“Purchased a fridge freezer and it is defective. They work with KnowHow, a horrible company, who hung up on us and wouldn't discuss the matter. Their engineer came out and tried to say it was fine to have a fridge's temperature go above 5 Celsius, even though their own website (and Curry's) clearly states the temp should be below 5 Celsius. This engineer said it's fine up to 8 Celsius and refused to list our appliance as having a problem. Meanwhile, we've had to toss out half of our food, due to possibility of bacteria growth! We are within our rights of a 30 day refund but are getting nowhere. Will take legal action.”

“Spoke to a Curry's representative on Friday afternoon to obtain the 'price match' that they boast about on their web site for a Bosch microwave that I wished to purchase. He said a member of their sales team would 'phone me soon to trigger this and take my order. A full 24 hours later I've still not heard from anybody and have just ordered from another company. A very, very poor show from Curry's and I'll never use them again.”

“Ordered click and collect and they sold the item before I arrived, clearly someone wanted their sales bonus. But was that all. No, firstly they took my money and then told me they didn't have it. 45 mins later they arranged a delivery and then had the audacity to charge me the delivery fee. They failed on at least five occasions and customer service number is useless. They just pass you around.”

“I purchased a gaming tablet for my youngest son, the actual transaction was very simple, the delivery was just as described and the after care when I needed it was very straightforward to use. I would highly recommend Currys/pc world, the customer service department, which is uk based, was also very helpful more recently when trying to source another electrical item. all round a great consumer experience”

“Three weeks after buying a kenwood fridge freezer i am still chasing missing parts i have been asked to order parts and its been a nightmare 9 phone calls 4 store visits and a day off work waiting for an engineer with more missing parts nobody at Know How owns the problem they just dont care when they have your cash .”

“Online order... should be simple... took them two weeks to order a cooker from the factory... I have had to make over 13 separate calls to sort it out, delivered... nearly 3 weeks later in a package that I woldnt even send bubble wrap in... 2 grands worth of cooker... wise up please. The delivery guys was were very good though, as were two of the customer service team I spoke to the rest were poor and unhelpful.”

“The company that was supposed to deliver the microwave from Currys didn't. They said no one was home and they had put a card through the door. We stayed home all day and there was no card. I cancelled the order as I was not about to wait in for another no deliver. The customer service people at Currys were brilliant. They were genuinely apologetic. Ok things went wrong, but Currys took me seriously and have sent a lovely email saying they are sorry. That is worth 5 stars in my book.”
