“A maritime store- Southampton has a very poor stock of sailing products. Ordered items but coming from France arrived too late for trip and way past estimate. E mail system unresponsive to cancellation and just kept on sending me e mails saying stuff had arrived. Cancellation on non collection took 2 weeks. Decathlon great quality gear at great price but website sevice woeful and why don't you deliver in this day and age?”

Thank you for contacting us. In regards to the low variety of stock in the Southampton Store, we will pass your feedback to the store manager there, in order to improve the service given. About the emails that you were receiving, it was because of a technical problem in your account, where the status had not been changed, but we have already actualized it manually so you won't be receiving those emails anymore. In addition, the delivery dates are always estimated, and that should be why sometimes the order is not dispatched at the exact date that was told at the beginning. “To be honest I've been a fan ever since I was a kid, absolutely anything you need for the outdoors they have. Not a great selection of kit for high end sports but for getting the basic kit you can't beat them.”

“Overall a great experience as I have ordered quite a few bits previously which is why I gave high marks. However bit disappointed this time as I ordered a tankini and only the top half came. I think they should not have sent it if they could not fulfil the order or at least contact me. I ordered store delivery as my husband was working there that week. I knew we would be keeping it as I already had one in a different colour. However when I called and explained I only had half the order as they had sold out they said I had to return it to the store and could not send back by post. I don't think you should be restricted as to how you make a return. Decathlon were great though when I explained that I wasnt going near a store and that it was their fault I was returning the item. Their staff are really helpful and the products always good quality and fit.”

“I searched on the internet quality sports- gear and clothes: Kayak, life jackets, paddels, sport gloves, swim suits, caps etc. and found all togheter on Decathlon. Decathlons prices where cheaper than elswhere else. All bought products arrived very fast and well packed. The quality of the Brand products was as expected, high. The first time Decathlon experience was an absolute 10/10!!!”
