“We bought a set of Chloe 3 -piece occasional tables for our living room . 1 table was delivered with a defect on the top. We went to Costco to return the defect table and they said « you need to bring back the full set of 3 tables. I said it is too heavy. I jut need the top of the defect table. . They said no . What a vey poor service .”

It turned to hell.
The only time I liked it was in the morning stocking. I was working there while going to a trade school. The hired me kinda full time. Kinda part time after the holiday.
I was for it. Until they said I had to work up to the stocker position.
First. I had to go through the pure hell that of which was gathering carts all day.
The kids that were supervisors. Had terrible time management. They watched you like hawks. Every single second. It was stupid.
They" forget" to tell you when break time was. And you couldn't have your cell phone no matter what. And no. A watch wasn't a good idea. Unless you don't mind smacking it and breaking it.
They didn't care about it safety. Remember covid. We were in the fire.
The customers are pure evil. They look, talk and treat you like garbage, they stand in the way every time you are trying to rush and push the carts in the rows. Literally everyday I was out there, I almost got hit by a car.
THE MANAGERS are useless.
They are like deers in the head lights and can't do the math in they're heads when you're pushing 8- 10 carts towards them in the ONLY spot they go. I can't explain exactly how bad it really is. I decided that whenever a different position opens that I'll transfer. That was a different kind of hell. The rotisserie.
No one stays there cause the guy in the day shift has been there for years and knows how to play the system. He screws you every day. Never making enough chickens. Always leaving early.
You have several ovens you need to load.
No one's there helping you. So you're ON YOUR OWN all shift. The customers again. Are a holes. They walk in the double doors and demand.
They give you dirty looks. Grab the chicken from you.
They try rush you even though you tell them the temp had to be in the safe zone.
You clean everything, cook everything, stock, close, sanitize, count, blah blah blah all by yourself. No one cares to help. Oh and your room is all the way in the other side of the store. So when you finally get a break. It's cut short cause of the distance you have to travel. And get pulled aside by customers.
To work up to stocker is have to be there between 2-5 years ..... No way. I love myself to much.
Closing... Ah yes closing is just the nightmare continuing.
It got to the point where I was calling in and using every bit of PTO and such days I had just to not have to be there. Add soon as I got my new job offer. I was outta there.”
“Costco in Orange Park FL damaged my rims while installing tires on my Jeep Grand Cherokee. When I went inside to ask about the damage I was immediately yelled at by a technician saying they didn't do it and that I was absurd to think they caused any damage. Their insurance was even worse to deal with. Charity was difficult to get a hold of, never answered messages, and was rude every time we spoke. This is THE worst company I have ever dealt with and I will never do business with them or any of their subsidiaries again and I advise everyone else of the same.”

AVOID AVOID AVOID you have been warned. Orded a T.V in black friday sale said 5 days after 8 days and two phone calls i could tell i was wasting my time so i cancelled the order. I was told i would get a refund in 24/48 hours and still waiting 2 weeks later. You will wait on hold for 30 minutes to get to speak with anyone and when you do they just fob you off saying they will contact the department will not transfer you to anyone else. I have contacted the fsa and they have 30 days by law. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.”

“This should be zero out of five. I ordered a washer from Costco and Logistic supposed to deliver, install new washer and haul away the old one. The delivery man claimed the water valves broken and he could not turn off the water. He used that excuse to refuse disconnecting the old washer and install the new one. Even I shut down the water the whole house, he still yelled and banged his tools into my water valves and box. His team left my house and shortly after that I received and email for Costco Logistics said the "delivery completed". I paid $180 for a handy man to disconnect my old washer, install new washer, and haul the old one away. The handy man found no issue with the two water valves. I never had any issue like this with any other vendors. I will never order any washer from Costco again after this horrible experience.”

“Horrible self checkout , Costco wants their customers to make lines and wait at the store ,,, for instant if you are taking 15 items you have first put them in the cart next you have to put every thing in the self check out counter check out then again put every thing in the cart , you have to come to car again and put them in the car …. How many times a customer has to pick up the items …. And horrible entry system if you have 5 people in the home not only the person on the card will come if they have some other work the others who are in the card will come and pick up the groceries …. If every time the person in the card has to come to check in and check out that’s really sucks !!! What happens when you allow any one with card … will they buy all your products and open a new Costco or what ??? Foolish decisions doesn’t bring business it’s time for undercover boss …. You will get to know how frustrated your customers are … frustrated customers may not show up third time how great the products are or how great the price is …. Products are available in the market for sure”
“Horrible costumer service! Placed an order online and the scheduled delivery date nobody showed up. Called Costco costumer service and after wasting 2hrs on the phone, they said they do not have inventory!!! I had order number, scheduled delivery data and confirmation email and they charged my credit card too!! At the end, they just decided to cancel my order after wasting 10 days. Looks like fraud what they are doing.”
“For the second time in less than a month, I placed a 2-day delivery order and expanded it to qualify for free delivery. The first order was not delivered until the EIGHTH DAY. I called to complain and was given no satisfactory explanation. I thought I'd give it one more try and, sure enough, was sent a shipment notice on the third day following the placement of my order advising it would arrive in four days. Last time I make this mistake. Seems COSTCO is hurting its reputation greatly, while forcing customers such as me to go to Amazon when I really want and need a second day shipment. Disgraceful!”

“I ordered Desitin for my daughter on a Tuesday and according to the site it would ship and be here the next day. However, that didn’t happen. It didn’t come the next two days. On that Friday my package arrived and it was hair growth supplement for men. Not even what I ordered. When I talked to customer service the best they can do is get it here the following Tuesday. I did get an apology for an employee putting the wrong label on the box. That’s the explanation of how this could happen. No apology for needing the product and not getting it or being able to get it overnight or hey here’s what we can do for you next time. Customer Service and satisfaction seems to be overrated at Costco(at least online). Last order for me. Have a good day and go spend your money where it’s appreciated.”

I called them and every time it took me between 30 minutes to an hour to connect to them. They had to contact another department and again I was on waiting for another 30 minutes.
I called them about SEVEN times and waited for more than three weeks. The final result was none. My TV guaranty was useless and I had wasted my money to buy an additional three-year guaranty.”

When is Costco upper management/purchasing going to wake up and understand that we and the world have a huge problem with plastic.
We just purchased our first package of Kirkland toilet paper. Inside the outer plastic package there were six packs of toilet paper again wrapped in plastic. Why?
We usually buy Scott 1000 eighteen roll packages of toilet paper. Scott does not use double wrapping of rolls inside the larger package.
Kirkland does even worse with paper towels by individually wrapping each roll in plastic, inside the larger package. Many if not most of the other brands of toilet paper do not do this.
This is not a new problem. It is time for more people to speak up about this.”
“Specific to COSTCO.com and their vendor Mohawk. they have no idea what they are doing. Took my order, took my money. Told me a delivery date of 2 weeks. Then at the 2 week mark told me another 3 weeks. They waited until then to tell me. horrible customer service”
