“AGGRESSIVE & RUDE EMPLOYEES! Went to the Angleton, TX store. After looking for about 10 minutes, 3/4’s of the way up to the front of the store, I was approached by an employee asking if I had a mask. I told her I was medically exempt & she just turned & walked away back to the register. She then started whispering to her coworker. I was looking at a Small light weight sweater & proceeded to put my left arm through to see if it would be too tight thinking I may need a Medium. (The dressing rooms are still closed at Cato stores) The same girl approached me in an aggressive manner & told me I could be trying on clothes in the store, As to which, I replied I wasn’t trying it on, I only put the sleeve on up to my elbow to make sure it wasn’t too tight. I decided then to stop looking & check out because I don’t want to shop anywhere with rude-aggressive employees. There was another lady shopping without a mask & I never heard her approach her about not having one. There is no difference in me putting that sleeve up to my elbow & touching every piece of clothing that I touched while sifting throughout the racks of clothing.”
“I love shopping at your Catos store in Salem VA. All of the girls are so nice, friendly and helpful. Each associate greets the customers as they come in the door, asked if they need help finding anything, even take clothes customers have selected and lay them by the register so we can continue to shop . One of the associates, I think she told me her name was Kay, she is so helpful, she helped with putting complete outfits together w/ accessories and shoes. I haven't been shopping in so long, I wasn't aware of all the new styles that are out and Kay was right now, very knowledgeable and informative.”
“I purchased a wallet. The price of the wallet was $7.99. When I got to the check out counter. The clerk changed the price by scratching the $7.99 out and writing $8.99. No explanation of why.”
“Just received my shipment. Everything I ordered arrived 5 days after placing my order. I tried every garment on and LOVED them!!! Every piece fit perfectly. I'm 5'11" so the longer lengths of the skirts work perfectly for me. I've never had any fashion store meet all of my expectations in an order. I usually send things back, get annoyed by items that were in stock not shipping, shipping the wrong size, poor quality. But none of that in this shipment. I'm blown away. Well done Cato!!! I will be ordering again.”

“The quality is fading with dumpy fits. The Dallas store on Wheatland looked like a Mexico flea market. They speak Spanish not English and store was junky and dirty. Walmart closed and Cato turned straight up hood, messy and nasty !!”
