I went and registered two months out and paid the fee to be able to bid on a car. The day that I was ready to put up for action it would not allow me because it said that I had to have a buyer license or Broker to be able to bid. On co-parts webpage it prompt me to a list of brokers. After over an hour trying to contact someone all the brokers numbers went directly to music. I contacted Copart and they were not able to do anything to help me. Anyway the auction went on the car was sold I paid my registration to bid and could not even bid. Why Copart does not require the broker or buyers license on the registration form before you pay the registration fee to bid ????????? This company is only about taking your money !

One star is a compliment. Buyers beware.the waiver you sign to become a member gives them the right to cut converters and damage your vehicle after you have purchased it. The customer service is horrible and you will pay for their bad management.Warning to all buyers

Copart is allowing scam behavior from sellers. Cars are now being packaged and staged to hide the true nature of the damage. The pictures below are example of what was posted on Copart after being packed to sell online. Be careful buying from Copart

I've been rebuilding salvages for over 40 years. As others have mentioned the fees just keep going up and up and up. What I've noticed lately is there are lots of parts missing on my latest vehicles that are not related to any accident. My latest a 2015 Lexus all four tires were swapped out and replaced with junk miss-matched tires that were not even roadworthy. I've also noted that many cars like my Lexus came thru with harness connectors cut off as well as no bolts or lights and not a single part from the accident many of which can be salvaged and fixed and reused. A friend of mine with a towing service who has towed many car out of Co-parts said boxes of parts are just tossed rather than left in trunk. Vehicles coming off the east coast NY and Philly area seem especially bare with any part worth a few bucks removed from the cars.

Please do not buy from Copart as an old employee trust & believe when I say they rip you off and they have their own employees stealing parts from the vehicle and when you go and pick it up they tell you oh no that’s just the way it & blame it on you. Horrible everything SAVE YOUR MONEY GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!

Called and asked about previewing a car in Fredericksburg va lot. Drove over 2 hours one way and sat in virtual equestrian for over a hour to be told the lot is not available. Business has poor customer and conveniently no manger on site. Zero help and poor attitudes after wasting hours of time.

Hi, I paid my basic membership fee 59$ and send my ID on 11/11/21, but Copart still has not activated my account, they said will take 2 days for activation but they keep rolling my case from person to person for over a week now, I asked them why? they said my email “gmail.com” maybe be blocked and it's in review. I am upset about the service, once a customer pay, no one care after. I want this to be resolved ASAP and start counting my membership from the day my account is activated or refund my money back. Thanks

I have been to Copart several times and most of the time, Run and Drive means nothing. It is a scam. Once, the master cylinder was not even installed in the car and the transmission was shot but marked as run and drives. Another time, the car was a stick shift when listed as automatic and of course, did not run and drive. Here is an example that shows they are getting VERY sloppy about their scams.

My name is Robert I pick up at Coparts in North Carolina South Carolina and Virginia.. Copart Hampton is terrible they take forever to load you.. Someone needs to seriously look at what they're doing and make better. They do not care about appointments . My suggestion fire the yard supervisor supervisor and get someone in here that can manage this yard more efficient!

Worst staff, worst service and a bunch of liars and idiots. Only care about making more and more money. They charge 2.50 for a mask. And when you buy a car they charged an extra 100$ for using a card!! Not interested in buying from here ever again!!! Cheapest idiots. Tried to cancel my purchase but they wanted to charge me 600$. Worst place to make business with. Go to impact. This company can learn some manners and service from them.

Copart Atlanta West is a very dangerous place. They are going to kill someone. Whoever is running that place should be fired immediately. The ladies in the front should be retrained immediately. If they don't kill someone this year with the fork lift drives, I will be surprised. Absolutely no customer service. Even the Deputy Sheriff leaving the place said the fork lift drivers are going to kill someone.

Won auction on a lightly damaged car, paid in full Friday, next Monday paid for delivery but didn't know if out of their area they charge you and contract it out at a way lower price. Nearly 2 weeks later after many calls i found my own transporter. Cancelled theirs, they charged me 40 pounds retrieval fee, 110 pounds storage and then get a call the next day on collection to tell me i have another 24 pounds storage to pay. Thats 174 pounds for non delivery and i only paid 120 pounds to get car delivered. TOTAL BANDITS .Customer services wouldn't help.

In my 30 years in the motor trade I really can’t recall a more ghastly company than Copart. If you engage in any regular business with Copart, I guarantee you’ll discover this company is run by tyrants and bullies. Copart make RyanAir’s Micheal O’Leary seem a reasonable guy. They simply see the customer as a cash cow to impose throughly unreasonable charges at any point. All the contact numbers are expensive 0845 numbers, their whole ethos is just about being greedy. They are a big presence in the salvage market, and use their near monopoly status to get away with dreadful customer services.
