As I am an older Person I tried to cancel myinsurance policy on the day the car was supposed picked up as it was impossible to get in contact with Car Jet. The phone Number is in spain and my mobile would not dial it. I wrote on the "Manage my booking" site but my message would not send. It was so difficult to contact them that I thought if anything would happen it would be too difficult to deal with them. So I took out local insurance through the car hire place that was booked through Car Jet. The people there were great and I felt safe. Then, when I finally emailed Car Jet which was now called "Do you Spain" I got an answer back saying that my email did not match (even though I used it several times to communicate with them), then my booking number was wrong, I gave them all the numbers I had (3 or 4) as a reply but there was no answer and only silence. So they take my money and stall all communication and refund nothing. The booking for the car was good and the car hire place "Everything fleet" was great. Its impossible to contact the company Car Jet once you have booked and the Insurance shoud have been easily refunded for just A$122,-. The change of name is lso very confusing. Its not clear and transparent business and better to pay a little more money and avoid the hassle.

Hele slechte ervaring in Turkije. 3 auto’s gehuurd. Ter plekke konden we niet met creditcard betalen, waren zogenaamd ongeldig wat niet klopt. Waren met 3 kleine kinderen dus hebben toch maar contant betaald. Klacht ingediend via Carjet, na diverse mail over en weer niets opgelost. Bijna 800 euro teveel betaald

Warning: Sixt charged me €241.37 extra at the counter for mandatory insurance, which was not disclosed in my prepaid booking confirmation. I was forced to buy this expensive premium coverage simply because I presented a debit card instead of a credit card, a condition that was never clearly stated upfront. This is a non-transparent and unfair business practice that significantly increased the final rental price.

I booked a car through Carjet (Boy Car Rent a Car, Izmir Airport) for my family holiday — a trip to celebrate my son’s 18th birthday. When we arrived near midnight, no car was available, and the staff were aggressive and disrespectful. We were stranded and forced to spend over £1,000on taxis for the week. Carjet only refunded the booking fee and refused compensation, despite clear evidence. This was a deeply upsetting experience — I hope no other family goes through the same.

I rent car in 2023 in Wrocław. My fligh was delete for about 45 minutes. When we arrived in Wrocław Poland. Nobody was there to provide me with my car. We need to stay whole night at the airport with are 10 years old daughter. When the open office 10 am the informed me my booking is cancel because I didn't pick up the car. The informed me I need to make another booking if I need the car. The informed me the car with I suppose to collect is gone already. I took pictures of all car in parking lot. I didn't have choice and I paid £340 . When I received the car this was one of the car parks in parking lot from night wee arrives in Airport. Zero communication from Car jet. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COWBOYS COMPANY. IF YOU PLANING TO RENT THE CAR RENT DIRECT FROM CAR RENTAL COMPANY NOT AGENT. I WILL NEVER USE CAR JET.

Horrible experience: I ordered a car. I didn't receive a confirmation, but I did receive an email from them with an additional offer. I assumed that they were processing my order. On the day of arrival at the foreign destination, I received a message that the car was not available. The same situation occurred with my friends. Fortunately, at least after a few days they returned the deposit paid.

Absolutely no communication possible with anyone in case of a problem. Cancellation of a car rental due to a problem coming from Carjet (Car not available due to an accident!?) Confirmation email for refund but no refund to date. All attempts at communication remain unanswered. To be absolutely avoided

With booking I booked a rental car from an to the port of Mykonos at a price of TOTAL 111,07 €. This price was also shown on the website (as an total price from and to Mykonos port) before I accepted and payed. On the last page of the voucher I got afterwards, there was a sentence that I did not pay attention to because I paid already an higher price for the handover at the port. Liefer­/Abholservice (Hafen Karpathos und Mykonos): 25 € pro Service und Standort.. To me it looked like the fee is already included in the higher total price. Unfortunately, I had to pay this fee again directly to the car rental company.

Avoid CarJet at all costs! They advertise full coverage but it's a total scam. I ended up paying way more out of pocket. Customer service is a joke – they hung up on me! Don't get ripped off like I did!

