I haven't received anything yet! The first one got lost. DX arranged delivery but didn't turn up. When I called after waiting in I was told they didn't have it. Some back and forth, chasing etc but who knows what happened to it. Agreed an alternative with decathlon last week with bats and cover so was a bit happier. I called DX today to find out when but they haven't received. Called decathlon and it's still in the warehouse. Still waiting. Any prioritisation would be greatly appreciated. For 2 man deliveries it would be good if you can put the correct contact details for DX. I went round the houses with DX call centre at first.

Shopping over internet is easy and convenient. However returning items for whatever reason is not so conducive to your peace of mind. Finding somewhere nearby that will take your parcel to send back is challenging. If returning to a store FORGET IT. Different stores seem to have different policies. ie; Exchange only, (even if you have already purchased a replacement item on line, to be collected at that store) so you end up with two identical items instead of one. Credit Note, to be used in that store only (within a time frame). Amount credited to your account, but only if they can find a member of staff with the authority to this. Amount credited back to your CARD, but..... again, only if they can find someone to check your original transaction, then authorise this. If really really persistent you may be lucky and actually get a cash refund, but only if it is a low value item. So, go ahead and order online for convenience, (I will again) BUT make sure the sizing is right for you. Or be prepared to possibly waste a few hours of your life trying to correct your error.

I bought a knee support. I had to cut the label off as it was scratching me which meant that when I discovered the support was very ineffective and, in fact, made my lower leg swell I didn't feel I could send it back.

Hi, This review refers specifically to the online ordering and delivery to store side of Decathlon. I have great plus points (and some cons) for my local Belfast Store also included. On the 24th Apr I placed an order for a set of SPD cleats as the Belfast store was out of stock. I received confirmation that they had arrived in store on the 27th April and I went to pick them up on the 30th whilst collecting my bike which was being serviced. I was advised by Polly (very friendly) that there had been a mix up and my order had been shipped to another store. She took my name and address and as it was your mistake you would post them out to me. At this stage I am upset with the online ordering but happy with in store actions taken. Today I have called the Belfast Store and was speaking to Gareth. I explained the above and also added that nearly a week on I have still yet to receive my cleats. He was able to look on the computer and see that the order had been cancelled - due to me not picking the goods up! He also advised that there are some in store that I can purchase and that my money will be refunded in 5 to 7 days. Two things to call out here are - poor service levels with online ordering., and what happened to Polly's statement that my goods would be posted out. This is my second negative experience with Decathlon (1st being a concern over loyalty point allocation from the workshop). I hope it is resolved as satisfactorily as the 1st. You didn't have what I went in for but there were alternatives just more expensive. The shop was tidy and staff were helpful.

Very efficient and fast service. I love my wellies - they have been superb in the really cold weather because of the fleece lining. Great colour range and price too.
