I had a bad experience with Cheap Flights Fares, CFF are scammers looking to make money from you. CFF are intermediaries in the chain of intermediaries in the so-called online ticket purchasing business. I picked a round trip on Kayak.com, which suggested to get a ticket through CFF. I was satisfied with the price, got an email from CFF with "the confirmation", waited for an electronic ticket. Next day I got an e-mail from CFF, the cost went up by $484 "due to less availability of seat airline increased the price". I agreed to pay more. CFF insisted on acknowledgement that I accept the new price by e-mail first. I paid. I got 6-digit ticket code. I went to the airline (using the code) to reserve the seat. 65-70% of seats were avialable on the airline map, and the cost of a ticket on the airline's website was like I chose in the beginning with CFF. Why did you lied to me that the cost went up? I'll tell all my friends not to use CFF services, they rip off people.

Not worth it, customer service keeps giving me false prices but other sites are showing me same flight with lesser price. Makes no sense

happy bank declined payment . They didn't recognize your site then when I called they released my card and you put payment thru again that I did not authorized meanwhile I rebooted with another company in Canada. When I phoned you I was hangup on or disconnected 3 times. My bank is investigating this as fraud you also charged me 28 dollars for I don't know what. I now have 2 tickets same flight both paid for. Therefore you offered no cancelation or help this was all done within hours. Cibc is taking this as fraud so I'm not very happy and would never recommend your site. Show quoted text

So far, not so good. I bought a round-trip ticket for a non-stop flight from SLC to DC on Frontier Airlines, and paid the extra fee for a carry-on bag. When I downloaded the Frontier app and checked my reservation, it states that the flights in fact do have stop-overs in Denver, and there is nothing about my carry-on bag already being paid for. In fact, the app is asking if I want to pay to bring one. So, how do I trust a reservations website that either doesn't know or is flat out lying (not sure which is worse) that the flight is non-stop when in fact it does have a stop, and takes my money for a bag reservation that didn't get made?

When prices are set on the website, it shall remain the same when buying the ticket. Unfortunately in my experience, I bought the tickets that were priced on the website, however I got a confirmation, but the payment had not gone through, then I received an email that my payment was declined. I had called and Douglass answered sharing that the price went up. We all know because they want extra money. Douglass said the prices would change on the website in an hour and they never did, remained the same as when i bought them the first time. I had to pay an extra $140 which brought up my total, and if i can go those money back, that’ll be gladly appreciated. Because the prices on the website should be set already for customers to select their tickets otherwise it’s a scam, however it took a whole other process and that’s unacceptable because it put stress and confusion to me as a customer.

I bought the flight for $204 through Expedia. The next day I received a voicemail that was extremely difficult to understand (didn’t leave a call back number that was audible), and when I did call back the rep told me that the transaction was canceled because the flight fare increase to $298. They offered to give me the flight at $20 below the new price. I quick search the flight again (directly on Sun Country’s website) and saw the flight was still only $208. The rep still tried to talk me into buying the flight at $224. I said no cause I can book it directly for cheaper and you’re the one that canceled it in the first place. Then they agreed to give me the flight for the original price. So all I got out of this interaction was that your company was trying to falsely drive the price up to make more money. I hope that isn’t what you’re founded on, but sadly that was my experience. Improve your customer service and you’ll have a better business model. Thanks, Josh

Thanks for inviting me to edit the review. I bought flight Price protection but any way at the moment of payment there was a back and forth with the initial ticket price (they put on Hold the booking until I called and negociated/accepted the new higher price) that ended In just paying usd 9.08 extra (for the taxes) from the original quote instead of more, after I argued that I should better cancel the whole booking they lowered by an special manager approval that toke less than 1 second. I am not likely using this tricky platform again that at the moment of selling is cheaper but at the moment of billing is cheater because takes advantage of the holding of the booking having the credit card and the whole thing already to wrap you into a change of rates at the phone when you call them instead of them calling you. I can go on, but I think I could if I had one more Litle push to add the audio recording and the screenshots.

