Copar is more like a legalized scamming company, you bought a car due to the details they provided on their sites as run and drive vehicles but you got junks after buying they are the only auctions that doesn’t provides a videos of Thor vehicles running, bought 4 vehicles as running but all were not running…..PLEASE IF YOU WANT SINCERITY IN DETAILS DONT BUY FROM COPART , you tried to call the yard manager for complains and concerns about your purchase not available to hear your concerns

After subscribing for Copart basic subscription, which is refundable (and you get the money wired back), i was told my documents could not be verified so i decided to cancel the plan the days after opening the account and get my money wired to me. That was when i was informed, "We charge a $35 wire fee to wire funds back to international members.". When i mentioned this was never stated anywhere and my account was an American one, Then i was told, we do not refund into the card you used to pay and do not do wire transfer for card transactions but only send cheques to an American address. When i provided an American address, they went silent. This is a ploy to frustrate customers and keep the money for refunds. I have sent them several email asking for my money back but i just seem to be mailing myself at this point because they just want to keep the money

Bought a "Run" "Drive " car with a clean title and it looks like about 7k of work to get it up and street legal. Catalytic Converters were gone and bunch of problems that it should've been a salvage. Unfortunately I paid a higher price for a car that would drive. It will be cheaper for you to by one that you can inspect on auto trader or something like that, unless you are a mechanic. I would have given zero stars if it was an option. Run away very fast !! It will give you months of heartache

This site has no business being publicly available, and taking money from average people with their subscription model, due simply to the fact that there are so many vehicles you simply are not allowed to bid on for myriad reasons. A complete waste of time and fees.

Copart has made it harder and harder to buy from them, first only 3 days to get the car picked up before fees start, second they never have an appointment available within 24 hrs, sometimes 48 hrs to pick it up. Its hard as it is to get cars picked up now this. i will try my best to only buy cars from IAAI. I would suggest you think twice before bidding on copart.com

I bought a 2012 Kia optima hybrid from Copart through auto bid master. I Bought a vehicle history report on their website and it cleared the car from any mechanical problems. They listed the car with no problems except dents and scratches on their website and no mention whatsoever of any mechanical problems. I received the car with a seized engine, stolen batteries, and a fake key. The mechanic told me that Kia does not carry this engine anymore, and if it does it would cost more than $15000. I received it showing that it has no key written on the driver's window with a marker. Mind you, they did not show an image of the driver's window with the car images they listed on their website. And in the description, they said the car had a key while in fact, it did not. They programmed a fake key for this car and sent it along with the car. And now I am stuck with a locked car on my driveway because the key's programming is not working anymore. I can't believe that I was hit hard by a scam like this in my own country. Don't ever deal with those companies if you value your hard-earned money.

My problem with Copart is you can't even start the vehicles or hear them run. You take their word that they started them. How do I know they are not knocking? The second problem with Copart is their enhanced vehicles. If you see the word enhanced you better run because they have done everything they can to get a better price. They hide everything they can! those are the biggest rip off I've ever seen.

Both the registration and bidding process are horribly difficult and time consuming. When you spend hours getting past that you still can't bid on most cars unless you're a dealer. Don't waste your time and money, find someone else to buy through.

I use many auctions and by far this is the worst. Here is why. You can bid up to a million dollars against yourself. Every auction has a stop when you are the highest in a lIVE auction. This is the worst glitch and a scam by a company. I would never use them again

I would not recommend, not for buying vehicles or other various items, but in the since that now they charge a fee to be a member. I used to be a member and able to bid on vehicle's, till I lost my password. Tried to recover and was told "Your account get recycled after 120 days of inactivity", that is my fault and understandable! I try to create a new account and now they charge a membership fee. Never had before!

They don’t post there fees and they are the biggest ripoff compared to other auctions. I will never buy another thing from them.

Copart is a bully because they can be. They hold a large portion of the insurance/salvage car market in the U.S. They unapologetically gouge their customers with fees waaaaayyy higher than industry standard. The fees go up consistently and those that depend on them to make a living are forced to comply. They take no responsibility for inaccurate listings and damage done to vehicles while in their possession. There is almost zero quality control. Customer service is hit or miss depending on location. Copart generates unhappy customers, which generates unhappy employees. The process of paying for and picking up/transporting the vehicle you purchase is unnecessarily complicated and difficult. The app is glitchy. I can go on and on.

Found a Mercedes SUV I wanted to bid on at their Eugene, Oregon location. I paid the $59 membership fee and attempted to bid on the vehicle. The system told me I was ineligible to bid. I used the online chat to resolve this. The representative was helpful and explained since I was new, I would have to wait 24 hours for my account to be verified. I was fine with that and surprised that less than an hour later, I was eligible to bid. Now that I'm "eligible" to bid on the Mercedes I wanted, I was then told that I could NOT bid on it because I am not a dealer or business? Why can't Copart be upfront/honest about this BEFORE taking my $59 membership fee and making me waste HOURS out of my day for nothing! Now, I have to waste ANOTHER 5-7 days hoping I get my membership payment refunded- Thankfully, I took photos of my refund request in case they try to be more deceptive.....

I sign up and payed the subscription fee so i can bid in a vehicle that ends today but i wasn't allowed because it needs up to 2 days to verify my account. On their site it says that you can register in 60sec,pay, upload the document and you can bid which is completely misleading.I contacted them and they said they don't do refund even though i haven't used their service and it was completely misleading from their side.

My insurance company had my car moved to copart and when I went to retrieve the items from my vehicle. I was missing 3 pairs of rayban sunglasses and the change from my vehicle among a few other items. I would not recommend them to anyone else!

Not sure how this company is still trading - I have had the worst experience with the Wolverhampton branch. Staff are very rude - have zero customer skills - I have had to go through head office to get the simplest thing done like getting a vehicle getting collected. When they did eventually collect it they decided to only put the auction on for 3 days when it should have been 8 days - Terrible service. Bunch of crooks! Wolverhampton branch needs shutting down to say the least! Would give them zero stars if it allowed me to. However the recovery driver driver Gus was a very nice chap. Avoid con-parts at all costs!
