“The website is shocking really difficult and longwinded to use. If you type something in the search box guaranteed it will come up with 0 results . I ordered quite a bit and it was all really small sizing and my children are not big at all. One of the items a 2 part set came with one missing . I rang decathalon and they was very helpfull and sent out another quickly . Unfortunetly i had to send everything back as way too small. I was refunded without a problem but i wouldn't buy online with them again i would buy instore. The website really needs sorting as its awful to use.”

“Decathlon has some great products at fantastic prices. Unlike some other 'discount' stores, I've found their products to be high quality and really competitive with 'brand names'. Their customer service has been nothing short of outstanding as well, resolving issues I've occasionally had very quickly and in a friendly and generous way. What I would say is that the website needs a massive overhaul. There needs to be more search options, info needs to be organised more clearly and similar products need to show up when searching rather than trawling through different categories. I do think it's improving but there's a way to go yet. Why not also put the reviews from the French site on the UK site to encourage more customers!”

“Said would be with me in 2/3 days waited for over a week then trying to contact something /somebody that actually you can speak to is virtually impossible after lots of contact us emails. Then told the item is not in this country........ What was wrong with you informing me of this situation ,it's so easy to get info to people thes days.......but once a sale is made perhaps you are not that botherd about customer service/ keeping them informed. Do wonder if I had not managed to contact you would I have received the goods yet”

“The only problem I had really was ordering. Live in Ireland and would not let me go to payment stage as I didn't have a UK postal code (we don't have postal codes over here yet). Probably should have dedicated Irish site or alternatively allow you put an Irish address in without postal code. Other than that it was grand”

“Tried to buy binoculars - saw them online, available in Harlow store. Drove to Harlow - the shop was most untidy and lacking in stock. Asked where we could find them and were shown an aisle with no sign of binoculars. Assistant then went to make inquiries and came back to say they didn't think they sold them. Used in-store computer - if ordered would be available in store in 3 to 5 days, click and collect. After entering all the relevant details it said click and collect was not available at the Harlow store. We then had to order them and pay postage to have them delivered. Not very helpful. We spend lots of money at Decathlon in France and Spain. The shops are always well stocked, sell a good variety and sales staff are efficient and helpful. We were so looking forward to a fairly local branch. We will not be shopping in the Harlow branch and would not shop on line again.”

“I returned the majority of my order with three days of receipt as sizes differed garment to garment. This was three months ago. I have still NOT received a refund! You were very quick to take my money but not to refund it! I will never use decathlon again or recommend!”

“I was very happy with the price and products I purchased online. The sizes with to small so I took them to my local Warrington stores and exchanged them without any hassle. The wet weather cycle gear and accessories for the bike are top quality at a really good price. I would and have recommended to friends and clients. Only down side was the time frame on delivery on the online order which was over a week.”

“This was the first time I had had to go online. Shopping at Decathlon store always been great but riding daughter needed competition jodphurs in white. Store doesn't stock them so had to go online. They took a week to come which seemed a bit longer that other stores and of course (it is jodphurs) they didn't fit. No hassle returning and usual great service in store. Didn't get Decathlon jodphurs as seemed a lot of trouble to return and try another size. Went to where she could try on.”
