“Never even heard of Decathlon (not great on shopping personally) but discovered them on line and ordered some stuff. I was a bit confused with the sizing but very impressed on quality and price of the clothing we bought. Then discovered the store at Botley. Wow. Totally hooked.”

“Well thought out product, is missing age guidance and bow draw weight. I thought it would be a good entry into archery for my 4 year old son, he's doing well with it, but the draw weight is too great for him to use it effectively.”

“Excellent website, although I'd improve on explaining what the items are. For instance I bought some panties, but these were way too big. Also I bought some flip flip "uppers" but I thought these were "whole" flip flops. It costs too much many to sent back, so I didn't. Hence I'd buy again only if I am sure about the items, for instance I have used them/same size before. That is why I only put a *** review, not for the quality of the products, which would deserve more - if only you could buy them easily.”

“Great bike great delivery service, however the sales assistants attitude in store was really poor as soon as he realised it was the lower end of the market bike we was wanting he very quickly lost interest in helping us, very very poor sevice from him, to the point that we left the store and orderd on line, the product and delivery was great altho the box was slightly damaged, but the bike was not damaged in any way and very easy to put the final bits together.”

“These comments relate to your Edinburgh store. 1. Unable to telephone the store during opening hours. 2. When collecting my new bike staff went on dinner break leaving the bike unfinished. 3. After 1.5 hours waiting for the bike to be assembled the bike was found to be damaged. 4. At home the first time the bike was used it was found to have broken gears. 5. Unable to telephone the store to report this fault. An answering machine told me that the store was closed when it was open. 6. Called Customer services at head office who supplied a "Duty" phone number so I could contact the Edinburgh store. To summarise: Negatives 1. Unable to contact an open store. 2. Product damaged in transit and not tested before I took it home. 3. Product faulty 4. Some staff were very unhelpful. Positives 1. Customer services listened 2. Some staff were very helpful. 3. Refunded immediately. I do not intend to shop at Decalthon in the near future.”

“I paid my items...and I'm still waiting for them...not on the shop...not at home...now sending me again to the shop...is the worst customer service EVER!!!I won't use the online shopping in decathlon ever again. Completely DISASTER!!!”

“Good helpful staff at the wednesbury (jct 9) branch, who provide good customer service. Wide range of products for indoor and outdoor sports. I highly recommend that you visit this store for your sporting needs.”

“Bike was good, almost fully assembled and in a box several times its size. other items not as described. my pumps were an infants size 10 not an adults as they should have been, what thought bras were bra straps! and my other pumps nice but pigskin where synthetic material should have been :( did not return cos of cost/hassle”
