“We booked a flight to go see family. We purchased the flight/cancellation insurance. Two family members who we were visiting and staying with got covid. We tried to cancel the flights. Called cheap flights to cancel. Got the runaround to where Cheap flights wouldn't cancel the flight, gave us a telephone number to call the "insurance company" to "file a claim". The next day after posting a review of Cheap Flights Fares I get a call from "Marcellus King" wanting to "help me". The help was basically saying that the flight insurance I purchased was from an independent insurance carrier a d in order to get a "refund " I needed to speak to them. Really, you advertise flight insurance and when I have to cancel a flight instead of helping me and doing that you give me the runaround to call this insurance company in which I wont get a full refund, I'll get a voucher to use at a later sate... for a fee. Hey if you advertise flight insurance it should be up to your company to take care of that. But this wasn't even the real reason for "Marcellas's" call, he wanted me to submit a new review to make it seem like Cheap Flights actually cares about and helps customers to make it look like they're a reputable company. Bullshit. This is all a scam. I'm not going to loose my money so instead of cancelling, getting some type of voucher, and going at a later date, I'm going on this trip and staying with my family who has covid and then getting on that return flight. This company is terrible. Your fee structure is misleading and false and you are basically scamming people out of money. Will never use this company again and will reach out on social media to tell people your company practices and that you don't give people what they pay for.”

“The flight we booked through you was changed, so you put us on another airline. Unfortunately, we paid almost $200 to select specific seats and you told me that we would have similar seats on our new flight. After spending 1hour and 38 minutes on the phone with the new airline, we do NOT have assigned seats and the only seats available are in the middle seat. You will be hearing again from us to get our money back.”

“I had to change the dates , while using there app the calendar is so small I hit the wrong button … that changed it no problem… lost my flight protection and the said the price was the same and it was 200 dollars more , already paid 900 for 2 one way tickets , rude , bad service , I’ll never use again … please do not use this app cheapflights or ladybug”

“I was never emailed my ticket even after calling TWICE and the 3rd call I made from the Orlando Airport ticket counter and the Customer Service Rep took SO Long the line backed up to the Terminal ENTRANCE so I had to run with my luggage to make my Flight so F- Review. First and Last time customer!”

“Customer service was great! However, I think this company should put accurate prices on their website and accurately time it to avoid any confusion cause I paid $600 when the website said $486. Edit: I asked for a refund, I was given one but charged again…”

“Thieves, scammers, liars... They charge a price different from that displayed when booking and do not want to refund the overcharged. I called them many time, Nothing happens.Totally unacceptable!! Very angry and disappointed.! The price has doubled in the meantime and no consideration, no respect for customers, The price has doubled in the meantime and no valid explanation.A horror.This is a BIG SCAM, they are liars.Do not waste your time on this rotten agency it deserves to be closed!! “Arrived at LGA At 5pm come to find out flight was never booked ,they so-called claimed they tried reaching me but never left a verbal mail nor received email .Spent hours at ticket window for spirit airlines trying figured out where my flight seat etc.Then k was rebooked first more money flight out of JFK 10pm .Had to pay $40 cab fares .When arrived at jfk,discovered that cheap fare agent charged me for two checked bags instead of one checked bag and one carryon .I will never ever ever ever never ever book with you guys again if you were last on earth .From now in u will book directly with jet blue”

“I had to cancel a flight last year due to COVID. I had a year to use the ticket since I was not refunded my money. I wanted to book a flight and had a substantial credit and the flight I wanted to take was less than this amount. Apparently my "use by date" was May 12th and to extend my flight to May 20th instead they wanted me to pay an extra almost $200 even though the ticket price WITH bags was still well under my current credit from the previous ticket. So in order to keep from eating the cost of the original ticket I had to fly somewhere at a time I did not want to. This place is one big scam and I will never use them again and will be sharing this experience with everyone I know and on social media. It's borderline extorsion and not a good way to retain customers.”

“I believe this site is a total rip-off. I was working for an hour with one of the agents on the phone to look for a flight to England supposedly attempting to find me the cheapest flight out there around my dates. I ended up booking a round-trip flight for $5105 for my family of four. Within a few hours, I was starting to hear people tell me that is way too much money. I then went on booking.com and realized my same flight was going for around $3800. This company upcharges for their services. I just wished I would have looked around more than trusting this company.”

“They messed up when I needed to make changes to my flight. I had to pay for their mistake. There was a severe language barrier during my phone calls. I spent three days on the phone on my days off to try to straighten up their messes. Never booking through them again & I will continue to tell my friends when they talk about traveling.”
