“Would have been 5 star but shoes I purchased online for £30 came up as £10 in store, but obviously no stock in store. Other than that, my review is that the staff are very knowledgeable and very helpful, the store is well laid out and altogether I would recommend Decathlon.”

“The table tennis bat is of good quality and was just what my middle grandson wanted for his 10th birthday. Delivery in good time and item well packaged. Very pleased with my purchase.”

“I bought an item online and asked to collect if from the Croydon branch. The delivery was delayed and the item was needed before the weekend for a camping trip. I called the Croydon branch and they were very useful and said the item hadn't arrived, however there could be one on the shop floor. The woman went off, found said item and reserved it behind the til so I could pick it up before my trip. I called customer services to see whether I could just pick up this item using my online reference but that wasn't possible. I had to call customer services and cancel my online order and then pay again in store. Quite a bit of hassle considering I had already paid and my item should've already arrived in store but was delayed. I had paid put £40 for a £20 item and was told I would have a refund within a week or so. Three weeks passed still no refund. I had to call customer services again to ask about my refund only to be told it hadn't been submitted properly at their end. Shop staff were friendly and I do like the store however I had a few issues with what should've been a straight forward order...”

“At. First I was a bit bit sceptical but I bought my product a spearfishing gun and I looked everywhere else and it was quite expensive but here it was very cheap which is why I was sceptical because of the price but I bought it and it was amazing I haven't tried it yet but everything looks perfect”

“I couldn't collect my order so it was returned after 7 days. I didn't get a refund though. I had to chase this 3 weeks later! Left me feeling like I wouldn't want to order again with Decathlon”

“Your online service is very poor. I made two separate orders for clothes and shoes to get to your purley way store and both of them were wrong so I had a wasted journey. Worse still is that your staff didn't seem too bothered and struggled to provide any complaint procedures for me to follow. Your products are very good and at a competitive price. The staff in store seem ok but I feel that you are always understaffed in both Canada water and croyden stores... Or maybe you just don't employ enough people?...”

“Easy to use website. Item to my satisfaction. Order despatched quickly, was using click and collect from a local store. UPS were the carriers but no emails were sent to indicate that the parcel had arrived at the store and was ready to be collected. I had to register with UPS to track this but this was a step I really didn't wish to take - why should I have to create an account ? I then received paper correspondence from UPS informing me of my account and how to send parcels etc - totally unnecessary step as I still was not informed when the parcel had arrived.”
