“Ordered shoes for husband for our holiday 2 weeks ago, should've been delivered next day but hermes advised, street name on label missing, couldn't take details from me, had to be from debenhams!
After numerous emails with debenhams, wait 24 hours, wait another 24 hours, wait another 5 days, yesterday, I've been asked to wait another 7 days!
Hermes are no better, they just ignore the incidents being raised on their automated system!

“Ordered two double duvets, one for my guest bedroom so didn't open the package for a couple of weeks. When I did found one of them was a single duvet. Contacted so-called Customer Services (surely the name is an offence under Trade Descriptions Act) asking them to refund my card with the difference in cost between a single duvet I received and the double one I ordered. After several emails where they wittered on and on about timescales, they have refused to do anything at all. Refunding monies for overcharging has nothing to do with their timescales and doesn't override the ale of goods act 2015 of the Consumer Goods Act. My advice: Avoid Debenhams like the plague.”

I heard nothing and sent many emails.Once I was told they received one item and they will investigate further.Weeks have passed no refund and now I cannot email It is closed to complaints no phone no no emails.Yet they advertise to sell more items .Please help me to recover my money from Debenhams .

“Ordered 4 items. 2 arrived plus 1 incorrect one (socks!). Customer services refused to send me my missing items or refund me until I returned at my expense the item that was sent to me in error. In desperation to resolve this after about 10 days of emails, I even offered to buy the socks so that they would send me my missing items but they blankly refused. They have stolen my money and I’m at a loss now as to what I can do apart from warn others. DO NOT BUY from Debenhams.com.”
“This is most definitely not the Debenhams that has been a British institution over many years it's now run by a scandalous and apalling group of people who behave disgracefully towards customers.
Have made 3 orders in the last month and each time has become progressively apalling. The first order arrived damaged and after arguing vehemently I was given a refund
The second order was made by next day delivery and it didn't turn up until 3 days later again no real apology apart from being offered a free delivery code, just blamed the delivery company and took no responsibility
This most recent order made on Friday again by next day delivery still hasn't arrived, contacted them on the Saturday and advised them it hadn't arrived they gave me this pathetic story full of lies and fabrication that it wasn't if you ordered before 11pm as advertised all over their website to get it next day but actually 9pm and they actually think customers will accept their lies
Told them I was not accepting that and after initially refusing to escalate to a manager eventually did, the manager messaged me telling me what they said was correct and they were not liable for anything until 8pm yesterday (Sunday) and would deal with it if not delivered by then
As expected still no delivered package yesterday so now it's 2 days late, contact them to advise and get no reply
Wake up this morning (Monday) to get an email from Debenhams via Hermes saying my delivery had been returned and thanking me for returning the package when I hadn't even received it
Debenhams have no official complaints procedure which I find amazing and hard to believe and are not regulated by any body or appropriate ombudsman
This means they can do and treat customers however they want and you have absolutely zero comeback when they treat you like this
They are a disgrace of a company”

However this morning I received an email from the courier to say it was out for delivery and it’s perfect! I must be one of the lucky ones.