I booked two itineraries. For both, Cheapflightfares called me and told me to either pay more or change the timings of flights. Thats not what i was expecting when I was booking the tickets. The customer support team has been awesome in trying to discuss and debate this but this service doesnt meet my expectations

Do not purchase from this service. Obstinate and pushy customer reps who just don’t listen or care what you tell them. They are intent on doing as they wish. They publish Lowe ball fares of offers they cannot meet with the airlines. Run, don’t walk from this service. Is it possible to issue demerits and give negative stars? It was that bad.

The company https://www.cheapflightsfares.com/ is engaging in a bait-and-switch practice in the attempt to extort money from their would-be clients. It's likely that a significant number of people are falling pray to this. Yesterday (3/27/24), I went on kayak.com to look for tickets to fly to Dallas on April 7th so my partner and I could watch the eclipse on April 8th. Due to the lateness of the reservations, fares were pretty expensive for reasonable departure times ($600 per person, one way from OAK to DAL - return tickets had already been purchased the night before). Cheaper fares were available for unreasonably long travel times (20+hrs). However, amongst these, one fare stood out: $722.16 for both of us, leaving early in the morning and arriving in the afternoon. It was a no-brainer, we thought. We clicked on the link, which took us to cheapflightsfares.com and we proceeded to enter our information and credit card information. At the end of this the system returned with a page that said "Congratulations! Your Flight booking has been confirmed." There were no disclaimers on the page. I have saved a screenshot of the page. Reasonably, this led me to believe that it was all done, so I went ahead and books a rental car and hotel. This morning, I saw an email sent later in the evening yesterday, which said that I needed to call them because there were issues with my ticket fare. I called them and they said that the ticket fare was no longer valid, but I could get the same itinerary for $1023.14! I explained to them that the site had already told me that the booking was confirmed. They told me that it was not, and that they had not charged my card yet. While we were talking, I went on kayak and made the same search, which gave the same results as the previous day $722.16. I told them about this, and they said that it takes some time for the ticket to be updated on the site. I asked how long, and they said 24 hours. I told them that, given that all prices were already high the day before, it meant that the system hadn't updated yet the day before and it would now be about 48 hours that it hasn't updated. I told them it was evident that they were engaging in bait-and-switch practices, targeting vulnerable clients who feel that they've already sunk costs into the trip. I spent a while on the phone with them explaining that this was bait-and-switch and that they were engaging in fraud. They argued that it was not so because they had not charged me yet. Finally, after an hour of back and forth, they issued me a ticket for the same price, but for a longer duration flight. Given that the offer was still available today, I suspect that they are engaging in a practice of bait and switch, targeting vulnerable clients. I believe that if you investigated them, you could find many, many examples where they were successful at extorting money from other clients, perhaps clients how had greater urgency to travel, or clients who did not think they had a recourse. Rergardless, I would like to bring your attention to what is likely an company that engages in bait-and-switch to extort money from their clients.

I received a phone call after booking my flights telling me that the price increased by $60 and to get the flights that I had already booked I needed to pay the extra fee. He had an explanation but I didn't understand it. I will not book through Kayak again and have already told others not to as well.

I purchased a flight for one price, and afterwards I was charged $75 for a fee I wasn't informed about before hand. Since I had already technically approved the purchase there was no way for me to cancel it and ask for a refund.

So I was sent to Cheap Flights from the Kayak site after I found an airfaire on Spirit that I wanted. I then paid for my 4 airfares and then 1 minute later I get a call telling me the fare has an increase of $373. So I check my CC, the primary amount for 1700.00 went to Spirit, the $373 went to Cheap Flights. The representative informed me it was a last minute rice increase to this particular flight. Yeah ok!?

I booked two flights one for myself and another for my family. I paid for both tickets. Few days latter I see they held the payment for my family’s ticket and charged my Amex for my ticket and then they requested additional $1000 for my family’s tickets saying the price went up. Do not shop there as it is a big scam company and I believe someone should put them under investigation. They refused to refund me the money for my ticket and they didn’t Homer their price for the tickets I bough for my family
