“I’ve been using Chewy Auto ship for about 2 years for RX meds for our sweet Labrador Sammy. I worked in Customer Service for 30 years and took pride in the level of service I delivered to the public. Have I EVER received the level of customer service that I have received from CHEWY in these last two years? NEVER ! Every person I have ever talked with on the phone with CHEWY has been the most informed and thorough individuals I have ever dealt with. We recently lost our beloved 17 yr old cat and our 14 yr old beloved Sammy, just 3 weeks apart. I called to cancel the Auto ships and was helped by Alisa with the utmost of compassion and thoroughness to make sure that I no longer even receive “reminders” of upcoming orders. The next day I received a lovely bouquet from Alisa and the Chewy Family. They even posted a “Remembrance” photo of our sweet boy. WHERE DO YOUR EVER GET THIS TYPE OF SERVICE AND COMPASSION !”

“I've been a Chewy customer for most of the 15 years of my dog's life. I love the convenience and the wide product selection. But I will no longer shop with Chewy because they employ deceptive marketing. I frequently get coupons from them both electronically and in the mail. Whenever I try to use the coupons, I get an error message that my coupon is not valid. I started reading the very small fine print and discovered that while the coupon says 20% OFF in big bold letters, the fine print says it's only good on a very limited number of products. The birthday card my dog got had print so small I needed a magnifying glass to read it only to discover it was only good on particular products that were quite hard to locate on Chewy. The worst are the 20% off coupons that come in every order I receive but are only good for new customers! I've had it. Either send coupons that don't play games or don't send coupons at all. The current approach makes just makes me angry. PETCO here I come.”

“My vet sent in a script for Miritaz for my sick cat. Chewy sat on it for two days, and when I called they said there was an issue with the instructions which clearly was on the script, because I have a copy. Then they tried to back pedal on everything. Will never use them again.”

“My first bag of ‘Pro Plan Live Clear Adult 7+ Chicken’ cat chow just arrived and my two elderly feline gals are chowin’ down on it with an enthusiasm I have NEVER seen in them! “I don't know how anybody can give Chewy a terrible review. I have been a customer for the past five years and I've only had a problem one time and they handled it immediately. I appreciate not having to wait online when I called them and how efficient they were with fixing the problem. They always ask about how my pets are doing."BY NAME" :) Nicole is who I talked to and she was so sweet and helpful. Always will use Chewy for my pets needs.”

“Chewy is the most horrible service. Every time I order, my package is “lost”. it says its delivered, and its no where to be found… keep in mind, I live in an apartment where packages are delivered INSIDE, so I know they are not stolen after delivery. Chewy has never compensated me. I get another delivery and that’s delayed too! Not even a treat for my baby. All I get is “I understand”. I order necessities for my dogs, heart meds and prescription food, things I cant just get anywhere. I think its highly disappointing and devastating that my dogs’ lives could depend on it and chewy doesn't care. I had to spend an extra $40 once because chewy lost my dogs heart meds, and new ones weren't delivered until 3-4 days later.. meds he needs 2x a day, everyday, by the way. My dogs prescription food just disappeared this Wednesday and I still don't have a replacement,because that got delayed too, and I don't even know if it will come tomorrow as stated, because it originally stated delivery would be by today. Once I get my dogs food this is probably my last order. worst customer service ever.”

“CHEWY....wow always exceeds my expectations! Just relocated cross country and needed help updating autoship information as system didn't let me update card or addresses. I spoke with Alex...he quickly understood, updated all information, placed my auto order, used my credit as asked and even added 5% off for calling in. Enjoyed our chat, super efficient and friendly guy....and this is the norm for anytime I call. Thank you Chewy, great service, prices and I always feel appreciated.”

“I want to thank chewy. I had to put my 18 yr old baby to sleep this week. It was the hardest thing I have ever had to do. I reached out to chewy because she had a case of prescription kidney food coming. I thought they would just send me a return label to send it back when it was delivered. But they told me to donate it. Then today I came home and they had sent me flowers. That was the sweetest thing and really helped me out somewhat of a smile on my face. It shows that people can be charismatic these days. Thank you thank you for the kind gesture. I will be sure to continue using you when I get my next kitty.”

“There's no other place where I can leave a review for this, but I interviewed for Chewy and I have to express that I am not satisfied at all. My interviewer Febe Montederamos was exactly like a robot, I wouldn't be surprised if you told me she was a robot. I don't understand how someone like this gets in this position when they're clearly miserable with people just trying to get a job.”

“I returned an item and have the fedex tracking number. I boxed the dog carrier in its original box and inside another cardboard box. I have the slip from fedex. Chewy is stating the box was empty and will not refund the $50+. so i have to pay for something because someone at chewy states it was empty and/or because someone stole the package. chewy just lost my business”

“Chewy has the absolute best customer service. It’s so rare to have a human being answer the phone instead of an automated system. The representatives have been helpful, courteous and kind. Truly a different experience than most companies whose automated system, I believe, is designed to frustrate rather than help the customer. You have my business, Chewy! Keep hiring great people.”

“The Chewy team is unbelievably kind, generous, and understanding. I asked for a refund of 2x Herm Sprenger prong choke collar 2.25mm which amounted to over $60 and they just gave it to me, they asked that I keep the items to gift or donate. 11/10 best customer service, will buy much much more from them. -One Happy Customer”

“Chewy canceled my order just because they didn't like that I used the promotion code they sent me on email! I spent two days emailing them and finally bought the dog's food in another shop. I will never return to them, and will talk about these greedy people to all my friends. Choose another seller, these guys are just awful, don't trust them, your pets will never receive what they need. Customer service also didn't help. Just AWFUL.”

“Our beloved cat Little Boy passed away last week, and I went online to see what I could do to let them know or remove his profile. I chatted with a lovely agent named Monica M. She was so gracious and kind with her sympathy, but what really amazed me happened the next day. They sent a gorgeous bouquet of flowers with a darling note! How many businesses do that! I will be customer for life!! (I tried to upload a photo but I couldn't do it--I'm 68 yes old).”

“Chewy is an amazing company! They are so friendly to deal with on the phone , you actually get to talk to a person not a computer ! They also sent flowers when my mom died which I felt was so thoughtful. Then when I emailed them about my dad having to put his dog asleep also a customer of theirs they sent flowers which really made his day. I save almost 50%on my dog’s anxiety medication through them and I can go on and on. My family and I LOVE Chewy!”

“A HUGE thank you to my friends at Chewy for sending my cat, Susie a Birthday Card and a cat nip toy. She played with it for a long time today and loves it. Chewy is such a great company with lots of nice people who love animals. When you get a Card and a flower bouquet after your beloved Dog passes away, that really shows you the kind of Company that Chewy is. Now a Birthday Card for my new girl, Susie with a surprise inside. Thank you to my friends at Chewy. You have a customer for life.”
