“It's not a website I enjoy using. The navigation is sometimes quite difficult, so is tracking down exactly what I'm trying to buy. It can be quite useful for browsing but I usually try and shop in a store.”

“I'm a huge fan of Decathlon, great products that have proven to be very durable and great value. I'm only rating a good though because of online ordering issues. My last package finally turned up way past the estimated delivery date. I put the blame on the very expensive courier. The tracking on Decathlon said it had been delivered but the courier said it hadn't and as mentioned they were 4 days late to deliver (beyond the estimate) and no sign of apology - I don't get this from Amazon.”

“This is the first time I have used decathlon for purchasing sports products. I will never use decathlon again, and I will continue to advise my many friends within the running and triathlon circle not to use decathlon. I returned an Item for exchange to have the same item sent back to me. I then had to use my own money to return the product t which cost me £5 I eventually decided to get a refund and take my business elsewhere. In the parcel I returned the receipt for my recorded delivery and proof of delivery. Only to be told paperwork is not kept and I will not be receiving a refund. I could not speak to any customer service representatives and could not make a formal complaint as all correspondence is by email. Shocking customer service all round! I received an email to advise that decathlon had called me, but no one had even left a voicemail to let me know this.”

Dear Mike, We apologise that your first online experience with Decathlon was not a positive one. We can see that when you created an exchange you selected the same product you previously order in action section "Create a replacement". Unfortunately we do not offer exchanges for other products as when you select action you will be presented with the different sizes available in the model you purchased and also a section for a refund. To have changed your exchange for another product we would have had to be notified so that we didn't process the returns form. In regards to the reimbursement for postage of the exchange order as the return went back to our warehouse we do not have your proof of purchase however we can ask the warehouse if they still have this with them. Alternatively we can offer you a promotional code for £5 or a £5 E-Voucher to use in store or online. “Told could be a delay of a few weeks via email, said I would get an email when in store this never happened. No email to say not collected and were sending back. Then a week after I called in store on the off cance it had come in and they said it had been sent back I get an email to confirm refund and then to insult insult an email with this survey. Terrible customer service.”

“The service is speedy and accurate and the prices are fantastic. My only caveat is that the sizes run small for children. No problem, just order up 2-3 years.”

“Brilliant.. had never heard of Decathlon until a visit to Spain, on my return i realised your merchandise is available here too.. The quality of product, especially running shoes is firs class. Keep it up, i will definitely be buying again soon!! Probably flip flops :P”

“I ordered a coat online for my little boy. The size said 12 months, which would of fit my son but when it arrived it was a 9-12 month and to small. Shame the sizing is incorrect as the coat was a lovely one.”
