“I ordered a mountain bike and some accessories. The order went through with no problem and I waited for the delivery date that I was offered. The day came and went, and I still had no bike. I called Decathlon and spoke to a nice lady who explained that there had been a mix up as the bike I had ordered was out of stock. She offered me a couple of alternatives but I did not like the colour of either. Instead she offered me a bike from the next range up at a discounted price. This could not have worked out better for me! I got the bike I wanted, but with disc brakes and thumb shift gears for an amazing price! I'm now hitting the local trails every weekend with friends who have bikes that cost 4 times more than mine, but are really no better! Thanks Decathlon for your awesome customer service and wicked products!”

“Very nice pair of ice skates at a reasonable price. Don't seem very popular in UK=I haven't seen anyone else wearing them. Maybe if you had them in the shop...The fit is fine. Delivery could be quicker though. Overall very happy skater!!!”

“Very impressed.I have been pleased with all my purchases,not only in terms of the price of the items and the quality of the items but also with regard to the overall service.Before I made my first purchase,I contacted Customer Services for some advice.Their response was prompt,polite and very importantly,accurate.As a result,I made my first purchase.Often,the first contact with a company is the make or break point,it can be the point at which I at least,decide to purchase or to look elsewhere.I have to say,so far,so good.However,if i have one criticism it is this.I returned an item having ordered the incorrect size.It would have been helpful to know of the arrival of that item at its source.I realise that taking receipt of a returned item and then despatching the correct item takes time,it would however be of help to the purchaser to know of the receipt in the event that they should have to trace it through the GPO.All in all however I woul be happy to use Decathlon again and shall certainly do so.”

“Customer service is good to above average.Staff knowledge on lines,store layout knowledge and overall good service is also good to above average.Price of products vary from exceptionally good value to slightly above best value.Range of products is always going to have downsides as you are catering for such a wide range of products but overall still deserves an above average.Keeping an eye on must have products ,range and price placement should always be run by a blend of shopfloor staff and experienced team managers.A Warren Buffett orMike Ashley would always have a key advisor(s) to hand but the buck stops with themselves.Overall Decathlon as a shopping experience is "top banana"...”
