“My brownies were somehow not sent out. This happens, and would not have been not a big deal; however, when I emailed asking where they were and explaining that I’d checked the tracking and they were well beyond a reasonable postage delay, I got a vapid GenAI response that did not address any of my points (because it can’t, because it doesn’t _understand_ anything), told me incorrect information, and left me - frankly - fuming. I had to then phone up to speak to a human to get the brownies re-sent, which they finally were. The fact you used a garbage GenAI system to provide customer “service” wasted my time, was a moral injury to me, and is a red flag for using your company again.”

I’m sorry that our AI support added frustration — it’s really just our little digital concierge, here to offer immediate help by checking tracking, order details, and anything clear and factual. But sometimes it can miss a crumb (it is a robot, after all!), and that’s when one of our humans steps in. I’ve reviewed your interaction, and the information provided was based on the tracking data available, and your ticket was passed to a human agent right away. Still, I completely understand how it felt in the moment, and I’m sorry for the stress it caused. “Ordered a tiramisu cake and personalized chocolate disc for my husbands birthday. The cake was absolutely gorgeous. I was a little worried about it being damaged in transit but needn’t have as it came so well boxed and in perfect condition. I accidentally chose the wrong delivery information and this was quickly rectified with a real person (after a bit of a chat with the AI 🤖!) Would definitely order again in future”

“I didn't find the ordering section of the website very easy, but otherwise all went well apart from the candles which seemed to get lost in the system, possibly the delivery”

“Cake was absolutey delicious, however the incorrect delivery address was annoying and caused me much time trying to locate it. Would recommend not updating the delivery addresses provider by the customer as this is what caused the issue.”

“Have ordered these twice as presents and they have been delivered very efficiently. Recipients have said they've been very nice but I can't vouch for this. Get an annoying number of emails from them so unsubscribed and then they ask for a review. Update....now had 5 emails asking .e to update the review! ironic as main complaint was about the number of emails....so I will review the rating down 👇”
