“Article was good value and delivered promptly at reasonable cost.Tracking did not work but customer service did find out delivery time for me.I d recommend them even more if they did not use hermes for delivery.”

“I have shopped at Decathlon for many years, for all my family, and the products are not only good value for money, they are also well designed and obviously rigorously tested in order that they do what they are meant to do. In any given department they offer a large range - from budget equipment to professional kit. I have never found fault with them and it is the first place we go to if we need anything for our holidays.”

“Online experience was fine, apart from a few language translation errors on the order form. But service in store at pick up was awful. Self serve machines were broken and there was a long queue with only one person on a till. Whilst in store I picked up some socks that were on offer only to be charged a higher price at the till. I challenged the price as code and description matched the shelf offer. The manager informed me that the price at till was correct regardless of what the shelf showed. I was appalled and took a photo to make a written complaint. When he saw me take the photo his attitude changed and he said he would take the sign down and charge me the offer price. Clear mis selling and total lack of empathy to customer from staff. I won't return.”

“Hi Robert mcwilliams here I just want to say I ordered floattube of yous witch was the service was great I received the floattube pretty Quick I had a couple of problems with floattube and Decathlon was righting Quick at replacing my floattube so I want to say from the bottom of my heart The biggest thank Decathlon and the people that work for them yous are very friendly and plesent Robert thank you again”

“I bought two pairs and returned one for refund but there was some confusion thinking I meant exchange but it was quickly sorted following a phone call. However the website is a nightmare to use if you want to return something, not user friendly at all”

“THIS WAS THE WORSE ONLINE SHOPPING THE ITEMS WAS STOLEN FROM WAREHOUSE NOTHING BUT LIES FROM HELP LINE STAFF MANAGERS FAIL TO CALL YOU OR SORT OUT THE PROBLEM ITEMS NOT BEING SENT AND GOING MISSING ??? I HAD TO CALL HEAD OFFICE 3 DAYS ON THE RUN JUST TO GET NEW ITEMS SENT AFTER WAITING 2 WEEKS WITH NO CONTACT FROM THEM OVER DELAYED DELIVERY AND ITEMS GOING MISSING”

“Such value for money! Doesn't pack down to the smallest compared to brand names but for £25 it's warm and a nice bright colour. It's also reinforced in areas which is useful when climbing in it! Overall I'm super happy!!!”

“My order never arrived. The delivery company said they would try to rediliver a further 2 times...they tried again once. Despite someone being home order was not completed. No refund has been offered. Your company still believe the goods have been delivered. There was no option to leave with a neighbour either. Very disappointed”

“I ordered online for click and collect and it transpired you were out of stock , upon receipt of the email on a Monday to say they were out of stock I contacted customer services who gave me numerous options including a refund , I decided to wait and see if the items arrived on time , customer services checked on 2 occasions and called me to keep me updated ... the items arrived on the Wednesday as promised... Customer services were brilliant , I would say the best I have ever dealt with for a large organisation , the proof is always when something goes wrong how well the seller responds ... magnificent response from decathlon who were honest with great communication skills ... because they were honest it meant I could have a contingency if the stock hadn't arrived ... very very good”

“Availability of products and delivery lead time - very good Help from staff in store to find goods - very good Price and value for money - very good Check out at the till, return and staff helpfulness - very poor Comments: 15 minutes wait at the till as the returns could only be made by one person at one specific till. Staff not bothered making the customers wait and not really eager to help”

“Firstly I can't fault your goods it was the online experience which was poor. I ordered wellies for my toddler and was happy to wait for the time estimated on the delivery to store section. I hadn't heard anything 5 days later so went into branch who advised an email would be sent once items arrived. Another day passed nothing so I decided to cancel order online and buy the wellies elsewhere. I thought this would be processed once the branch received the items but the following day I received email confirming items now in branch. I checked my account and refund request was showing as awaiting action obviously processes we not linked. I decided that the refund would be processed once I didn't collect items. Well it turned out to be 3 weeks before refund was processed. Very poor turnaround and I wonder if 7 days is normal in a world that can provide items next day into most retailers? Lesson learned if the item isn't in the shop find an alternative retailer.”
