“Avoid CVmaker – Unauthorized Charges and Deceptive Practices
I had an extremely disappointing experience with CVmaker. After using their service once to create a single CV for a small fee of 1.99 leva, they continued to charge me for 11 months without my knowledge or consent, withdrawing a total of 420 leva (over 200 euros). I never received any notification, reminder, or email about these recurring charges, nor did I use their services beyond the initial CV creation.
This feels like a deceptive business practice designed to trick customers into ongoing payments without proper consent. They make it easy to sign up for a low cost but then silently charge your card monthly for services you never requested or used.
I strongly advise others NOT to use CVmaker or to enter any card details on their site. It”
“Be careful with this scamers. I have done a cv with cvmaker and I paid what I was asked. After that they debited my account 20 euros for 4 months until I have noticed. Now they don't want to returned my money. They are scamers. they're earning their money lying and stealing. Shame!!
Cvmaker is what it is..
Stealing money from people card is the only way to earn money. You have taken the sume wich the bank allow.. 99.99 roni until 20 euros the banks allowed with out me to be notified. On your website does not say that. As I said you are gypsy and you leave from Stealing. I have done the cv on English cvmaker where you don't see what is behind the black screen. Refund the money you have been stolen. Nobody can be so stupid to pay you 20 euros per month for nothing. I payd once for the cv and that's it. Would you pay me 20 euros for nothing? I don't think so! You business is based on stealing, on English website does not show the price. I will let everyone know that, your business is not o purpose of education or whatever you are saying, your website or business is purpose to steal money. You show how lower you can go. Trying to trick people for pence o cents. When you cached people's cards, you steal the money. You should ask who pays you, before stealing. They need money for drugs. How many vv s they need to sale to make a bit of money?? This is the only way to steal money.”
“I bought a CV from them and they tried to overcharge each month for like 3 month, lucky me that I probably made few moves that I outsmarted them...
1- I use another card from a different bank for online purchases (than the card CVMaker has)
2- I disabled online purchases from the said card (that CVMaker has)
3- I leave the card empty on purpose while I have another account that I save my money in (that isn't connected to the "stolen card")
I have emails where CVMaker are begging me to pay them the "Outstanding Amount"
lmao f*** you and kiss my a**”
“Scam. They charge charge £2 to create a cv and then they just steal £20 from your account for a “subscription” you did not agree to. Already reporting the company to trading standards. Disgusting people.”
“They had been charging me for 22 months with 16.95 euros every month. And of course I never agreed with that. I talked with the dispute department of my bank and they made the cvmaker.com to refund me. However, they sent me back the money they charged me for 14 months, and not for 22. I sent them an email saying that 8 months are still missing and they told me that what I did is illegal and if I don't send them the money again, they will sue me.
By the way, there is another platform that publish our reviews and they don't accept anymore reviews about the cvmaker.com as these scammers are promising refunds to everyone had left a review there.”
“This company is an absolute disgrace and should be ashamed of themselves. They trick you into making a single purchase and then take money from your account. I would advise anyone against using this company. I will be taking this matter further to get a refund of £19.99 for a service that is not needed nor did I want. I will be including my MP and the ombudsman with this matter as I can clearly see on their reviews that I am not the only one they have done this scam to”
“I almost lost my investment capital and profits trading online, they wouldn’t process my withdrawal request . All efforts to reach out to their customer support desk had declined, I found it very hard to move on. God so kind I followed a broadcast that teaches on how scammed victims can recover their fund through the help of Mrs. Roberts Lee a recovery specialist, I contacted Her email provided for consultation, I got feedback after some hours and I was asked to provide all legal details concerning my investment, I did exactly what they instructed me to do without delay, to my greatest surprise I was able to recover my money back including my profit which my capital generated. I said I will not hold this to myself but share it to the public so that all scammed victims can get their funds back. Contact their mail

“A professional thief site, I charged for a week, and after I found out, they deducted the entire amount for a month from my account. And then they say it is in our laws! No information is given that will be deducted automatically, except for a small notice in the rules of the site, Cheksi has time to read a page of rules for one hour of using the site.?”
“I was Scammed by CVmaker.comI Sign up on April 15, 2024 at website and made a CV paying $1.82 for the CV.
I was not informed at any moment that it was automatically a subscription, and they DID NOT say at any moment that I will be charged monthly. And for what? Nothing.
I was charged in 2024 April $23.46 and now in 2024 May, $23.46 when I noticed and canceled on my own only by clicking deactivate account.
Even then, I was not sure if deactivating my account will cancel my subscription.
I asked for the money back but they said that their policy blla blla blla.”
“At first it only shows 1.5 dollar to make an CV . After paying 1.5 dollar after a week message pops up that CV makers have deducted 20 dollars from your account due to subscription.
This is totally scam fraud. I will report in more places”
“Be aware, big scam!!! I was charged with almost 400 euros eventually. I found out the hard way and they didn't even give me back the 17 euros they had charged minutes before I contacted them. They use templates to reply to the emails as they don't care at all about your concern. I had to cancel my card too but I'm not sure I'm protected still.
Edit: after I started sharing reviews, the amount I had paid of 14 months (while I was charged for 22). The money seem to have been sent to me by them, however I don't exclude the possibility for them to have been refunded through my bank. I thought (and I'm pretty sure) they are the one that took actions and sent them back, as I read another's review claiming that they give you your money back to make you delete your review. So I sent them an email telling them that I didn't received the whole amount back (only 14/22 months) an they replied with what you can read in this screenshot”

“Marrreerr teapa iti introduci datele cardului si iti iau bani din cont!! Faceti urgent charge back la banca! La 3 charge back uri o sa le inchida contul si aveti si sansa sa va recuperati banii! Asa am facut eu charge back la banca, plangere la politie si plangere EEC, centrul european al consumatorilor, precizati si ca firma nu v a emis factura pe sumele platite si ca nu exista afisate datele firmei sau numar de telefon de contact!”
“Misleading practices, after the 7 day trial period if you have no money on the card used instead of cancelling the billing they will just create an outstanding bill which they force you to pay if you want to cancel the subscription”
“It's a scam. They ask you to pay $1 for a one time download, but then start charging recurring fees without disclosing the terms and conditions clearly. Horrible service.”
