“I have been buying products from Decathlon for around two years, when I first bought a Triban 3 road bike. This bike has been excellent value for money. I have covered over 1600 miles on this bike with the only issue being a broken chain, which did happen fairly early on, (I was a little disappointed that this was not covered in the warranty). I have bought many items of cycling clothing over the past two years, both in store and online, which have all been very good value for money and good quality. The only issue I have had is with sizing. I have had to return some clothing items due to them being too small, but now I just buy one size bigger than I normally would. I have also received excellent service from your Coventry store. I have found your staff in the cycling department to be very knowledgable and helpful. When I had an issue with the changing of gears on my bike it was quickly rectified. To summarise, I would say that Decathlon provide good quality products at very reasonable prices, particularly sale items, coupled with good customer service. I look forward to continuing to purchase sporting items from Decathlon in the future.”

“Order processed and received quickly. Ski pants are great - my son will use them for few years without growing out of them. Good quality, great colour, wash well. Tested in the snow - very comfortable, no problems. Very happy with the purchase. The only thing is that they seem a bit thin so not sure if the pants would keep him warm in a very cold winter conditions. Not tested though.”

“Good scooter, glides nicely and not too heavy. Plenty of space on footplate for my size 7 trainers! Looks smart too. Only negative is the unfolding mechanism needs a bit of getting used to, otherwise very happy with purchase. Delivery was quick and well packaged too.”

“Decathlon provides high quality products. I mainly buy the Fouganza range for equestrian. Only negatives are, Only a small range of products in store, Sizing for equestrian products can be vague/confusing or overly large, Needs more new 2015 range of rugs and other products, We need a store in the South West - Southampton/Reading too far. Will continue to buy through Decathlon.”

“I ordered running shoes online as I have trouble getting the right size in shops (Ladies UK Size 9). It was easy to order and the shoes arrived quickly for in-store pick up. They are nicer than expected for the price and are doing the job.”

“Fantastic customer service. A french lady phoned to to ensure that I got by loyalty points after a send of an email. My expectation was very low given my experiences at Amazon etc. In fact the response was superb. I also bought a bike on line which is proving to be a wonderful purchase. Fantastique”

“Very good quality goods at reasonable prices - especially like the Quechua range, and the excellent hiking gloves, Forclaz 600. The only problem is that the on-line shop allowed me to order them, and then when it came to shipping, they weren't available. They are never in stock, and once I ordered from one of the French shops. If you have a good product, best to stock it regularly. But generally very good quality, and we bought jackets, hiking shoes and are very hapy with them.”

“Out of stock in shop, so ordered online, having been told by the shop that I would be able to choose the delivery day and it would arrive in a few days. Both were untrue, and it took a while to arrive as it was despatched from France. When the item arrived it had the wrong mains plug adapter for use in the UK. I emailed Customer Services who then sent another one exactly the same! I emailed yet again, explaining again in detail, and nothing arrived. Over a month after the delivery of the goods, and after threatening to send the whole thing back and telling them that selling an item in the UK without the correct plug was actually illegal, I finally got the right adapter sent to me. Lost a month or so of my warranty. Not impressed and will not buy from this company again online. And I suggest anyone buying from one of their shops to check the item thoroughly before taking it away to make sure it has all the correct parts.”
