“I like to use Decathlon website because the choice of products is huge and covers lots of sports and outdoors activities. The only problem i had was with delivery as they said they couldn't find the address, but in fact they didn't tried. They checked only on their maps service ,which i must say is outdated,as my house was built a year ago and still doesn't show on their maps system.”

“Nothing but good to say about this store! If you want gear that is fit for purpose, not for fashion, I recommend you shop here. The clothes are tough, well made and best of all reasonably priced. I've bought loads of stuff, from shoes to tents and never had a problem with anything. A fantastic range to suit most sports and pastimes. The range available online is fantastic, the site is easy to use and delivery to store is quick and easy. The loyalty card is simple to use with a smart phone and the app available from the play store is handy and easy to use. If you are unsure of a price in store, you can scan the bar code with the app and get instant information on the product. I'm really surprised how few people seem to know about these stores. I'm slowly converting friends and family! I used to get all my outdoor stuff from another famous store but was never totally happy with both the products or price (even with their 'discount' card) but with the Decathlon stuff, although it might not have a designer label, I feel it will last.”

“Excellent value for money products, with the top end products being well designed and well made in good materials. Online ordering and delivery to store works, with delivery delay depending on where in the world items are in stock. The removal of the 'on spec', uncharged delivery to store for inspection is a shame; you now have to buy the item, and then return it if it doesn't suit. But the website... Oh, it's just pathetic. You can't find products, even if you know exactly what it's called, because the names used in the product entries are NOT CORRECT; some lazy data entry type abbreviated the names, with an inconsistent approach, and the search is so specific, it cannot find partial matches. Even the staff despair at using either the public website, or the internal stock query system. Activity-based searching is a double-edged sword; many clothing items are suitable across multiple activities. As such, I'd like to be able to search by the basic clothing types: let ME choose whether an item is suitable for my chosen activities. This is especially true growth in cross-sport activities. The one good feature of the website is that pages for old products are still extant, provided you have an original URL; it even does URL translation to a new format URL (hint: stop messing about with URL formats).”
