“I joined the service because they allowed me to choose my provider and I got an immediate appointment which I NEEDED!
She was wonderful and I had no complaints.
Then my chosen provider left cerebral.
This was a whole different story. I was sent a link to schedule with a provider THEY supplied, with no choice given. No matter that this provider didn't have an opening for over a month and a half!!
As for the "therapy" provided, anyone who tells you that effective therapy happens in one half hour session a month, is delusional!
That is what is offered.
Ridiculous.”
“My first experience with Cerebral was really positive - I was matched with a prescriber in my area who I had a good first session with and who prescribed me medication that is helping. However, I also signed up for therapy and have had a hard time finding a therapist whose schedule doesn't show they are booked for the next 6 months. There was also a glitch in the app because it wouldn't let me access my account until I signed up for an appointment with a care counselor which I wasn't able to do so I went in circles for a couple weeks trying to figure that out..... Then I emailed and was given an appointment time at 7:00am and I tried to make it but with a job and an infant, well..... I had to reschedule it to over 2 weeks later. As of this review, I have still not had a therapy session with a care counselor.”
“Responses are very slow. Scheduling with a provider is slow as well. After your first appointment you usually have to wait atleast 3-5 days to speak with a provider once you reach out to schedule. This doesn’t work if you need immediate change to your medicine”

“If you need medication quickly, it's a nice service. If you need therapy to talk to someone, you may want to look into therapists in your area.
You can only meet with your care counselor once a month on here, and it's really just to check in and see how you're doing on the medication. I like my care counselor a lot, but I wish I could meet with her two times a month instead of one on the basic service package. The basic package is already fairly expensive for the service being received. (No slight against my counselor; they're great. Just meeting for one 30 minute session a month is not enough for the base monthly fee.)”

“I thought the initial evaluation was great. However, when it came time to actually write for medications they kept telling me I needed to be evaluated by someone else. The next evaluation date was a month away. I made my needs known and I was put in touch with someone who offered discounts on counseling and was apologetic about the wait but could not speed up the process. My advice would be to get your journey started early because there may be a wait time involved.”
