“Decathlon supplied a pair of Btwin 500 Mountain bike Cycling Shoes and these were paid for using Paypal. The Decathlon product replaced a pair of Vittoria MS6 mtb shoes. The Decathlon mtb shoe size fit was perfect and the delivery and payment experience in line with the current market. Although I alter the heels of my mtb shoes to make them solid, as a regular office shoe, using a fibre-glass insert and stick-on-heel, this is not reviewe here. Decathlon must be in any shortlist for cycling kit and the Btwin 500 mtb shoes are suitable for wearing with casual black trousers working 12 hour shifts on a concrete floor.”

“I had a problem with an item I ordered, it wasn't in stock. The customer service team was excellent they replaced it with a similar item, then the order came very quickly. Will definitely use them again.”

“I went online and ordered a safety helmet for my daughter. I paid for item and received an email confirming when it was ready to collect. I went to the store a few days later and showed the email confirmation to a very nice gentleman who promptly got me the item and I left. I couldn't believe how easy and organised it was. A great way to deal with customer and I wouldn't hesitate in using this service again.”

“Had my bike a while now. Couldn't fault the delivery time as it arrived within days of ordering. Fairly easy set up, although I can't quite get the handle bars tight enough. As my first road bike I can't compare it to anything else but it rides great and gets up to speed relatively quickly. One problem I have encountered is that the gears don't appear to be set up correctly. When in top gear and you go to change down (the big ring) it doesn't change down the the gear below and you have to drop right down to the bottom cog to come back u. This is quite frustrating if you're approaching traffic or a roundabout or something and need to get back up to speed quickly. I also ordered a helmet, lock, lights, shorts and tightsand they are all of great quality and I would highly recommend them to anyone starting out. All in all I have been impressed totally with the quality of the bike and the products I ordered together with the sales service from decathlon but aftercare is pretty poor. This review would be 5 star if I could get the gear situation sorted out.”

“I found it difficult to find a member of staff to help me. I have left the store on several occasion where I have only managed to buy half of what I needed due to this. Overall though the selection and price of products and quality is great.”
