Overall a good shop but website could be so much better. Lack of sizes, weights, dimensions and all the rest. Need to pay more attention on this and website could be brilliant.

I bought a very cheap pair of kids trainers for myself £7.99 and every time I wear them someone says they like them where did I get them! Biggest bargain ever I love them.

Overall I like the value and variety that Decathlon offers. The website and stores are usually pretty good but the App for android is rubbish! the search function is far to complicated.

You need to use a better Courier service than DHL, all the problems lay with them not Decathlon

Having recently ordered an equipment bag via the website, i was very impressed with the ease of ordering and delivery time. I was also delighted with my purchase as the quality of the product exceeded my expectations and gave excellent value for money. I will most certainly use Decathlon again.

My delivery didn't arrive from Royal Mail, I contacted Decatlon and have to say their Customer Care was 5* polite, pleasant and did not take ages to get through. Resent my order without a quibble. Fantastic prices and customer aftercare..

I was very pleased to find an excellent entry level bike for my wife in the Triban 520 however the customer experience at Decathlon could be improved. We made the order online together and paid with her credit card. I received a confirmation that the order was placed and waited for the item to arrive in two days. When it didn't arrive after 4 days, I rummaged through my email to find one saying "Request information for your order DCUK2361551" that then informed me "We regularly carry out checks on the identities and billing addresses that we are sent. This is in place for the purpose of protecting our customers from fraud." request two pieces of ID. When I called up to find out the problem, there was a mismatch between my name and my wife's name on the credit card, fair enough, but why email something that is holding up a £500 order...wouldn't you phone the person? Couldn't change the credit card so then had to cancel and reorder and was told "Your estimated collection date is the 11/06/16". We live a distance away from Croydon so can only get there at the weekend, arrived at 2pm on the day to be told the bike hadn't arrived....the collection date was only 'estimated'. Fortunately as we were leaving we took a look at the bikes, got chatting to the mechanic and discovered that the bike was in but hadn't been assembled....he was working on it on the stand in front of us! The mechanic and the till staff were excellent but the process of managing the customer by email could be improved and brought into line with other online operators. Nothing Decathlon did was technically wrong but because the style of communication I presume is adapted from the way they do it in France, it is not suited to UK users...I would expect a problem with my credit card to be flagged in big red letters not 'request information', I expect the delivery date to have a time on it, otherwise I expect it to be the earliest the store opens on the said date, otherwise only tell me when it is in, particularly for click and collect when you know people are making a journey.

Ordered a tent on the Tuesday and arranged for next day delivery to store, when I checked my account on the Wednesday the order has been cancelled due to a system error. Reordered tent and paid for next day delivery, customer services confirmed that it would be received before the weekend. Not received on Thursday, customer services advised a delay at the warehouse, promised it would be dispatched same day. Spoke to courier on the Friday and was advised that the rent would not arrive before the weekend. Checked website and reserved the same tent at a store further away, when I got there I was advised that the tent was not in stock and hadn't been for weeks. Ended up having to buy a more expensive tent for the camping trip. Utterly awful website, staff in store were great but were again hampered by the god awful system. Will never again use Internet shopping for Decathlon.

Been using decathlon for a while now, both in store and on-line. I love the store, so full of great products and an even greater range is available on-line with a few clicks of the mouse. I like the fact my parcel come Royal Mail tracked because I know our Postman will look after my package, I with the track facility I know where it is. Decathlon are great.

Spent £3.99 on Royal Mail next day delivery. Item shown it stock! Was then told post check out likely to arrive 5 days after ordering, the day before I needed the item. However item wasn't delivered on that day, I went on holiday. received a phone call from family to say it arrived.... 8 days after ordering! £3.99 to take 8 days to deliver?!?!? Not value for money in my opinion!!!!

Great value for money. I ordered walking boots and a pair of walking sandals. I simply love the sandals, I wear them as often as I can. I'm considering ordering more.
