“I regret that I must write this negative review of an otherwise positive experience with Decathlon over the last 8 years I have lived in Rome, Italy. But now I am compelled to tell you that I find your sizing and access to women's wetsuits to be unnecessarily sexist. 1) Your Rome-based stores do not even supply women's wetsuits, so I am forced to purchase online a wetsuit, item unseen or tried on, from the UK stores. 2) Your ageist, sexist sizings do NOT ALLOW active larger women like myself access to ANY wetsuits from your company. I am a 48-50 or XL to 2XL in size and your wetsuits do not come close to what my height and weight require. I am surprised, disappointed, and disgusted by your limitations towards maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I now have to reach across the Atlantic to the USA for my suit - for my health- and for my birthday. Shame on you guys. I cannot but see Decathlon now for what it really is: behind the times, inflexible, unimaginative, stuck in the perverted view that women are no more than mainstream sports 'girls'. I happened to be a 60 year old swimmer who has no intention of letting fall and winter weather get in my way. Sadly, you are now in my way and thus you have lost an otherwise previous loyal customer. “Poor customer service and dishonest staff. I had couple faulty bike and after visiting the store in lakeside I received a poor welcome and bad workmanship. Manager lied about their stock and never seems to fulfil their promise. I eventually manage to make the purchased I trying so long to make in the Surrey Quays branch and no one bothered to text or email me to say the order was read. I picked the bike up on Monday October 17 only to discovered the following day that the gave me a bike that has a puncture. I did not ride the bike so I know it came puncture from the shop.”

“I've used Decathlon both for mail order and over the counter in their store in Barcelona. As for the service and products in Barcelona I can only say top class from the staff dealing with my queries, buying great goods at such value and the shop's location. As for buying the Easybreath mask the service was great both on the original order and getting the replacement after a fault developed. The only problem I've with Decathlon is that they don't distribute directly to the Republic of Ireland ???????? by mail order and your sales would go through the roof if so. ???????????????????????”
