“one of the best stores around. Can't speak for UK (internet sales), but do shop in Milan, Italy store. Staff are A1. One of the ONLY stores where customer service is practised in Milan. ....and I don't give out compliments very often or easily. keep up the great work”

“The company themselves are excellent, pity about the couriers they use. Lost my first parcel by not delivering it correctly. But Decathlon replaced no questions asked but it did make a Birthday present very late.”

“The product I bought (Tribord snorkelling mask) was brilliant but when I first tried to order online they were out of stock. I selected to be notified when the item was back in stock but unfortunately I never heard anything and luckily checked the website again and found they were back in stock, almost 2 months later. I don't blame Decathlon for not having the stock as I was aware there was a supply problem with the manufacturer (they themselves were out of stock for months) but I don't see the point in asking customers if they wish to be informed when the item is back in stock if they're never going to bother contacting you!”

“Great value for money- have used on and off since first opened in the UK - most recently for Golf equipment. One thing to watch is that sometimes items are cheaper in an individual store than advertised on-line. They will also do a price match for branded goods ( at least in store).”

“The webb-site offers a huge choice, but sometimes the footware is only available in a few sizes. Wellington boots are competitively priced, though sometimes they come folded up. This is not a problem in itself, but you do wonder if they have been recently folded, or if they have been packaged and left in that state for some time resulting in creasing or weakening along the fold lines. I have not yet found this to be the case, but the boots do take a while to resume their proper shape. If the balloons inside them were left intact then they would travel better.”

“Ordering the bike in store and having it delivered (we live 50 miles away from the nearest store) was easy, the bike was delivered 3 days later. The staff were very helpful, though the shop seemed to be under staffed for a busy Saturday.”
