The website makes you give them your email address under the guise that they will send you a PDF version (which you opt in to pay for, I paid $3). They then create an account for you with a password that they generate and then mention in passing that you have been subscribed to their service (without you opting in). They then charge you the subscription fee after the “$3 trial” which they do not mention is a trial when you enter your details. They also very conveniently do not follow US laws as they do not send you renewal reminders with the charge amount, renewal date and the option to unsubscribe. This is all so disappointing because I actually like the CV I generated and I was happy paying the $3 for the service. I do not recommend this site due to the way they operate with people’s hard earned money. The same people who are trying hard to get their CVs right to better their lives and financial situations.

Page that should help people make their CV, but hiddenly tricking deperate and broke people. Most of people who pay for stupid 2,99$ are desperate people looking for a job, a you take advantage of people who relies and believes that page just want to help them build better future. They believe that page like this would not trick them and hiddenly draw money out of them. And the page that offers help, scams people in mean and petty way.

thievesThey said they would only charge $2 as written on the site, and in the same month, they charged another $25. It’s a recurring monthly subscription I wish I had read reviews before purchasing. This site is ran by scumbags I had to cancel my banking card and take into account that I’m in a third war country, so $25 is a lot from where i’m from. This site needs to be taken down immediately the business they run is unethical I hate scammers!!!

High level and polished / devious scammers beware. I signed up for a CV for myself as applied for a charity job in February 2023. All fine got a template paid a few pounds, filled it in myself and sent it off to a company. Did all the work myself after all was just getting a blank template. On sign up and welcome email you have absolutely no idea you are rolling into a £18.95 a month subscription service which they say is for storing your CV and allowing you to edit it - joke - So it's one of those unless you explicitly ask to cancel (but why would you when you haven't agreed to a subscription) you will get charged. Sadly as we are a busy family with a kid and loads of transactions we just didn't pick up on it till a few months down the line plus it was via a card and not seen it as it wasn't a standard direct debit we just didn't see it. I wrote to them and said I was cancelling it - didn't trust them so called my bank and stopped card, even changed my card as said they were a scam. Dialoging with them verbally is impossible - whether in UK or Holland they never ever ever answer the phone - and online they robotically just say you should have read the terms and conditions - I am calling them scammers because on the sign up page and on their first email welcome you don't know absolutely at all you've signed up for a rolling subscription - they don't want to give even a £1 back now- I looked at their Uk - London address and it is just a box - so they can be operating from anywhere in the world - In fact when I emailed them saying I will take them to court for the £170 they owe me they say and I quote from an email "we will ignore any further messages from you" there seems to be unfortunately a huge amount of people cheated in the same way looking at various review sites about them and I will now make it my mission to notify all appropriate business support companies as possible like DTI and office of fair trading, also will be emailing as many educational establishments as possible and recruitment companies warning about this company - they act very arrogantly and just trot out their "you can't touch us because of our terms and conditions" so I am doing my level best to bring them back to earth a bit and have enough time on my hands to do just that.

Silent auto-renewals... Fortunately, Revolut blocked the transactions, then sent me a notification + blocked the card and issued a new one for free. I normally use one-time / virtual cards in online transactions. The site's high ranking a low entry threshold is unlikely to cause me to seek reviews before using the service :-(

I wish everybody could read these reviews before making a CV on the site. I genuinely didn’t think i will ever get scammed by making a CV. I bought two CVs for 0.99c which was an amazing price initially. After a few days they charged me 24.99€. I immediately looked into it and wrote them an e-mail about what was this purchase for? It’s an insane amount of money for 2 CVs imo. Meanwhile i checked their site- and there it was. Somewhere sneakily hidden that as you use and pay- their site automatically charges you for a monthly subscription. Okay I cancelled it. They wrote me back in 2 hours, “your subscription has been cancelled”. I was like okay, it was my fault for not checking this I cannot argue with them about that since they don’t even do refunds, but at least I have a confirmation that it has been cancelled . I let it go, since I cancelled it, it was over right? No. This morning they charged me again for 24.99€. AFTER I CANCELLED. and. It has been five days. 5. Five fkn days not even a month! And I shouldn’t even be mentioning this since i CANCELLED the subscription. I immediately wrote them an e-mail and sent them a screenshot about wth is this? Suddenly they are acting deaf. Total radiosilence, but they were quick to write me an e-mail before, acting all high and mighty. Now i have to completely change my card lol. They will probably try to charge me like Netflix or other monthly subscriptions I have. Fk this site im literally looking for a job and in this economy and my country 50€ is a huge amount of money. I feel horrible but what can I do now? I wish nothing but the same on scammers like this.

Fraudsters, unethical scammers. They set up this site to trick people into giving their credit card and then they sign you up to their services and charge you monthly. they even take the email you write in the CV and open an account with it without your consent. They refuse to refund the "subscription", only way to get your money back is to do a chargeback with your bank with reference to all the people who got scammed in the same way. takes a few weeks but eventually you will get your money back as they are proven to be scamming thousands of people with this method.

BE CAREFUL! You think you're paying £2 for a CV/template but they actually have hidden fees of £19. They then refuse to refund the money. Stay away!

SCAM. Massive false advertisement. There are shady and incredibly unethical business practices going on with this website. Avoid at all costs. The websites claims that there are two models for your account, a free service, which claims to "Create and edit your CV, Free account to save your CV" and a subscription service. I built my CV and went to save it to my computer, then a paywall block came up. I thought, well I've already made this effort. Might as well pay the low cost of £1.95 so it doesn't go to waste. Worst idea. This payment of £1.95, nowhere clearly stated, enables them to sign you up for a subscription service for nearly £20 a month. £20 A MONTH! This is nowhere clearly stated on the site. I've talked to the live chat support to obtain a refund and they told me that they can't do this, as their terms are stated in an email received after the first payment to download your CV. Is this ethical? Hiding a subscription service and not telling you until you've already paid for a product? Where the fee is nothing more than authorization to charge your bank account £20 a month for a service that somebody is never going to use. Avoid at all costs. Worst company.
