“Quality items at a fair price. The same and, sometimes, better quality and value to named brands. Love the Quechua clothing and trail backpacks etc. Less choice than there used to be of Quechua trail running clothing and footwear. Pity because that was tremendous value and quality.”

“It's a bit frustrating and disappointing that have to pay for delivery. I think it's free after you buy a certain amount (£70?) but this is very high. Other companies offer free delivery regardless of size and value (TREDZ for example). At least have free delivery for anything over £5 say. I have not placed orders with decathlon and gone elsewhere because of the delivery charge. I would buy more from decathlon if there was no delivery charge. A limited amount of choice: for example, I want to buy some MTB cycling shoes but you don't appear to have any in your collection. However, I appreciate that you cover a lot of different sports and activities and that you don't specialize in one particular area. Best point is good value for money.”

“Bought a shortie wetsuit to swim in the sea early summer as its far too cold. Product is amazing and excellent quality ive enjoyed many swims since. Would definately buy again . Good price and fast delivery”

“I am a great fan of Decathlon and have been a customer of the stores in France for many years. It is only fairly recently that I have been using the U.K. online facility and in general have been very satisfied with both the price/quality of the products and the service. However where the website does fall down is in answering customer queries. Twice I have asked questions via the website and on each occasion I have either been given incorrect information or have not received a proper answer despite making my questions absolutely clear. On the one occasion it could have caused me considerable annoyance and a wasted journey of 240 miles if I hadn't double checked by telephoning the store I was directed to before starting what would have been a wasted journey. It's as if the person responding simply wants to clear their in-tray as quickly as possible without proper consideration to the questions asked. Yet the system still wants me to score the service provided.”

“I has a pair of wellington boots that were great to wear but split after five months. Decathlon swapped these for an alternative pair and sent them out quickly (although the delivery company was slow). The customer service team were friendly and helpful.”

“Ordered 4 swim tshirts on the 22/5/16 for my holiday which started on the 1/6/16. Items did not arrive until the afternoon of the 1/6 after I had left for airport. I was extremely disappointed!!! T shirts good quality but speed of delivery was extremely poor!!!”

“Awful service. I ordered a number of items as a present for my niece for her birthday. It turns out one of the items was out of stock (this was not made obvious on the website). Rather than deliver the other items, it transpires the whole order was held back to wait for the out of stock item (without checking with me first). By the time the out of stock item had arrived, two further items had become unavailable and so when my order finally arrived, very late, it was incomplete. I had no correspondence to inform me of any of this - I had to contact you a number of times (no one answered my email, so I eventually had to go through the telephone system) and the whole experience has left me vowing to never order from decathlon online ever again!”

“We brought our son his horse riding boots and hat from here and they are fantastic. Where he goes horse riding everyone is commenting on his hat and cant believe it when I tell them how much I paid. Told them about decathlon and how good the prices are.”
