Liars in all areas of business. Also, they won't refund your deposit.

Purchased a basic membership for 59.00 then I realized I could not bid in my state because I needed a broker. I then was on hold with your preferred broker Better Bid for 6 minutes waiting to speak to someone with a strong accent whom I couldn't understand and then had to call back again same wait time on hold. Then I finally got the staff to break down the fees for me and it went as follows. This was a buy now salvage vehicle price of $30,000 Copart's total fees were $2,338 the broker fees were $1,299 plus my premium membership with them a must have to bid on more expensive vehicles' (to keep the fees down) Total fees of $4,001. You cannot afford to pay these fees on salvage vehicles.

Same here. took us four weeks to get our bussiness signed up, and than have to pay up again so we can bid on more expensive vehicles. The fees are Stupid high, we understand there is a cost in doing business but that's insane !!

One star is more than they deserve. All these reviews saying how impressed and they have never had issues are a joke. I've been buying cars for years through auctions, Copart is by far the worst in customer service, handling issues and the FEES are a fn joke. Last car I purchased fees were over $1200. The fees have continued to go higher because these guys are one of the larger PUBLIC auctions and apparentley many people think that's just the way it is. There are many other auctions out there to buy from, you may want to look around. Either way this company sucks.

For the most part I have had good success buying from Copart. I do believe like many others, the fees are getting way too high. For the vehicles I have bought, I am paying close to $1000 over the winning bid. It is getting more expensive and more complicated working with Copart. As of late, the new sign in protocol to go into the lot for viewing or to pick up your vehicle for some reason has not been an easy transition for me. My last purchase, I filled out and made an appointment to pick up a vehicle. When I got there my appointment was not in the system. And even though I was the only one there and there was no one else loading out, the loader operator was gripping at me that my name was not in the system for an appointment. Not sure what I did or did not do that it did not save the appointment, but I thought it was very comical for the loader operator to be in a huff that I was there...especially when no one else was loading out. How simple would it be to just walk in and say, 'I am here to pick up my vehicle", when I have to go in to pay for the vehicle, sign the paperwork, and get the title anyway?

I went and registered two months out and paid the fee to be able to bid on a car. The day that I was ready to put up for action it would not allow me because it said that I had to have a buyer license or Broker to be able to bid. On co-parts webpage it prompt me to a list of brokers. After over an hour trying to contact someone all the brokers numbers went directly to music. I contacted Copart and they were not able to do anything to help me. Anyway the auction went on the car was sold I paid my registration to bid and could not even bid. Why Copart does not require the broker or buyers license on the registration form before you pay the registration fee to bid ????????? This company is only about taking your money !

One star is a compliment. Buyers beware.the waiver you sign to become a member gives them the right to cut converters and damage your vehicle after you have purchased it. The customer service is horrible and you will pay for their bad management.Warning to all buyers

Copart is allowing scam behavior from sellers. Cars are now being packaged and staged to hide the true nature of the damage. The pictures below are example of what was posted on Copart after being packed to sell online. Be careful buying from Copart

I've been rebuilding salvages for over 40 years. As others have mentioned the fees just keep going up and up and up. What I've noticed lately is there are lots of parts missing on my latest vehicles that are not related to any accident. My latest a 2015 Lexus all four tires were swapped out and replaced with junk miss-matched tires that were not even roadworthy. I've also noted that many cars like my Lexus came thru with harness connectors cut off as well as no bolts or lights and not a single part from the accident many of which can be salvaged and fixed and reused. A friend of mine with a towing service who has towed many car out of Co-parts said boxes of parts are just tossed rather than left in trunk. Vehicles coming off the east coast NY and Philly area seem especially bare with any part worth a few bucks removed from the cars.

Mocksville has always been good to me, office people very nice and always make car available if I want to see them before the sale. buyer fees kinda high but that's not their fault that is corporate. Have bought several cars from different locations but like Mocksville the best.
