i ordered chocolate for a gift… specifically asked for ice to be add to packing- only like 104 in texas and hot everywhere else . so never got to give that gift and the chocolate was melted all over. maybe chocolate is good.. don’t know.

I am very disappointed with my experience with Carrolls. After traveling to Ireland and enjoying your store I wanted to get some additional items once home. My first order went well. My next order led to a disappointing chain of back and forth. 1- ordered 2 sweatshirts and a toddler shirt- the toddler shirt was not in stock, got one sweatshirt that I ordered and another that I didn’t order. I wanted to send back the one I didn’t order but the shipping office told me that I’d have to pay $12 to send even though you sent labels… not worth it. So I just kept the one I didn’t even want. 2- Ordered the sweatshirt that I DID want and got the exact same sweatshirt that I DID NOT want again !!!!!!!! I did not contact the store because I’m afraid it would just happen all over again! Now I have 3 sweatshirts, 2 of which I did not want. Something is going wrong in your delivery department. Too bad because I really like your products!

I can see from pervious tickets we gave sent you a FedEx return label. This label is paid for by us and would not require extra payment if it is brought to a FedEx drop off center. Bought a mug as a gift for a friend. Received emails saying on it's way, at Preston post office, addressed wrongly, found it, on it's way and 3 week later it has still not arrived!!! I could have swum to Dublin and back quicker. What is going on???

no happy with what i bought it come from ireland i thought i was buying irish glasses that was made in ireland buy irish hands when i open it i read made in france made in france come on. you could have sent me email and said o by the way these glasses are made in france i would not have bought them ade in france come on people i guess some people just care about the money when we had our own compony we did the right thing that's not going to happen here is it? ya that's what i thought not going to happen good bye have a great life

Unfortunately we didn't receive our gift Courier said it was delivered but we didn't get it We have never had any problems with deliveries before, very disappointed

The contents of the box was fabulous. Patrick very impressed and enjoyed the chocolates and chips. I was very very disappointed with the service. It was present for my son Patrick for his 21st in Australia. It was never delivered to him. Could not track it. On live chat we were told it was enroute and couldn't be given delivery date. Two days later Patrick got a phone call saying it was in a shop for awhile. This shop not near where he lives as had to walk and get public transport. Overall not reliable Carnel javanagh

Disappointed. Aran has a name for quality. The picture doesn't show properly what the sweater is like. It is a very flimsy knit. Iy is held together with intermittent rows of very sparce, flimsy single strands of wool which I fear will break very easily making the sweater unwearable. Also not very warm as a consequence.

A few days ago I noticed there is a big scratch at the back of my jade pendant. I also found a huge scratch in one of the two tumblestones I bought. My understanding is that the jade stone is very hard and if it has a scratch is not a real jade. I am very dissapointed

Hi Maria, Thanks for reaching out. Sorry to hear your items have some scratches on them. We would like to fix this for you, but before we do can we can we clarify "jade". Jade comes in a large range of quality versions - these are costume jewellery pieces on the lower end of that scale. No version of jade cannot be scratched. Something like a hard stone "pure jade" you are describing that would be difficult to scratch would be far more expensive then diamond and would cost thousands of dollars per gram. With that knowledge would you like us to replace or refund the damaged items at this point? I will drop you a private message you can reply to, to advise how you would like us to proceed. I ordered 2 boys Rugby shirts on 26th Jan for delivery in the UK. An email from you dated 28th January 2023 stated that the order was on its way and gave the Fedex tracking #393968523825. Tracking on 8th February showed that the order had not left Dublin. I contacted on-line support and was informed me that the order had been lost in your warehouse. An offer to renew the order for delivery in 2-3 days was accepted but as it had not been delivered by 14th Feb and I had not been given a new tracking number I cancelled the order and asked for a refund. This was received on 17th Feb

Overall the experience was terrible, long story short don't expect express delivery if you pay for it. The gift card/note wasn't included so the person it was intended for hadn't a clue who it was from. Not all items you see in the picture is included in the hamper(which isn't a hamper but a box) I dealt with 2 women in customer service, one was lovely and very helpful the other I found quite cheeky. Overall I would never put myself through that stress again. Very disappointed in the whole experience.

I have ordered a number of items from Carrolls in December, anly 2 parcels arrived out of 4 i ordered, and that was only because i emailed Carrolls a number of time. 2 parcels still have not arrived, no way to run a business. im very disapointed

I love Irish items that I discovered in Dublin shops. But I will not order again on the website and for sure not recommend Carrolls Irish Gifts to anyone. Never saw that before... I received half of what I ordered and what I received was piled up in bad packaging and not protected enough for international shipping. I have been refunded but I am very disappointed by this bad experience.

After ordering the hamper there was a delay with dispatch. So much so that I had to email customer care. Apologies for the delay but it finally left Carrolls. An Post was tasked with postage, but it never arrived at its destination in the US, and An Post track and trace has now updated it with a return to sender. I have no idea where it is right now, and overall it has been a disaster for something that should be so simple.

I bought a few items from you while in Ireland, so I felt comfortable ordering a few items online that my son really liked. He liked the slipper socks and wanted some for a couple of friends. I ordered a throw while I was at it because I liked the color. There were no size specifications on the description for the throw, it just said "throw." I got my items a few weeks later. The items for my son were fine, delivery was fine, but the "throw" is 31" x 22.5". Not my idea of a "throw." I don't know what I'm supposed to do with it. It's not big enough to be a baby blanket, it's the wrong shape for a scarf, and it's not big enough to be a shawl. Very strange item. Again, no size specifications on the site. The thing that got me to give you only one star, though, was I wrote a review complaining about the throw and you never posted it! You are weeding out bad reviews so your ratings stay high! I wrote another review, so we'll see if you let that one post. Very dishonest.

Very disappointing service. This order was placed on 13/12/22 and it only arrived on 11/1/23. It was for a Christmas present. Imagine giving a present to someone on 12/1/23? Not good at all. I phoned your office and tried to speak to one of your assistants. She kept me on the phone for almost 10min/international call, but she was of no help, very difficult to understand her!! I have to say your website should be updated, very little variety in clothing, souvenirs, etc. It is far below standards compared to your shops in Dublin City centre. You could offer a lot more products online! A disappointing experience!

My item never arrived. I tried to have it re-sent. It still hasn't arrived. I started this order on Dec. 14 and today is Jan. 13. The person I communicated with seemed very helpful, but ultimately the gift was never received and I did not receive a shipping/delivery confirmation. I had to contact them twice now.
