“I always used cheap flights to purchase my tickets but this time I had an awful experience. My mom passed away suddenly and I bought last minute tickets. I checked their policy which said I could cancel within 24 hours. I called within the 24 hours to add another day to my departure, because the funeral home was booked before I would fly back home. I was told that the 24 hours does not apply for my situation since I’m flying out within the week of purchase. I did not read the fine print. Please be aware of that because for a change like that they wanted over 700 dollars when my ticket round trip was 565. I’m definitely disappointed and will consider other options when purchasing future airline tickets.”

“I double-booked a flight due to an error on my laptop that did not show the confirmation of the 1st reservation for more than 2 hours. After waiting for 2 h for the confirmation and the e-ticket I presumed that the booking was not done, so I re-booked my tickets for the same flight over again. Later I received a double booking in my e-mail. The next day, an agent called me to ask about the double booking and we agreed to cancel one booking. 2 days later when I checked with my bank, the Cheap Flights Fares had already taken the amount for a double booking despite the previous cancellation. I contacted the company and they told me I would be refunded for one booking in 7-10 days or maybe..2-3 days. So, basically they had charged me the amount for a double booking when one of them had already been canceled by their agent 48 hours before. Now I will have to wait and have a big debt until the refund. I contacted the bank and complained about this situation.”

“If I can give negative stars I would. Cheap flight fares changed the price to more than doubled to what I purchased for on American Airlines. I will never recommend or use cheap flights fares again. They managed to booked me on Spirit which I hate but I have no other choice, and I have to pay an extra $162.”
