“Shocking order cancellation It is a disgrace to cancel the order days after it was placed online with 'out of stock' message less than 24 hours prior to the delivery date. How can a company with this size not have a system to flag an item out of stock if someone else bought the item at the particular time. Usually, you supposed to offer your customer an alternative product, even if it was a more expensive item (the retailer covers the price difference) since this is not the customer fault. I placed the order because I wanted it on that particular time, otherwise, i would have chosen a different retailer or seller. I am definitely not using this retailer any more”

“Excellent professional service from Serji at High Street Kensington Decathlon Store. When online order of boys scooter didn’t arrive had to hurriedly find replacement for Grandsons birthday. He saved the day and provided first class service. He is a real asset and restored some of my faith in Decathlon after online service had let me down.”

“ordered a bike , wrong size and after many mess ups they promised compensation for the mistakes but instead just refund when I wanted what I ordered beware delivery is floored customer service unobtainable ... im going to trading standards and consumer watchdog on this product was great just never got correct item..... queries resolved NEVER!!!”

“Decathlon uk: Your service is awfully bad. Spending several nights in front of my computer (AT 11 PM!, only option you offer) trying to get a slot to complete a purchase and by 11.00 everything is already out of stock! I understand there is huge demand, but this is a joke and a total waste of time! I thought this was a serious company. Feel completely disappointed.”

“Brought a £1700 E bike , they sent the wrong one and won't replace as keep saying out of stock when stock was showing... no contact number available only email where you get very patronising reply and very unhelpful and rude ..... would advise to avoid buying online with this company”

“Really bad online service and customer care. I ordered something and for some reason decathlon wasn't able to validate my translation (on my side transaction went trough perfectly). They never notify me about this problem. I contacted them twice, first time a really bad agent (named Ramadhan Ruzaiman) reply to me with a standard email stating that the problem is on the delivery service without mentioning an issue in the transaction. Only after spending a day on the live chat I was able to identify the problem. Not that the agent acknowledge the fact that the transaction wasn't validated by decathlon's system but was perfectly fine withing banking system”

“Sent me only one quarter of what I ordered, charged full price. It was definitely a silly mistake made in haste but I got no help at all from customer services. I phoned my local store and spoke to a very helpful and kind employee but they were unable to help. I'm really upset that I threw away money at this particularly difficult time. Will never shop here again.”

“Decathlon are a disgrace , they messed up my order and continue to pass the blame around including blaming me. Instead of being cowards why dont you fix your mistakes and compensate customers appropriately instead of blaming everyone else.. i strongly advise that no one orders from decathlon.. you will get the same products elsewhere and have no hassle or trouble with you deliveries. As i said, DO NOT use this company! They dont care for their customers , only money!”

“Excellent products & customer service. I have just purchased an e bike on a cycle to work scheme in the Oxford branch of Decathlon. I visited the store several times in my quest to find the correct bike and choose my bike accessories. The store had a very good range of products for sale. I met three members of staff Owen, Matt & Alex during my visits and could not have asked for better customer service! Their knowledge about the bikes and cycle equipment was second to none. I never felt rushed nor did I feel they over sold the products. When I collected my bike, it was all ready to go pannier rack, basket, lights, lock all fitted as part of the service and included in the price. Owen spent time checking the seat hight, explaining how the electrics worked and how best to lock the bike up. Well done Oxford Decathlon I will definitely be recommending you to anyone who needs a bike.”
