I had my delivery delayed for 2 weeks and no information was given to me on how to organize a delivery. Was very disappointed with the service as I am a client for two countries in Portugal and UK and never had such a bad assistance on my queries relating to the items I bought. I felt that the instructions for the bike I bought weren't helpful and I found myself having to find a way by presumption of what I thought was the right way to put the bike in the right way. And resulted on me not being able to ride my bike for that week as I asked for proper instructions and tools to put the bike up and running. That resulted on the same instructions and same bad quality tools being delivered to me so I was so not happy with that as my requests weren't answered, I then had to go to Reading store to finally have my bike looked at. I am not happy with the service and have in someway been keeping myself out of buying anything from decathlon as I said I am a great client and find myself not buying quite a lot of equipment's from you.

Initial order received, correct item but wrong size. Used online process to return and obtain correct size, again wrong size received. Didn't want to go through process again so asked for full refund which was received

I am not happy as the shoes I ordered did not arrive within a week to the selected store (yes, in store delivery!) and then the size i ordered was not the correct one! I understand there is an issue wkth eu to uk sizes, but i selected 8.5 uk and received 9 uk... Would not recommend online orders especially on shoes!!

I went to pick up my order and it wasn't complete.. The missing item was the one I most needed that same day... It was delivered the next day to my address no charge, but well.. It's the first time ever that happens that I buy something so in advance and the order it's not complete when they ask me to go and pick it up..

My Parents Bought a toddlers bike from one of your stores, within 6 months back freewheel sprocket stopped working - These bikes have a 2 yr if not im told a lifetime guarantee. Sales staff simply said no receipt no deal basically not interested at all. This is a Decathlon 14" Calipo B-twin branded kiddies bike product and its only very recently been on sale, no more than a year i suspect- Where did she think we bought the bike from? I had to get Halfords next door to take the freewheel sprocket off the back wheel to enable replacement as your bike dept couldn't find the specific tool and then purchased a new free wheel from your internet site. I bought a tent from decathlon and asked it to be shipped to a UPS drop-off point near my home. The tent arrived there and was then shipped away before I even knew it was there! Decathlon and UPS are at fault as both failed to notify me of the delivery. I then called decathlon multiple times on many of their numerous helplines and was redirected every time; to try and find out where my delivery was. Eventually, after way too long somebody finally admitted that they were at fault and not me. She then sent another tent to my billing address. This could have been avoided had home delivery been a free option from the beginning. Thankfully it arrived the day before I left for the festival I needed it for. No compensation was rewarded just a kind word from a call centre employee. Not going to be ordering from this website again.

Ordered some trainers to collect in store next day. a week went by with no confirmation email so emailed customer support. They apologised and said the order had been lost. I asked for it to be placed again, this was last week and I still haven't heard anything. Decathlon need to seriously up their game if I'm to purchase from them again.

Ordered sandals for holiday five days before hand. Received an email saying expected to be ready in store for collection in 5 days (bit excessive). Arrive on day 5 late afternoon to find they weren't there and not sure exactly when they would arrive. Cancelled the order (payment up to 7 days to get it back - bit excessive). Had to email asking why payment hadn't been recredited, which prompted Customer Service to action it within a few hours it seems. Would not rely on these guys in the future.

i spent 3hrs in decathlon croydon, after choosing a bike, the model i choose it took a total of 3 bikes of the same model before they got one to work properly. They kept changing operatives to work an the bike eventually when it was correct, they could not even dust it where it had been sitting in the rack, on reflection poor customer service could not even offer me anything to compensate me for the inconvenience because it should not have taken this long, on reflection I should have gone else where, where I think I would be better thought of

I was very unhappy with the poor service I received from yourselves. Not only did I had to wait nearly a week for my order of a wet suit but when I had my mum pick it up we were very disappointed to find you had then sent a cycling helmet. I am unsure of how you get a wet suit mixed up with a helmet. I then had to phone to complain to which I was passed on to 4 different members of staff who all claimed they didn't know how to use the system . I then had to travel all the way back to bring the helmet back only to be told you had the wet suits in stock at the store. I had already gone to sports direct to then purchase my suit. So I would say the service was extremely poor and would not use you again .

Ordered using click and collect service, 24hr delivery, goods failed to arrive. Forced to purchase in store same items, therefore had to pay twice. Took nearly one month and phone calls to credit the none delivered items.

We had an extreme lack of customer service from decathlon along with unhelpful responses for simple questions. We would never use decathlon again, Halfords ended helping us out because decathlon couldn't. Considering we had just bought a £400 tent from them i would have expected better. Stay clear and give your money to a decent customer focused business.

I recently came in to the surray quays store to buy a skateboard and a scooter for both my boys and u was showing 2in stock when I ask the staff to look cause it mite of been missed place they just said no we don't have it so I just order it online I'm a sales person my self so on my experience it was very poor even ask a manager there and he wasn't helpful as well i was spenting over two hundred pound and no one out of 3-4 people wanted to help.

The customer service experience was the worst ever. Apart from the delivery service that just does not delivery stuff. I called to know where to find a Decathlon near the area I am living in, and surprise they told that there was none near E14 0SR.....You have one near Canary Wahrf. Then I ordered online a simple bagpack, and not getting it in the time frame you said, with no news till I contacted you...but contacting you it is not a quick-response experience. Three days to get an answer back from customer service just to say that you will delivery the bag in four days. Now I understand why Decathlon is not famous in UK, and even more with the bad press that you are getting from me. Evenmore when after all of this happended noone contacted me to know about the delivery, or my experience.

I ordered size 8.5 football boots, when processed the order displayed size 5. Website error. Despite that the size was not in stock so I cancelled the initial order. I ordered a 2nd pair of size 8.5 copa mundial, and when I received the order I was sent size 8 which I then had to return to the store. Very disappointed and as a result will no longer shop at decathlon.

Poor customer service wrong power supply supplied with equipment purchased contacted customer service who sent wrong one again Numerous calls made no one returned my call took over a week of me chain decathlon to get it finally resolved I will never purchase anything from decathlon again

My bike arrived damaged, which had to be returned, then I was told it was out of stock and due in around 23rd July and so I had to wait for a replacement. I phoned 2 or 3 times after that date and was told the L and XL bikes had arrived and the M was due in soon. On my final phonecall I was told that they didn't know when the bike would be coming in in the M and that I should have been given a refund in the first place. I had now been waiting for a month! I was also told that it wasn't Decathlon's fault and it was the fault of the supplier! The customer services person I spoke to on this occasion didn't seem at all bothered at the inconvenience that I had been caused. I have been extremely disappointed and doubt whether I would ever make an online purchase from Decathlon again, certainly not for an expensive item.