A causa di una limitazione bancaria di sicurezza (importo massimo giornaliero), non ho potuto versare la cauzione richiesta di 1400€. Purtroppo avevo già pagato 196.62€. Non ho potuto ritirare l'autovettura e neppure recedere dal contratto. CarJet ha incassato 196.62€ sebbene non abbia erogato alcun servizio. Il servizio clienti di CarJet è completamente robotizzato e dà risposte generiche. Dicono che non è previsto alcun rimborso senza dare alcuna giustificazione. Non esiste un indirizzo mail a cui rivolgersi. Non so neppure se tutto questo sia legale! Diffidate di questa società! Due to a bank security limitation (maximum daily amount), I was unable to pay the required deposit of €1,400. Unfortunately, I had already paid €196.62. I was unable to pick up the car or even withdraw from the contract. CarJet collected €196.62, although it did not provide any service. CarJet's customer service is completely automated and provides generic answers. They say that there is no refund without giving any justification. There is no e-mail address to contact. I don't even know if all of this is legal! Beware of this company!

Schlecht zu finden Flughafen Heraklion, Service möchte nur noch Extra Versicherung abschließen. Und kein Versuch zu helfen. Angeblich Kredit Karte nicht belast Bar, weil Debit Karte. Also nur Versicherung verkaufen obwohl man schon Vollkasko hat. Also nächster Kreta Urlaub ohne Carjet, kann man nicht weiter empfehlen.

Our morning flight was cancelled and we were offered an evening flight 12 hours later. That was April 28th. So we notified CarJet of this and our booking changes, namely CJT-162298561 changed to CJT-171262390. Later on we learned that this would result in the rental of the car being about 300 € more expensive, however we did not know this yet at this very moment. Later that same day (still the 28th of April) at about 19h00 we were informed that our evening flight also got cancelled. After a long and difficult phone call, we managed to arrange our flight out of Amsterdam the following day. So we notified CarJet once more, and our booking was finally changed to CJT-171482911. This had apparently added another 150 € to our rental of the car, something which we had still not been made aware of. In fact, we would only learn of the added charges once we’d returned home after our trip. Compared to the initial booking, we picked up the car 2h30 later with an extra cost of 450 €. In fact at that time we were even not aware that we had to pay more for a shorter renting time as we had other problems; namely to get to Dublin … Original contract = CJT-162298561 : mentioned deposit of 183,88 € + at location 1.318,08 € → pick-up time 12h00 Second contract = CJT-171262390 : mentioned deposit of 204,32 € + at location 1.602,12 € → pick-up time 22h45 Third contract = CJT-171482911 : mentions no deposit + at location 1.766,36 € → pick-up time 14h30 We finally paid 183,88 € (to CarJet as a deposit on the 21th of Jan 2025) + 2.122,95 (to Sixt at location / invoice) = 2.306,83 € Based on the initial contract we should have paid : 183,88 € + 1.318,08 € + 69,00 € (extra driver) = 1.570,96 € → which is a difference of 735,87 € Firstly I do not believe that a change in pick-up time on the same day justifies an increase of 448,28 €, secondly insurance was charged twice, and not once. This is not even mentioning that the change in pick-up time was caused by something beyond our control. If we start from your third contract CJT-171482911: we should have to pay at location 1.766,36 € + 69,00 € (second driver) + 183,88 € (which we’d already paid as a deposit) = 2.019,24 €. We did finally pay 2.306,83 €. (invoice + deposit). This amounts to a difference of 287,59 € which is exactly 253,40 € +13,50% VAT → there can be no discussion at all that the insurance was calculated twice.

We rented a car in Albania through Carjet because we had good reviews. It was the worst choice. We drove a completely broken car with no low or high beams, and only low beam on the left side. The clutch is stuck... Not to mention the condition of the car... We've sent several emails, always with no response...

Rented a van in Malta. When we got there the offices were closed despite paying extra for night pick up. Called them the next day. Rental didn't have a van available and therefore cancelled our booking. This was in mid August. Up till now no one from car jet has even acknowledged our request for a refund despite multiple emails and phone calls to Spain where there support office is.

No customer service . I was left stranded and the insurance they sold me was not recognized by the hire company . I had to buy their insurance . Asked for a refund . After 3 wks they said no . Terrible company . Don’t be fooled by these prices . When you pick up the car you end up paying twice as much .

Sells insurance as complete, which car rental companies do not accept (e.g. OK Mobility Zakyntos), requesting the conclusion of other additional insurance or the payment of a guarantee twice as high as the one mentioned in the contract by CarJet (1900 euros instead of 1000). Do not conclude insurance on the CarJet platform, but at the car rental company! Non-existent customer service, the amounts paid for unnecessary insurance are not reimbursed, you are practically paying two insurances for the same car.
