“The store staff of Decathlon Wandsworth is always nice and helpful. Decathlon also has so far the best quality matched with reasonable price. “I purchased a pair of Golfing Wellington Boots. delivery was far quicker than expected. Near the top of the boots there is a firm ridge around the boot; you must wear something that will prevent this from rubbing your upper calf or you will end up very sore. Once I realised this and took appropriate action - thick socks and trousers tucked in - the boots were extremely comfortable. Someone else commented that because they are uni-sex he found the legs tight. I have quite thick calves because of the wide variety of sports I play and had no such problem. I have slipped a couple of times and wish that the studs were (a) longer and (b) changeable. They will wear out eventually and it is a pity that I shall have to buy a new pair of boots instead of just new studs. Overall, I am delighted and will replace them when necessary. It's a pity that the Decathlon store in Harlow does not stock Golf stuff.”
