“This was the tastiest Red Velvet I’ve ever had. The layers were so perfect and balanced, and the taste was really soft and easy to eat. I’m big on textures and loved how nicely they blended. Everyone went for seconds! The delivery was super smooth and the website was really easy to order from.”

“Although we enjoyed the flavour of the cake, the cake itself was not fresh, which was quite disappointing since we ate it the same day we collected it. Another disappointment is being charged for delivery to your own shop. When I order from other bakeries, click-and-collect or delivery to their own brand location is free.”

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback 💕 We’re pleased to hear you enjoyed the rich chocolate and caramel flavour, although we’re sorry the texture of the cake wasn’t what you expected. 💛 As outlined in our cake care instructions, our cakes should be brought fully to room temperature before serving. This allows the sponge and buttercream to soften to their intended texture, as serving the cake too cold can make the sponge feel firmer and more prone to crumbling when cut. Unfortunately as you have ordered online for delivery, the delivery fee will be charged, however you are able to get in touch with us to arrange a free collection from our store depending on availability. We’d really like to look into your experience further, so please contact our Customer Care team at hello@cutterandsquidge.com with your order details and photos of the cake. We’ll be happy to help and see what we can do to put things right 💕
