“My second time of ordering from Decathlon online was initially a success and then a big disappointment. With some additional effort on my part, success was finally mine - Yay ;o) I ordered a Tribord EasyBreath snorkel marsk. Brilliant idea at an amazing price. Ordered, paid and order confirmed. Next day - sorry but we are out of stock! How's that? I had confirmation it was in stock and my order was successful. No sorry that colour (Blue) is out of stock, we'll refund you. I immediately went online and checked Decathlon stock of the other colour (Light Blue), showing as 'in stock'. I ordered and paid for one. Confirmation of order, followed by delivery of order. A few days later I get the initial order payment refunded... as you would expect. My question is... why, oh why couldn't somebody just ask me if I would like the alternative colour that's actually still in stock, because your first choice colour is no longer available...Simples. What resulted can only be described as poor customer service, somebody not thinking. Ultimately I did get what I wanted from Decathlon - a nice Tribord EasyBreat skorkel mask for my holidays, but it took more effort on my part than it should have. Am I 100% happy? No not completely. Will I order from Decathlon again? I will probably give them a chance to redeem themselves. Any issue what-so-ever and I'm gone.”

“Excellent order tracking notifications and delivered on time. Goods ok - purchased equestrian tops, one brand too thin and other brand too heavy. That is risk of buying online from any website, actual fabric cannot be seen and graphics do not give realistic image.”

“Very happy with the service from and cost of items (specifically sale goods) from Decathlon. It would be strategically beneficial to the company if there was another store located either in South Wales (Bridgend/Cardiff/Swansea) or the West Country (Bristol) that would benefit potential consumers in one or both regions. The nearest store to us is Oxford/Reading/Southampton which is not appropriate for sport loving individuals from within the Wales & the West area in the UK.”

“Great value and quick delivery to store, however, the state of the click & collect area in wednesbury was terrible (it was the last time I used click & collect too), the staff couldn't find our package and eventually found it beneath the till not in the logical alphabetical shelves. Also wish there was decathlon a nearer to where I live. Decathlon Merry Hill sadly closed a few years ago.”
