end of the rental period, the operator informed me that the reservation cannot be cancelled or changed, and that there are no refunds (not even partial). I find this situation borderline fraudulent. I was forced to cancel a reservation due to incorrect information provided by customer service, but the cancellation (no matter how timely) resulted in no compensation due to CarJet's dishonesty and lack of transparency. Very bad experience, I would not recommend them to anyone!

Work with rental companies that are not trustworthy- Goldcar. Charge for insurances than are not recognised for the rental company - so duplication of costs and when having issues with rental company is only my problem, so what for going through this site, just to pay double insurance

Awful experience! Stay away! We queued for over 45min as the people in front of us had issues and then was told we missed our slot and couldn’t get our cars (we had 2 booked) lost our deposit and had to go elsewhere, if we could give a zero star we would.

I wish I had read these experiences earlier, I ordered a car for 17 days and since they have an easy and fast order on the website, I considered it completed by paying and confirming the order. But when we arrived at the Vienna airport, no one was waiting for us, no one answered our emails and no one picked up the phone, I stayed at the airport with my family at 11 at night without a car, the money was still not returned to me...

I am still waiting for a refund of £249 since August this year. I keep being fobbed off with a response ....."the colleague at the collection point has confirmed the information"!. I got a taxi to the collection office of Sixt in Milton Keynes. I had already paid the £249 to collect a car. I had organised and was prepared to complete the transaction with a deposit on collection. I was informed by the "Sixt" colleague that there was not vehicle for me to collect. And I asked "how does that work?, I've already booked and paid"!. The colleague informed me tgat they have this problem with "Carjet" alot as they don't update the system often enough to be current. I explained to.the colleague that I needed a car!!! The only option I was given was to hire a car from......him/colleague aka Sixt!!!. I explained I can't let the first £249 go and hire from you and pay s deposit ontop after booking and paying for a car to collect. The 1st excuse was.....you cancelled the order after the collection time. OF COURSE I DID!!! THERE WAS NOT A CAR FOR ME TO COLLECT!!! Next excuse was.....I "apparently " didn't have the deposit needed to complete. I didn't get that far because.....the car was not there for collection. Multiple emails with each one, a stranger answering, asking "what is the problem or how can I help!? Are these people fools??? Months....this is going on and still they're acting like they have no idea what I'm talking about!!!! Professionalism to the core!!! All this time and many requests to speak.to a person. Absolutely nothing!!!!! Do not use these people ever!!!! I want my money back from a service which was promised and never produced!! Disgraceful and insulting!! This company should be shut down. Give me my money back!!!!! You robbing gits!!

Booked through CarJet and was given a booking with a third party separate company called green motion, called Customer service agent based in Spain as I paid a separate charge for insurance online along with the car rental. Green motion then initiated a separate 400 gbp surcharge plus 80 gbp for "insurance" that isn't actually insurance. I queried this with the agent who spouted some nonsense about terms and conditions, firstly I didn't agree to rent a car from green motion. The agent was rude and aggressive, shouted me down on the phone, didn't want to engage and kept repeating the same line. She then hung up on me while I was talking and made a fool of me in front of the green motion employee. Disgraceful, pathetic money gougers...I will never use either company again and will advise all of my colleagues and the business associates I deal with in the UK and Ireland to do the same.

Its is a total fruad gang. Avoid booking through Carjet. I had booked a car in UK through them. They booked a car via Europe car. My License is valid in UK for 12 months. But Europecar kept asking me IDP ( International permit). Now neither the Europecar not carjet is respnsnding. It means the whole booking amount is swallowed either by Carjet or Europecar. Cancelation is not allowed. The call center girl was refering to some terms and conditions metionned in some corner of the website. Weven their document list dosen't mention IDP. This means somehow they want you to complete the booking by hiding some crucial information. They should not go ahead with the booking if you don't have necessory documents. It requires just a click to confirm on the website. Pls avoid. They are somewhere in Malta. Laws of your any country won't protect you. I wonder, even laws of some allian place Malta will help?

On Christmas Eve we booked a car from Enterprise via Car jet. Our flight ran slightly late and we didn't make the anticipated time of 8 pm but we still were headed for car rental be 9:10pm. Without any warning to us Enterprise closed at 9pm! We were left stranded in a seedy London Heathrow airport at 9pm on Christmas Eve. Worst of all: neither carjet not Enterprise are not willing to return money ($473) for a car we didn't use and to apologise for distress. In fact Car Jets Diaina-somebody told us that it is our fault for not showing up at 8! BUT YOU ADVERTISED THAT ENTERPRISE CLOSES AT 11pm and there was no other different info !!!!!!We used carjet enterprise multiple times, BUT WILL NEVER USE THESE COMPANIES AGAIN! And advice to all of you: please do not use enterprise or carjet-they are a nasty gang of corporate thief's!
