“Whilst the service from Decathlon was good, the sizing of the girls swimming costumes. is quite ridiculous. They are so small, I ended up buying quite a few, to get a size that fitted. Thankfully, they are a reasonable price. I needed an age 4-5 for my niece (she has only just turned 4), I ended up buying an age 6! She is most definitely, not an age 6, in clothes.”

“I ordered some fitness equipment online and when arrived in store (Walsall) they were delivered. I collected the box and when I got home and opened the box all of the balls (10) were damaged. I was disappointed with wherever the equipment was brought from to get to the store. I was disappointed as I got them on the sunday ready for my class on monday which was then disrupted due to a lack of care and attention on packaging! When I went back I ordered another lot online in store but had to wait for these to come in, I then received an email saying they were out of stock! I then had to wait even longer for replacements which I have now received almost 2 weeks after I got the original delivery. I just think that if the service and care was taken the first time I would not have had to order them twice, the Walsall store apologising as it was not their fault and my class on the monday would have gone ahead, I had to cancel it and therefore lost income! “I have purchased a whole range of products from Decathalon, from a Triban3 road cycle to football boots to training kit for children. The quality, price and speed of delivery have been consistently very good. Customer service is unparalleled in terms of sporting goods stores. I am lining up some new purchases as I am writing this review. Well done Decathalon!”

“Good shops, good prices, good stuff, terrible website! Took three days to ship an order which was supposed to be processed in one day. Emailed them to cancel the order as it was too late for my holiday, no reply. My faith in the brand is damaged.”

“Delivery very slow from time of order, over one week. Also UPS poor for tracking compared to DPD with no time slot at all, all day delivery slot of 9am to 7pm is pretty poor these days.”

“I collected an outdoor table tennis table from the Poole store. The staff dragged the box along the floor as it was too heavy to carry. This could have damaged the product but fortunately did not. Upon unpacking at home the wheels and cover were missing. Customer services arranged to deliver the missing items but failed to confirm a delivery date so no one was home to receive the items which were returned to sender. This was weeks ago and despite numerous phone calls are still missing. Decathlon have failed to call me back on any occasion. Extremely frustrating.”

“I swithered for years about buying a cagoule, but a reviewer on Decathlon convinced me to do so. It does exactly what it says on the tin - keeps me warm and dry and is not too hideous, considering what it is. Would recommend.”
