“we love shopping at decathlon - the only problem is since we moved to plymouth we either have to shop online or wait till we visit family in nottingham to visit in person. When will you be opening a store in the south west - Plymouth would be fab!!!”

“Have purchased items for DoE, sailing trip, and Rugby. All have been of excellent quality and on the whole, hard-wearing. Had to return a pair of running tights due to a fault after one wear; it was done without any quibble. Delivery is quick.”

“I was advised a lock for the bike I bought on that day in decathlon. The lock does not fit the bike, it is too small and not fit for purpose. I now have to go back to the site to return it, the sort is on the other side of the town. The person who mantled my bike left the handle loose and I almost had an accident when cycling on it. Also, the computer systems in store did not work and I could not purchase the bike straight away, but only order it. Poor staff had to apologise many times for this.”

“The website let me Oder an item...I waited and waited for it to come. I emailed to be told that item not in stock and would be a while but no date. I paid for it to be delivered by a certain day and wasn't given a refund despite it being decathlon's fault. When I tried to cancel it all completely as I was getting fed up, I couldn't and then got an email to say was on way. So no, not impressed with service at all”

“I opened an online account with yourselves quickly and easily done and purchased a winter jacket supposedly for next winter. But due to our lovely climate here i have had to wear it over the last bank holiday weekend and i'am very impressed with it as it kept me toastie warm and bone dry. I definately recommend your products to my friends and family.”

“I received no notification my order was ready for collection, when I collected my order a week later half of it was missing. It was then reordered and delivered ... All this took nearly 2 weeks! Would have been quicker and less handle to drive to store and buy!”

“Bought trousers for golf but like the light sailing trousers especially if it rains! Lots of pockets, quite good fit. Decathlon is very reasonable and fast delivery. Very pleased.”

“Staff in the store (Oxford) very helpful and knowledgeable. Telephone help after an online order quick and obliging. The pop-up tent I bought is superb, and the camp cooker stand unit is well designed and well made.”
