“I ordered a raspberry and elderflower cake but sadly what showed up at my door was a Victoria sponge! No notification of the substitution from C&S so that I would have had the opportunity to cancel/amend my order. Phoned up and they said they had substituted because the cake I ordered was limited edition and no longer available - but was actually still listed for sale that day! They didn’t offer a refund but offered to send out a new cake, which I accepted but in hindsight should have pushed for a refund. The replacement cake was very mediocre and I won’t order from them again after this. Plenty of places do cakes via post these days that are better value and tastier in my experience.”

“Almost messed up the delivery, I paid extra to get it delivered between 1-5pm, and even added it to the notes, and they still somehow messed up. They tried to deliver at 9am on the day when no one was there, had to find an alternative place to get it deliver to.”

“Great products as always. I was a little concerned as the outside box was damaged and the delivery driver had left by a gate and not by the door. However the cakes were well wrapped and were perfect.”

“The cake was amazing and I’m impressed that they allow next day delivery. However I was most impressed by the delivery driver who delivered my cake. I wasn’t home during the delivery time due to a miscommunication and the driver worked with me to ensure the cake was left in a safe place and went out of his way to shelter it as much as possible, and called and sent me a picture afterward. Fantastic service and fantastic product.”
