“In a world where kindness is rare; I want to thank Dianna and Jackie at the 22625 Tomball Pky location, who helped me today. I came in to return clothes that were too big, and instead of just processing the return, they helped me find pants, blouses, a cardigan and matching jewelry. Thanks to them, I left with two beautiful outfits, a purse and matching jewelry. One that I intend to wear at my interview tomorrow. Definetly will be shopping at this location more. Thanks ladies.”

“Staff ignored my arrival, never asked if I. needed anything . Seemed to be bothered that I was even there. Asked if the dressing rooms were locked, waited a while for the clerk to show up. Bought several items and ignored my request for an emailed receipt. Worst experience I’ve ever had at a Catos. Customer service is a skill set this team doesn’t appear to have. Wont ever visit the the Ambassador Caffery Store again.”

“Can all of you people please stop calling the store “Cato’s”. It is Cato. There is no s. It’s very basic grammar. Also, stop complaining about technical stuff that the employees have no control over. ( i.e. marking the bills then having to hold them up to the light) Get over it; it’s part of the company’s policy, not a way to criminalize a customer. Also, employees are 98% of the time not just messing with clothes on racks to watch what you are doing! That is in your head. It is part of their job to put back/fix clothes on racks after lazy customers decide to just throw them on top of other thing or leave them on the floor. Customers are not always in the right. And no..I do not work for CATO.”

“Your "pay by phone" system is very outdated. It takes over 7 minutes to complete the payment by phone. You first get an automated message. Then it transfers you to a live person only to transfer you back to an automated recording. It's ridiculous.”

“The salesperson at the Cato in Eunice Louisiana today was fabulous. Liz Frank went above and beyond to help my daughter find just the right clothes. She was full of compliments and advice. We are from out of town but would drive back just because of her!”

“I recently purchased these shoes from cato's. I took the tags off for a vacation. Monday July 2025 walked to a few different places very comfortable shoes......BUT The bottom of the shoe is peeling off. Like thin paper. I definitely didn't walk in anything that would have caused that. Very disappointed. Tried posting pictures they wouldn't go through.”

“Went into the Store on Bobby Jones Expressway Augusta on 7/26/25 Sales Associate was counting down the register. She wasn’t friendly at all. I will continue to order online. Very poor customer service. Nasty Attitude”

“I have been a customer of Cato's for years. On July 21, 2025 I visited the Monticello, Indiana store and ran across the rudest employee. She watched us like a hawk like we were going to steal. I bought items and paid cash and she didn't even thank me. I was there with my sister and niece and they felt the same way. The receipt shows it was salesperson 101. I have worked retail for years and that is no way to treat a paying customer.”

“The Cato Fashions store in Ahoskie NC #00066 is awesome. Two women imparticular that help me are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They keep that store in tip top shape. It's always neat and tidy, the clothes on the racks are arranged in order by size. I enjoy my shopping experience there. I highly recommend this store and the above and beyond staff.”

“Nice store in Crestview, FL. There's lots to choose from. That's the nice thing but sadly it's so hot in the store right now until it's unbearable to look at what they have. I contacted customer service a few months ago and there's still no air-conditioning. I would like to shop there but I won't be back until action has back taken or the winter time rolls around. There are a few other options in town now.”

“For the last 3 years I have received a gift card for Cato's from my son. I understand that they are financially strapped. When I went to the store in Callaway Florida they told me that their gift card system has been down all week. I called the corporate office and they have no resolution. This is crazy. I think purposely holding the funds because their financially tight. You mean to tell me in our entire week's time there is no resolution to all of the other moms who may have gotten a gift card from Mother's Day. And I spent an hour picking up my clothing just to be told that I couldn't use it. They need to post that on the door before people waste all day looking for clothing. I don't believe that the gift card system is down. Never again. Going forward I will tell my son to not include Cato in my gift cards from Mother's Day.”

“I have to rave on Alexia and Haylie at store #00512 located in Millington, TN. Alexia was so patient and went above and beyond to help me get old gift cards I had that didn’t have a pin #. She called every number she had on file and finally got my GC situation resolved. Haylie has a bright and happy smile. They both compliment each other as they work. I will definitely be going back to this location and hope they’re there to help me pick out my outfits. Highly recommend this place for fabulous customer service.”

“One of the workers there is very rude with her coworkers and customers. She is nice whenever the manager is around but when there are people there of a different race and the manager is not there, she is very rude. She is the short older lady that works there.”

“Good day to whom this may apply. I love Catos fashions. I only shop here until recently. I'm currently serving at a APO AP shipping address. And I'm now denied access to the website to shop because I do not have a United States address. We are soilders and civilians that love Catos and now are denied without any estimated timeline as to when the website will be made available to us. Can we please receive an ETA?”

“Amber at the Burleson Catos was so polite and helpful she went and found the skirt I was looking for my wife in a wheel chair she said she would hold it till I go there this afternoon, amazing customer service, nothing like the one I just call off Cooper st in Arlington and had to deal with a store manager having a bad day. Nothing!”
