“Worse online shopping experience ever... Next day delivery clearly isn't next day. Refunds take ages also... customer service is rubbish. Still awaiting my refund 6 weeks on although I've had emails conformation that this will take 5 working days. WARNING DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!!”

Your estimated delivery date was 15/03/2016 and we are sorry as we were unable to meet this date. As I can see from your online account, I would like to confirm that my colleague opened up an investigation with DHL locate your original order but as this process takes from 2 to 17 business days, she already created a new order for you so that you could receive your item as soon as possible and she also contacted warehouse to make sure they ship it as priority. We would like to offer you £30 refund which we could process for you manually as good will gesture for the inconvenience caused. “No shop will ever get it right 100% of the time, but when Decathlon have made mistakes, they have always bent over backwards to sort them out. Their guarantee policy is in my opinion is second to none. Having recently bought a pair of cycling shorts, that have proven to be unsuitable after 4 rides, they have offered to replace or refund me, where many would not on this type of item. There in house products win regular awards from top reviewers and yet many people still turn their noses up at the brand. Stupid people. If I have one negative it would only be that there isn't enough stores, making getting to one a bit of a trek for me.”

“Good stuff, easy to order and collect from the shop is brilliant. The 365 days refund is also excellent. Ratio price/quality is excellent. Wish to have more choice for instance in snow sport where the choice of snow hiking boots and snow shoes are limited.”

“A great little watch for kids. My 9 year old son has the tiniest wrists, even regular watches are too loose for him but this is perfect, it adjusts small enough. It's very easy to use too, with just the press of one button to get to stopwatch followed by one press each of another button to stop and start. He's really looking forward to trying it out at his run on Sunday! Thank you Decathlon!”

“I always buy these pumps and they have always been a good fit until this time. It seem the pumps are much narrower than before and also less elastic used Which makes them a very poor fit, so much so I am unable to wear them :-(”

“Very poor experience of a company not properly set up for online shopping. Initially tried purchasing for collection in store, debit card debited although against their policy apparently. Contacted by email to say item was not available in store, despite showing as available online. I then tried to purchase item again from the main warehouse. Waited over a week to be told item is not in stock, despite again showing otherwise online. So if you're in a hurry for something, avoid decathlon, which is a pity as otherwise I do like their products.”

Dear David Thank you for leaving a review. Despite our attempts to keep our stock level fully up to date there can occasionally be errors or damage to products. In regards to the payment some banks do show the fee as authorised however the money is not taken until the product is scanned through the till. Sorry for any inconvenience caused. Have a nice day.

“Decathalon is a great shop for not just sports clothes but comfortable clothes too and every type of sports equipment. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable too which is great. Bring back the organic cotton stuff though as it's sooo nice to wear : )”
