“I had ordered cupcakes as a gift which were greatly appreciated by the recipient, although I requested a specific time slot it was delivered early. Customer services refunded my delivery costs as a goodwill gesture which was appreciated.”

“I ordered a cake all the way from the United States for my boyfriend who lives in London, and Andrew made the experience flawless! While I had already chosen the cake, Andrew went out of his way to ensure every detail was perfect. His friendly and attentive service made everything so easy, even from across the ocean. My boyfriend absolutely loved the cake—he said it was the best he’s ever had, not too sweet, just perfect and delicious. Huge thanks to Andrew and the Cutter & Squidge team for making his birthday so special!”

“I ordered a 30th cake about 2 weeks in advance. On the day I had a message from DHL to say they will deliver to the restaurant. They never did, restaurant was open from 8am and fully staffed. I make countless phone calls to the company all afternoon and although we were only in London they did nothing to send out another cake nor call me back with a solution. Don't know why they need your phone number when you order the cake if they won't use it when they have a delivery problem. Very disappointed to not have a celebration cake.”

“The cake was eaten the day after delivery so it was surprising that it was very dry and dense. The buttercream was generous but there was only a scrape of jam. Disappointing for the price.”

“I ordered two cakes for a joint birthday party for myself and some friends. The cakes were couriered the day before I needed them and arrived nice and cool, in perfect condition by 10:00 am. The Vegan Chocolate Cake is delicious - truly one of the nicest vegan cakes I have ever had, and the Passionfruit and Pistachio was a crowd favourite! Cutter and Squidge truly are a great team with beautiful products - thank you for making this event so special :)”

“I ordered a cake expecting it to arrive in time for my birthday as when I have previously ordered from Cutter and Squidge my cakes have always been delivered either the day before or on the morning of delivery. My cake arrived past 21:00 - well outside of the delivery window, and myself and my guests were left without a cake for my party. I actually called customer service the day before (I had to call twice as every time I reached number 1 in the call queue, the call ended itself for no apparent reason) as I was concerned due to the lack of communication regarding my delivery and they simply told me to wait until the courier contacted me. I understand that delivery is outside of the bakery's control but I am so incredibly disappointed at this entire experience. My cake had been sat in a van on a warm day for over twelve hours and arrived looking a little worse for wear before I was able to get it to the fridge. This is not the usual quality service I have experienced from C&S before”

“Delicious cake exactly as ordered and better than described. Delivery was as promised and thoroughly communicated. Packaging was almost all recyclable but plenty sturdy to protect the contents. Couldn't have been more satisfied with my ordering or eating experiences.”

“Can you do a no star review? Delivery just left somewhere, no accurate POD. Customer Service just fob you off. Probably great cakes etc, but no idea. If you are looking for a reliable supplier that will deliver, especially to businesses, I would recommend going elsewhere. You pay a premium for decent delivery and service and.....nothing. Such a shame, but essentially it's a people thing and they don't want to help if something goes wrong.”
